What if the baby was shot? Someone took a shot at Clem but it hit the baby instead and the baby died? So Clem left the baby behind and she has the choice to either kill the person who killed the baby or let them live (like Christa and Michelle). And then she just keeps pushing forward and all she has is the gun.
If Clem were shot in that location, given how small she is, it would be fatal. The bullet would either hit her lung or hit a major blood vessel, both of which would kill her fairly quickly. I kid. It's probably some sort of injury but I dont think it's life threatening tbh. I think it's a knick she got from the fight. She'd be holding it if it was a big deal.
Yeah if the bullet had hit her lung, she'd probably be panting ridiculously hard, trying to catch her breath. It depends on the angle the bullet went in. I'm assuming it went straight through her, bc if it ricocheted inside her that usually mean internal injuries and more internal bleeding. Or it could've been deflected/gotten stuck in one of her ribs...still a sucky injury but better than if internal organs are damaged.
Also contrary to popular belief the heart isn't that far on the left side of the chest; it's mostly dead center under your sternum. The lower tip just protrudes to the left a bit.

I have a theory that it could be the baby's blood on her jacket, since Clem was holding the baby in that position. Maybe the baby coughed up blood.

Why the baby would cough up blood, I don't know. Maybe it was on the verge of death, so Clementine put it out of it's misery by shooting it at close range, and it's brain juice splattered on her jacket. Or the baby was just verge of death in general and coughed up blood.
But I highly doubt Clem was shot. I don't think it's her blood at all.
I just hope clem survives she deserves to be save maybe you guys think not the same about my opinion but she lost really much she had to kill/leave lee and he was like a father to her she lost almost everybody she loves and she doesn't give up she fights for the one who need her she protects them.

When I look at the blood stain on Clem's jacket, it doesn't look like the typical blood splatter we've seen her get in previous episodes while fighting walkers. It's just one simple stain. Either something or somebody has leaned on her for that blood to be there, or she has indeed been shot and it's bled through onto the jacket.
But it could be like what Sialark said, if she got shot it could've hit her rib and maybe not have been as fatal as it could be if hitting internal organs, or the bullet could've just grazed her from being hit at an angle and it merely looks worse than it is....speaking of which, how the heck did Kenny survive a shot to the gut with a rifle in Season one?

If she was hit by a 7.62x39 round from Buricko's AK then she'd probably be more or less instantly dead
She could possibly survive a 9x19 or .45 GAP round from a Glock though, but I think it's more likely she wasn't shot.
