Not to be melodramatic but I reeeaaaalllllyyyy don't know if I'd bother with season 3 if it didn't have Clem in it in some capacity. A two game investment and now we're just moving on to someone new? Whose just going to die eventually anyway since that's the only kind of ending? Nah.
If Clem dies I'll probably be disappointed that Season 2 has done another thing Season 1 did, but worse.
End of Season 1 Episode 4 had Lee dying and Clem kidnapped by a guy out for for revenge because his family died after he was robbed.
End of Season 2 Episode 4 has Clem cold and a baby accidentally in the crossfire from some random guys who lost a gun they don't even need yet are out for revenge.
It's a similar situation where the protectors are weak and innocents are at risk from people out for revenge, but less meaningful. If Clem dies, it will be sad, but I don't expect it to be as well developed as Lee's death.
I would possibly react...oh dear she's dead, who's gonna be the protagonist of S3, having said that we haven't played EP5 yet, i also don't get too attached to video games, excuses include Mafia 1 (the first game which made my throat rock solid) and Beyond Two Souls (which made me depressed for about 3 weeks). I know alot of people are/were attatched to Kenny,Lee and recently Sarah.
An old user on the forums told this place was very chaotic when Lee died, hate threads and theories on how he lived were everywhere. And anyone tried to reason Lee died were hated on, this went on for a long time.
If Clementine dies, i would kick my computer chair down, run to the toilet, throw up a few times, go back to my room and lay on the bed and cry for hours. Seriously, i would do that, since she's my favorite character and i don't want her to die. Each time i'm thinking on the walking dead episode 5, i get a bad feeling in my stomach and the worse thing is, i can't play it until the 29th August, because of a school trip..
I would probably have a variety of reactions to sad, angry, and maybe even distraught, but I would probably walk away feeling a bit disappointed that Clem's journey wasn't nearly as memorable nor as interesting as Lee's journey.
I would probably be sad and never play Telltale's Walking Dead again.
No hate, but I played season one to keep Clem safe and season two was to experience the world as my creation and if I don't get to continue as her, I have no real reason to stick to the game series.
BUT I do really enjoy Telltale's other work like Sam & Max, Puzzle Agent, Hector, Bone, Back to the Future and hopefully Tales from the Borderlands,

Haven't played it and never took a real interest in the Fables series.
I'm not saying it's bad, just saying it's not my cup of coke zero (I dislike tea).

It would be another example of very poor and unoriginal storytelling. As if Telltale thought 'okay, we killed Lee the first season, so we'll kill Clem the second season because we can't think of anything original to do.
Agreed. And Duck is alive and well - he was just faking the whole being bitten then getting shot in the head by Lee thing.
Sarah's also alive and well.
I don't think they'll kill Clem for a completely different reason than that she's a kid. Because it would be derivative and stupid to kill the main character a second time for the second season. The purpose of Season 1 was to keep Clem safe. Not for Lee to live. So when Lee gets bitten, the purpose of keeping Clem safe is still there.
The purpose of Season 2 has been to keep Clem alive and learning how to use her survival skills to make it in this zombie infested world. Carver put it well. Clem put it well. Luke put it well. KEnny put it well. Clem is capable in this new world.
The Walking Dead has been Clem's story, both in season 1 and 2. If she dies, it pretty much shuts out any good reason for a third season. You could claim 'we'll go with Jane' or someone else. But honestly, the most fleshed out character in the game? It's Clem. Because she's been formed by our choices (or at least the illusion of our choices) - both as Lee making choices and Clem making choices, and that's supposed to be the big thing about this series:

I Bet Lee Would Look Like That If He Was Older.
That home video. THE FEELS. ARRRRRRGGGGGHHH.
I wouldn't be able to handle it. It would really do me in.

If Clementine dies then Season 2 isn't canon anymore.

i'm with u too xD
I'd cry of course, this game makes me emotional anyway
cry for 1 year for sure
I'll be more depressed than I probably should be.
If Clementine dies, I'll shoot my TV and yell...
Jesus are you fuckin' kidding me?!
Good thing there's no more dislike buttons
After two seasons with all that character development and screen time? My reaction to her death would be:
And tears. Lots and lots of tears. Possibly an ocean worth if we combine our grief and sob our hearts out. Bring a swim suit.
I'd cry a lot if Clem dies
TelltalePleaseDon'tKillClementine
Can somebody link me the vine? I haven't seen it yet.

i would be like
Try Episode 1 first and see what happens from there, I felt the same way.
Thanks for making a lot of people depressed.
Probably just take a few xanax and try to sleep it off.
If She Dies, She Dies.... Who Cares
Indeed for the cowardly.. cough
Telltale can't kill a freaking kid!!!
Here are the 5 stages of grief and loss.
Rather calmly all things considered..
IF this happens i will buy a plane ticket to america. reach telltale games hq. and just start ULTRA-SLAPPING bitches
I would be like
Later on I would be like
Don't be so over dramatic, The Wolf Among Us is a great game. Give it a try.
