Who decided to leave Lee instead of shooting him at the end of Season 1?

Personally, I chose to leave him behind because I felt really bad for him.

  • Im one of the people who left Lee. But bro, you're on the support central forums, not on the main WD forums.

  • How do you do that then?

  • I only think of one way, repost, bro. :)

How do you do that then?

  • I stayed silent and let Clem decide, she chose to leave me.

  • Uh, you..you weren't really 'leaving him alive' :p

  • I left him.

  • I couldnt live to know that Lee would be a walker D: What if he caused the death of someone? D:

  • I let Clementine decide. She chose to leave him. I wholeheartedly agree with her decision.

  • Honestly I decided to kill him to make myself cry more XD After all it is the sadder ending

  • Made her leave. She might need that bullet later.

  • Well lets just say that bullet went into Omid's heart D:

Made her leave. She might need that bullet later.

  • I didn't want Clem to go through shooting Lee, as it could scare her, even traumatize her, so I chose her to leave him. :'(

  • GOD DAMNIT WHAT HAVE I DONE!?

Well lets just say that bullet went into Omid's heart

  • I left him. I just didn't see a good enough reason to make Clem shoot him before he'd even turned into a zombie. She said she didn't think she could do it, and it just seemed cruel to make her do it anyway. If Lee were to come back as a zombie now, I would have Clem shoot him, because as Lee said, zombie Lee wouldn't really be Lee.

  • I let Clementine leave him because, as Lee, I didn't care about becoming a walker. "It won't be me" was exactly right. It also seemed like a waste of a bullet.

I let my Clem choose what to do by staying silent. She left him

  • I shot him.

  • I made her handcuff Lee to the radiator and told her to leave. I figured it would be less traumatizing than having to shoot him in the face. Cuz even though Lee hated the idea of turning into one of them, he just couldn't do that to poor Clem :(

And I imagine that at some point after the storyline ends, Clementine will go back to Savanna and put Lee out of his misery.

  • I had Clementine shoot Lee. I couldn't imagine Lee being a walker. I figured that it was the last favor anyone could do for him, to put him out, so thay's exactly what I told Clem to do. I still think it was right.

  • No it didn't. There was atleast a couple months different between end of E5/START of s2 e1 because Christa was fully showing. So you're saying Clem didn't use that bullet in that couple months? Bullshit.

Well lets just say that bullet went into Omid's heart

  • I had her shoot him because its a necessary thing in the Walking dead world. She needs to be strong and understand how the new world works. It was her final test...

  • I wasn't going to let Lee turn. Period.

I fail to cry at the "Shoot Lee "ending, but the Leave Lee ending I choke up every time.

I just can't feel sympathy for Lee, forcing Clem to shoot him for the reason of "there's no other way", when infact there is. Also putting her in danger by depriving her of a bullet and alerting any walkers that hear the shot. Seems kinda selfish. 'Leave Lee' is better for the story IMO.

"But you made her to see him as a walker later."

HELL. NO. She left the place before he turns. But you %63 of players made her to see the one person she loved and cared about the most with a bullet hole in his head. His lifeless body with the blood on the wall. Damn... it's not my business to critisizing your choices guys and girls but... even imaging that scene in Clem's eyes... it's just... hard.

  • It was a joke..

  • You dont feel sympathy for someone who doesnt want to turn into a monster? Selfish or not, a lot of people dont want that. He was handcuffed and immobile so his walker self would have slowly wasted away. I didnt think my Clem would want to know that was happening.

  • I shot him the first couple of times, but the last time I left him and it was different than how I thought it would be. Lee gets a chance to tell Clementine that shooting people, and even shooting walkers, changes you. I thought that was a nice touch. But it was still awful to leave him there.

  • I never understood this. Was is only for emotional purposes that Lee get handcuffed or not, shot, or left to die? I still feel like there has to be a purpose as to why these options were made, and if it had ever made an effect later on.

  • I agree with you. It is hard.

No, of course I feel sympathy. That's a determinant situation after all. What I mean is; he's all like there's only one way, no alternatives (shooting him ) while there is another way (leaving him) That's why I don't feel sympathy of his way. It's your choice of course. I'm not judging. It's not my business. It's your point of view and I'm sorry if that comment shows me like an asshole.

  • I shot him, I felt like sh*t but I couldn't let him die alone and then become a walker.

  • It's okay, no harm done. :) I guess I was just so torn up over the thought of Lee turning, thats all, but depending on what you choose, he can make it seem like its the only choice. Of course, it isnt. Either way, we lose a good man.
