I didn't like episode 1 as much as other episodes, unlikable characters and a plot that didn't amount to much of anything but to me no episodes were 'disappointing'
It felt rushed. The year and a half time jump. The lack of explanation of what happened to Christa's baby(Which I can understand from the writer's perspective, but that doesn't mean I have to like it). Paired me with a dog that I didn't want to have anything to do with in the first place. Then put me with a group of people, only one of which I liked- and who ended up being bit at the end of the episode. So basically by the end of the episode there were a bunch of things that I was disappointed with from the writers, and I was stuck with a group I disliked.
But then episode 2 won me back and the next couple of episodes were much better as well. Although Molly 2.0(Jane) was a bit redundant.
I think that too. Maybe everybody dies in the shootout and Clementine spends most of the episode all by herself thinking that every person who gets "close" to her dies (Kind of hinted in S201) until you find someone and (hopefully) that person dies in the "Kindly stop for me" achievement so the season ends with Clementine being a _______ person.
I'm torn.

A) Everyone died in the shootout
They don't want to spoil out WHO made it out alive.
Both of them are bad. Very bad, when you think that our group have only 4 most likeable characters (Mike, Kenny, Luke, Bonnie)...

I liked it... and then not so much. Your predictions regarding the overarching themes of the season seem pretty spot on, from what I have seen, but I still argue that the execution and the lack of a strong characterization and real moral dilemma regarding the moralist vs pragmatist stances, since the season only seems to endorse the latter. It does not matter if I am in agreement with that posture (or at least the not so extreme version of it), it is... sad( ?) to see that a game that is supposed to give me an argument, a real tough choice between the two so overwhelmingly panders to that philosophy and completely disregards the alternative.
I know your stance towards Sarah, and even I as not a big fan of her I thought that the point Jane (bless her, I still liked her a lot in this, even if the only reason is my headcannon) and the writers were trying to make came off way too forced for my taste; her second death is ridiculous and Nick was a waste.
Other than that, I thought the episode held some very good moments that were lacking throughout the season, and it was fine. Most of my problems with it are those that I had since the beginning of the season, but as a single episode, I liked it alright.
Regardless of my experience with S2 as of now, I think that I will enjoy it more once No Going Back is released and I can try to focus on it from other perspectives. What did you think of it?
Well, I certainly hope that I don't get as disappointed as i was with No Time Left, Or how I was partially disappointed with Cry Wolf.

Well at the point where Clem encounters the dog I was already feeling like I should be in survival mode, and that damn dog kept barking and barking. I was seriously considering eating the dog, but it ended up beating me to the punch and I had no way of avoiding it.
Of course this is all just my opinion, and everyone is free to disagree with it. But don't try to convince me that I should not have been disappointed with episode one, I'm not trying to convince anyone else that they should be disappointed with it.
