How was the pizza ice cream choice for you? *ep 5 spoilers*
It was incredibly easy for me to choose Jane.
She won MAJOR brownie points for coming back and helping the group out. WON more brownie points when she saved Clementine out of the ice..
Basically, I like Kenny. But he responds to every obstacle with violence. It was getting annoying to have Kenny calm down every single fucking second. Like seriously, in my playthrough, Clementine falls into ice and all Kenny does is beat the shit out of Arvo. Way to be helpful, Ken. That's not someone you need.
Well, Mike and Bonnie lost all their brownie points when they went with fucking Arvo. Telltale, next time they come up, give me a choice to shoot them. Especially Bonnie.!!
When they were driving the truck, and Kenny kept arguing, I knew it. Right then and there, I had to go with Jane. When he kept putting Jane down and it was his way or the highway, that's it. Kenny to me, was broken. No point in trying to save him. He keeps fucking up, apologizes, and fucks up again. I can't have that anymore. No more Kenny. This "calm Kenny down because he's getting reckless" was getting over-used. At least in my opinion. It happened in Episode 2, Episode 3, Episode 4, and in Episode 5 as well. Rest in peace in Ken. You're better off now.
Jane? When she first started, she seemed WAY TOO pessimistic for Clementine. That kind of attitude just brings you down. I saw that she tried to help.. she's just terrified of losing people. When she came back and saved the group..
She won me over. She's came back for Clementine. She came back because she cares about her survival. Even though one of her fears came true..
LUKE! ... After that beautiful campfire scene.. Luke happened. Rest In Peace.. Probably one of the best constructed scenes of all time in the walking dead game.
I know the baby scene turned her off for many of you, but I had made up my mind already. It doesn't matter if you're a baby or not, if you're in no shape to take of yourself, don't try to take care of someone else. Both of you will end up dying.
I think Kenny was suffering Post Traumatic Stress syndrome. He got depressed every time someone brought up his family, and clung to Alvin Jr. because he wanted the chance to be a dad again. Not saying it's bad, I'm just saying Clementine is not a therapist.
Kenny, he had good intention, but he never lived up to his words. Episodes 2 - 5 mainly focused on Kenny being broken. His overreactions. I wanted someone new. I wanted to be with Jane and Luke. But Luke though
Lukey Luke
So, now that I'm done. How was the Pizza, Ice Cream choice for you? Who did you end up with, and why?
What happens if you let Kenny kill Jane, and find the baby? Do you still have option of going alone?
Comments
I see a lot of threads talking about the same things..
Mods will have some big ass merging to do. Sorry![:( :(](https://community.telltale.com/resources/emoji/frowning.png)
To be honest I think that both of the choices were pretty cheesy and ice cold![:3 :3](https://community.telltale.com/resources/emoji/blush.png)
Yeah... I was shockingly surprised. God damn it Luke, I will drag you out and I will save you no matter what!
Telltale: Lol, no you won't.
I think Tell Tale did good with this Episode, ALL HAIL NICK BRECKON!
He should be left alone to write season 3.
Just him. No one else, Telltale.
The game was treading near dangerous waters like the show did.
I wonder how will they pull off Season 3 with so many alternate choices though?
Shot kenny..
Tears
Angry
Left jane
What happens if you decide to leave her?
Well, Season 3, if Clementine is playable again, hopefully, we will start with either:
Clementine alone with AJ in a warm area.
Clementine, AJ and Jane in Howe's Hardware Store.
Clementine and AJ in Wellington.
Clementine, AJ and Kenny in the snow.
I killed Jane, Psycho Bitch.
Hmm, interesting points, but I didn't feel like I had a choice like that. I tried to keep Jane and Kenny from killing each other. When Kenny had the upperhand and was about to murder Jane, I shot him. If Jane had been about to murder Kenny, I would have shot her. So the choice was made for me based on how the fight went.
The tougher choice was deciding whether to stay with Jane or not after what she did. I decided to stay with Jane because Clem needed all the help she could get ... and I think that Jane was capable of helping, despite her terrible plan that enraged Kenny and didn't prove anything about Kenny. All it proved was that Kenny could get angry enough to kill people who hurt his family. I agree that Kenny seemed broken beyond hope, but I would have rather seen Kenny and Jane go separate ways instead of fight to the death over who would get Clem.
