Season 3?
Now it is not confirmed if it is the end of Clementine's story but a lot of people really do believe that it is as it is quite obvious considering the amount of alternate choices at the end.
So if that's true then season 3 is maybe likely going to be a whole new story with new characters etc
What would you think of that?
I think that it is hard to just go from 2 seasons of one story of characters to a brand new one, where would they start?

I would like for season three to have Clementine as the playable character.
I thought the story would continue as Clementine but I'm unsure how Telltale are gonna handle all the different beginnings of Season 3...

I always thought it would be good to play as someone like Lee again for season 3 but have Clementine with you, only this time you wouldn't have to take care of her as she is now mature enough.
But the only problem there is that people would of had different ways of playing as Clem in S2, so for her to just be an unplayable character would be hard for them as she could of had different attitudes etc.
I wanted Christa to return in Season 3 as the guardian of Clem and AJ, but that is now unlikely. Even so, I believe Christa would be a viable protagonist - she's a competent loner like Jane, she isn't determinant like Kenny, and her personality is undefined enough that we could go in several directions without being out-of-character. On a personal level, I also just like the idea of having an attractive young woman be the protagonist - it'd combine the adult strength of Lee's perspective with the vulnerability of Clem's story.
Since Clementine and Kenny apparently seem to be coming to an end with their stories (I don't know every ending unfortunately.) the only other character that I was really interested in these last few episodes was Arvo. In the playthrough I watched, Kenny terrified me through basically the whole finale up until his death. That was different. But I hear that there are nicer endings out there for him. I don't think I want to let go of either of them or their stories even though all signs point to them being finished. Not seeing them again probably will be the case, with the various endings and all.
The other characters that I really like are Christa, Molly, and Lilly. We don't know if they are dead or not so focusing on them wouldn't be too bad either.
So any of them basically.
Then there's the remaining 400 days characters...(plz come back nate plz) But the rest of them are secondary to me in comparison to the ones I mentioned above.
I think it's fair for Telltale Lilly to have her day in the limelight for Season 3 - she has a much more plausible reason for returning than Kenny, and the fact that Kirkman is currently writing his own series detailing what Governor-killer-Lilly is currently doing has sparked my interest in seeing how Lilly has transformed over the last couple of years.
Christa's unresolved fate seems to be a deliberate mystery that will likely be answered in future DLC or Seasons. The same goes for the fate of Arvo and Mike - Bonnie is determinant. And I'd like to see Nate as an antagonist again...
I personally would love to play as Nate as he was so badass and humorous! But I seriously doubt that would happen as he came across too much as a perverted psychopath, it wouldn't go down well with everyone.
Someone like Lee will do for me!
Heh, Mike might be Lee's replacement. Imagine him and his crippled Russian sidekick. :P
That would be funny in a way!
I think it is still a shame that we still didn't get to know much about Mike.
As for Nate coming back I hope so, I think having good characters like him and Eddie in and not bringing them back seems like a waste. I'd say that even though they were only in one episode they are still two of the best non major characters on this game in terms of depth and humour, even better than most of the major characters.
