So Season 2 is nearing the end, and while im sure many people including myself will stick around, i'm sure others wont. So let's reminisce together about the good or bad memories of your time her during season 2.
Okay, I'll start. The worst memory I have here...
The outbreak of R34. Oh god that was horrible. It made me die a little.

Ah, I miss the golden age when the meme and fun thread wasn't In the forum games section, when people seemed a lot nicer and there were an over abundance of gifs.
Hopefully the golden age will return one day.
What's all this about an "R34 Outbreak"?
It was more like several outbreaks of people posting pornographic art of walking dead characters (mostly Clementine) in "compromising" positions.

Basically people got the better of their curiosity and clicked on... terrible links. ._.
Imma go into detail.
It started when someone posted an "awesome comic" of an alternate storyline, where Clem found a settlement and was convincing a guy to let her in. Someone tried to find the rest by checking the image, only to find rule34 in the link. Knowing that people found out, the OP posted the entire comic, which was, full of pedophilia and sex and all sorts of wrong.
Then the trolls found out. And for a day or two everywhere and everything was spammed with pornorgraphic art, mainly including Clementine. EVERYWHERE. After a lot of work from the mods, they couldn't stop it and in the end images were disabled for a while. It hasn't happened since.
Links didn't last long, trolls spammed the pictures everywhere.

I remember battling with the Boombox troll. He called me a crazy bitch wh*re and tried to pose as me on an account called HelloWord321 and called me sis. He also made accounts for others. I'd rather have those than the porn.
And I remember when I first came here and I was so scared to post but everyone was so nice and now a lot of people kinda just ugh. October 13th marks one year since I signed up with this stupid username that I knew I was gonna regret choosing.
Well there are nice people still like me.

Sadly, its hard to forget what happened with Jennifer and all that.
But, there have been some good positives too. Like with Tobi creating his comic, and seeing other people's fan fictions on here. Good to see.

Yeah. It was awful. I felt sorry for the mods then. They literally had to spend crap ton of their time deleting Clem x lee pics. Poor mods.
I remember when there was a thumbs down option. I never used it, but those were the days.
Oh, and the whole season 2 hype and disappointment wave. I was around for all of that.
I remember the first thread I went on here. It was titled "Mankind or Clementine" and it was made before season 2.
That time when everyone's avatars turned into Gavin Hammon's face, weird times... Oh wait, that's ongoing.

I guess this forum goes through phases.
I joined sometime after A House Divided came out, but I still feel new in some ways. There were a lot of good discussions back then; the Create Your Own TWD FanFic thread', 'The Poetry Thread' among others. Generally there was less bickering. But it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. There were a ton of adbots, Cluke was at it's height and that disgusting Rule34 shit was still floating around. Eventually images went away and that seemed pretty hard on a lot of people. The interactive fanfic rush was awesome at first, but eventually drowned the rest of the TWD section and was ultimately harmful to other fanfiction writers, whose work got exiled to forum games along with the interactive fics.
Basically, what I'm saying is; the community was awesome back then, but it still had just as many problems as it does now.
