Season 2 episode 5 is absolute garbage.
- It was never explained why Arvo hid the medicine in the first place.
- How does the Russian group end up getting one fatally wounded and their leader crippled while the main cast just ends up with one leg injury from Luke and one arm injury from Mike? We were slightly bigger in numbers, but far weaker in weapons. Not to mention Luke was mostly hiding and Clem unconscious for a minute.
- Mike, Bonnie [Determinant], and Arvo were complete jerks in the end. Try to steal the car? Take all their supplies? BRING ARVO WITH HIM/THEM??? He shoots Clementine and Bonnie tells them to leave her there to die. Mike tried to be the nice guy but what was the point in trying to take Clementine's gun? Glad to know they went on foot, I hope they die.
- Why did Kenny and Jane drive off in the car without having a clue where to go and when they hate each other? Yea Kenny needed someone to hold AJ but don't you think they could've stayed at the house they were in until she awoke? I wouldn't think walkers were there that fast and I doubt Mike's group would bother coming back.
- Both Jane and Kenny fucked up. Jane should have never lied and Kenny shouldn't have started the fight by trying to tackle Jane. And if Kenny kills Jane the option to kill Kenny afterwards is absolutely weak. He just says, "just do it" and she kills him, then picks up AJ. His death when you protect Jane is much sadder and more fitting. I don't think it's fair that either one had to die in that scenario. I actually think it's better if Jane did leave in episode 4 and didn't come back.
- Still no sign of Christa, and no explanation on how her baby died. Lack of food? Walkers? What's worse, Clem was clueless when Rebecca's water broke, and had no idea what to do during labor. Are we supposed to believe Christa gave birth while Clem was SLEEPING? And that she gave birth to the baby BY HERSELF? Well we'll never know if she doesn't appear in season 3, and I'm betting she will.
- People who stayed loyal to Kenny to the end are ridiculous. I believe the best choice is to stay with AJ at Wellington. To refuse entry and TRY to come back after SEVERAL months is ridiculous. Where would they stay in that time?
- Jane's decision to go back to Howe's is the dumbest of all. It literally defeats the purpose of leaving at the end of episode 3. What if the place was overrun? It would have been pointless.
- The 400 days dlc characters. Yet again none of them are seen. So we have to believe they all just left? What about the others who are not in the group whose fates remain ambiguous? Nate and Eddie for example.
Overall, I think it's safe to say the main character will be AJ in season 3. A timeskip will occur. I doubt we'll see Kenny in season 3, even if you went with him in the end. He might have died during the timespan and stills gives Clem the hat. I am pretty sure she'll end up going back to Wellington afterwards. I'm also sure if she is alone at the end, she'll end up in Wellington with AJ regardless. If you went to Howe's, I believe Jane will get killed by the family and Clem escapes to Wellington with the baby. Either way, I am pretty sure season 3 takes place in Wellington. This will only end up like 400 days DLC and the end of episode 4 in season 1. The multiple choices all end up with the same outcome. And like I said earlier, Christa will definitely be back, taking Kenny's spot as returning cast member.
This episode was so sad, and I wish season three would actually be better and have main characters dying in a more sensible way. All the log cabin members' deaths were outrageous. Carlos and Nick in particular. Feel free to comment.

I respectfully disagree. It had an impact on you, didn't it? An emotional impact? Then the writers did their job, and they did it well. Being stabbed in the back is what Jane originally warned you about, and it happened. Kenny's insanity-induced downfall was foreshadowed the entire season, and it happened. This season did some things wrong, like the 400 days characters... But calling it "Absolute Garbage?"
I don't think you're being fair. You stayed with it up to this point, and are still planning on sticking around for season 3. That means it did its job.
Bonnie is determinant?
No
You're opinion, sir. No Going Back was outstanding.
Aaaaaand there's the buzzkill brigade.
Nah, I'm just shittin'. I thought it was pretty good though, fixed a lot of problems I had with the season as a whole.