You end up on your own. Clem covers her self and AJ with zombie-goo and marches through the crowd.
*Let Kenny kill Jane
Fixed it :P
I'm conflicted. I wanted Clementine to head to Wellington in hopes of finding Christa, but that would have meant letting Kenny live and I couldn't stand that. And I also can't forgive Jane for her seriously hare-brained idea of provoking Kenny into a deathmatch.
Guess I'll have to go with Clem becoming the new Michonne.
I couldn't bring myself to kill Kenny. And I got the feeling Jane was trying to get Kenny to break.
#FuckJane!
I agree : P .. Luke said he had a pretty awesome time with her!
It's just... so hard. I can't let Kenny kills Jane but also can't shoot Kenny. Finally, I went with Jane but of course, have a different save file and went with Kenny.
People have basic needs. Someone they can trust is one of them.
Even Michonne is like with Rick now, isn't she? Or no? I don't follow the show that much
I find it funny that people were comparing Jane to Michonne and were predicting that she'd return to help the group precisely because of that parallel.
And yeah, by calling Clem "Michonne Jr." I was going for the idea that she'd still have a heart. Christa, who I'd argue was the person who molded her from Lee's adoptive daughter to the tough cookie she is now, was the same way - cynical about groups, but still human enough to care for children.
I went with Jane. However I felt so guilty and cried after I shot Kenny. At least he is with Duck and Katjaa now![:( :(](https://community.telltale.com/resources/emoji/frowning.png)
I don't understand why the hate on Jane though..
Carver said Kenny's a mess
Mike and Bonnie ...
Luke said he just wants to survive..
Jane's not the first person to look after Clem's well-being.
My reaction to a person giving me a "Jane ending save file"
Governor: I don't want it, I don't want it damn it!
So much for the Luke and Kenny build up
I went with Jane. After a whole season of defending him, I just gave up on Kenny. I couldn't go with him if he killed her. He had proven time and again that he couldn't control his anger and, even if Kenny would never hurt Clem or AJ, I also would feel Clem was not truly safe.
I didn't hate Jane until the ending. I chose to go alone, because she made a STUPID DECISION. Honestly, I felt Kenny had to go down in that situation, and was broken up over it. The writing in the previous episodes made me feel like he was gonna snap, but he was really humanized this episode. I was so, so sad, but I thought I had made the right choice. And then... the crying. The baby was alive, and Kenny was dead because of Jane. Why, so she could prove a damn point? What bullshit. I left her.
I regret it now, though. I guess staying with her was smarter, and I should have done it. But really, after seeing all the endings, the Kenny ones seem the most emotional. I should have let him live. I shouldn't have pulled the trigger.
Agree. Episode 3 and 4 were very close to bad. Episodes 1,2 and specially 5 on the other hand. Amazing.
and kenny is a very kind uncle
.
MAGIC!
Agree.
Same. "Pizza or ice cream" my ass.
So, Jane is the psycho?
I really wish Luke had been an option to go with at the end.
Why'd he have to die?![:( :(](https://community.telltale.com/resources/emoji/frowning.png)
Pizza ice cream choice ?
It looks like they replace the ice cream with a small bowl of non-fat yogurt (that nobody asked for ) to make the pizza look more appealing.
This was no choice for me. Kenny was dead for me the moment he threatend to slap Clementine. As for Jane i just qoute Clem: "You made me kill a friend just to prove a point."
Kenny was a friend yeah but he was a broken man and a detriment and a danger to the group.
In the end the advice from "my" Lee was right.
Dont trust anyone.
So I shot Kenny (And was more sad than I thought I would be) and went off alone and let Jane do whatever the f... she wants.
What just baffles me is that Clem was the only sane person in a horde of stupid people.
She even said to people multiple times troughout the episode that they should start to behave like adults.
I think we all should do that. lol
To be perfectly honest, if Kenny had not attempted to kill Jane and said he was going off on his own, then I would've sided with him.
IKR? We have like this beautiful campfire scene... and then.. everything went to shit
I don't get it either..
That was a heck of a tough choice, but I ultimately went with Kenny in my canon play-through as I was loyal to him.
