Oh no. I'm just gonna find a way where the FOTD crew can chat without these jerks trying to ruin the fun for us by downvoting and other pathetic shit. We never had any problems before until this shit happened. I private home is being invaded.
Seriously, who had the BALLS to dislike something like this!? How dare you?
How dare you click that button when its based on an issue that is REAL, SICK, and one that I happen to take seriously?
There is one prostitute who somehow (don't remember how) broke her back. She was taken to the hospital. After about, I dunno, a day, she was taken out of there by her pimp, and she was taken back to the brothel to have sex with a broken back.
Greetings folks. Just checking in on you guys.
I have been thinking about some things... important things that require feels. Lots of f… moreeels. Lemme show you this music video. It is screamo, but just. Watch it. Its about human trafficking
For Today - Fight The Silence
And yeah... since the threads merged, we've been getting asswipes here. This place is crumbling. It's like that show ReBoot, where the system Mainframe starts crashing cuz of all the chaos.

This is why I like being cynical. This species' countless shortcomings don't phase me anymore. Don't interpret this as apathy, though. If I have direct contact with someone I consider unpleasant, I'll call them out on it.
Sorry to interrupt... whatever this is, but guys - we need to talk. Now.
Normally, I would hold off on... directly addressing things like this and hope they work themselves out, but sometimes, you have to act on your own incentive if you want to see change.
You guys might not know this, but much like the Walking Dead series we all know and love, your actions have consequences. Just like the game, the consequences of your choices might not be imminent or even prominent in some instances, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t there.
The volunteer moderation of these forums is a labor of love and nothing more. Aside from some complementary gestures here and there on Telltale’s behalf, We don’t get formally compensated. We do this on our own inclination – our own free time - and nothing else. People frequently ask us how we got the role as volunteer moderators on behalf of the community, and each time, I always make it a point that we started off as regular users just like you guys. Due to some special trait or niche we demonstrate, Telltale or currently elected moderators select new people to join.
I remember when Puzzlebox asked me to join the Telltale moderation team. It was sometime, early last December. I had got an email saying “Hello from Telltale.” I had wondered what the occasion was. A new episode coming out soon? But it wasn't from some generic Telltale address. It was from Laura’s Telltale Games email account. Addressed only to me.
Subject: “Hello from Telltale Games.”
To myself, I had questioned that odd thing, sent directly to me.
“I’m Telltale’s community person (also known as puzzlebox), and just wanted to say that you’re pretty awesome.”
Hey, that’s true. I am pretty awesome. Yay Me! Oh, there’s more.
But I digress…
“I’ve certainly noticed your posts on the Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead – very informative and helpful.”
“Would you be interested in joining the mod team at all?
Best,
Laura.”
…and then I stopped. Me? As a mod? I mean, that’s cool and all, but I just mostly lurk on the forums. Me? Funny enough, the first thing on my mind wasn’t the mod position, but the fact that I had made my Telltale account with some extremely old relic of an email account from years ago that had some tacky name.
I was so nervous and taken back, I didn’t respond for a whole week. And I didn’t even respond to the email. She asked me again via a PM on the Telltale forums.
I had questioned what merit I had to get such a cool position. …But those threads I linked to? Those were back from October. It had been nearly a month later when I had got that email. Why the long wait? For a while, that kind of intrigued me. But then, months later behind the scenes, @OzzyUK was tossed out as a proposal for a new mod. For the first time – behind the scenes – I saw why it took so long. I had always known that moderators aren’t just picked left and right willy nilly, but when I was behind the scenes talking with Puzzlebox and the others, we didn’t just toss out names and leave it at that. We laboriously discussed for several weeks what contributions they could make to the community as a moderator. Heck, looking back in the Telltale mod section, I saw that I had gotten the same treatment. Vainamoinen described it as putting OzzyUK under “positive scrutiny.”
The point in all of this? When we recruit new mods, it isn’t some half baked process. We labor carefully over each choice. Heck, if anything, perhaps we are too picky sometimes. It’s not snooty elitism, we just care that much. As people who are first and foremost community members, it’s an exhilarating process to have the chance to volunteer and work towards taking something you love, and make it even better. Don’t just take my word for it though. Remember how I mentioned Puzzlebox? She used to be a volunteer moderator too – and by that gamut, she also used to be a regular user. She had gotten her job at Telltale due to the connections she had as being a volunteer moderator.
Why the long post, Blind Sniper? Are you quitting?
Me, nah. I’m sticking around. Muhahahah.[Thunder and lightning.]
However, other moderators in the past have quit because of some venom directed towards them from the community. Darth Marsden quit, partially because he was disappointed that after Walking Dead, people only ever used the forums to complain and scrutinize Telltale. And now, we have another mod leaving. Remember how I said earlier that choices have consequences, much like the Walking Dead?
Just as the Lounge of the Dead thread was a close knit community, there are other groups of friends and communities on these forums. Before the Walking Dead, the forums were a lot more close knit in general, but that is understandable and reasonable as Telltale has gotten bigger since the Walking Dead. A lot bigger. Naturally, this means the introduction of a lot of new and diverse perspectives – all of which are welcome as long as you play nice.
What’s the point in all of this?
To put it bluntly, you guys are being jerks. And not in a small way either.
As I said earlier, being a volunteer moderator is a labor of love. We don’t just look out for one group and play favorites, we try to act in the best interest of what makes the community a better place. Sometimes, this means going against the mass opinion, but I sincerely give you my heartfelt promise that this thread merging wasn’t meant as a jibe against you guys. The point of the matter is that a moderator, acting in the best interest of the collective community, decided a single fan fiction did not need its’ own off topic thread. Sure, you said your selves that others were welcome to participate, but we already had another thread that filled that niche.
This bullying and harassment of Jennifer for merging the threads? It’s unacceptable.Absolutely unacceptable.
You all are not entitled to bully and belittle a volunteer moderator just because you are… [melodramatic gasp] forced to include more people in your niche. Your actions have caused another moderator to quit – not because they did not have a thick skin, but because you all are acting in a toxic manner that isn’t very good for the community.
I’m going to close the thread for a while to let you all sit back and think about what you’ve done.
Oh, and by the way, you all don’t get to mandate what thread this is or isn’t. This thread isn’t the Forum of the Dead Lounge anymore. I’m sorry that you don’t get to have your own off topic thread, but that’s because there already was an off topic thread. I’m not going to play favorites with you all. Not after the frankly abhorrent response you all have given by resulting to harassment and bullying.

Its ridiculous. They are ignorant. How can anyone be THAT heartless?
Id like to apologize about my behavior yesterday. "I went agro" Mods have more important people to watch instead of me and the loungers.