You're extraordinarily lucky the downvotes were removed.
I disagree it is only maybe 60% garbage.
Wrong.
Yea I literally made another save file just to kill that bitch. I watched her drown just like Luke did and I was happy about it. Just cover for Luke and don't break the ice in the end.
Just use this. :P
I wonder how shit Vanaman must feel after seeing Telltale butcher all his work.
I think you should rename this thread, as all you're gonna get is hate.
I'm sorry this but this episode may of been depressing as fuk but It is by fr the best episode yet and and it proved to how attached I was to the characters
I kind of agree...
Unfortunately.
True, but the story was far weaker than season 1. It didn't have any deaths which made sense. Characters were just killed off so they wouldn't have to appear again and new ones could be introduced. Christa is the only reason I'll stick to season three so she better come back. Molly and even Lilly would be awesome too.
That baldie looks a bit like Walter White.
Why could that be...?
Hmmm![:D :D](https://community.telltale.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)
Oh it's him!! But I haven't watched this episode yet.
The finale was good, (clementine is alive after all!) the season as a whole don't make any sense for me and i feel that we could get more closure with some characters and storylines.
Yeah, that's just nitpicks and finding a reason to hate.
All I can say about this personal shit is
I covered,but I broke the ice for Luke.That didn't end up well,though.
It's in Season 1 I think
@doodleboy Rate this episode on a 1/10 scale.
6/10. Garbage for TT standards. Every episode was at least a seven prior to this.
I guess you have a point here, but let me clarify on a few things:
They overly exaggerate with fucking emotions by killing important characters with interesting plots. This has nothing to do with Telltale doing their job by making us sad, it's all just a bunch of overreactions and stuff made by Telltale, it could've been better but well.
Wait-- You were happy about Luke dying? Or just happy with Bonnie dying?
I'm pretty sure you missed the part where we find out what happened to Christa's baby.
Clementine says "No... not again... not again..." when Jane says she accidentally killed the baby which is why she was sobbing.
I think Clementine or Christa accidentally killed the baby.
no way i really loved this episode.it was the best
It was Ok to me... I felt like the Kenny/Jane thing was forced, and in my ending I left with Kenny, because at Wellington they said they had too many people so I think that place will fall anytime....
Unless Telltale plans on having us play as a toddler in season 3, there is no way in hell that we're playing as AJ. The game can't make timeskips ahead of the comic on which it is based. The latest volume had a 2 year timeskip, so they do have the possibility of jumping ahead, but nowhere near enough to let us play as AJ.
Also, stupid post is stupid.
1) This doesn't need an explanation, as it's not the least bit important.
2) This is the only point I somewhat agree with. It's not impossible though. As we saw, everyone had taken cover. Mike and Luke got hit. It's improbable, not impossible. They got lucky.
3) Sometimes good people do bad things. They were thinking about themselves, something a lot of people do.
4) You don't know what happened after Clem was shot. Maybe the cabin got overrun.
5) Yes, they both fucked up. Means that they are both human. This is the OPPOSITE of bad writing.
6) Christa might be dead. Ever consider that? Also, who says the baby was ever born? Ever heard of miscarriages?
7) This has nothing to do with the quality of the episode, this is simply your opinion on a player-made choice. Maybe not everyone trusts the people at Wellington? Maybe they don't want to leave Kenny behind?
8) I agree, it's stupid. But some people make stupid decisions. Again, it's what makes the characters human and also makes the writing so amazing.
9) Why wouldn't they leave? The place was getting overrun. Carver was dead. We don't need to run into every single character we've ever seen before. It's a big world you know.
It's hardly butchered. Season 1 is great story on its own. Season 2 may be weaker than season 1, but to call it "butchered" is really going too far. Season 1 also had tons of plotholes/illogical things happening, but no one seems to care.
still waiting today to play it,but surely it can't be anything like episode 4?![:( :(](https://community.telltale.com/resources/emoji/frowning.png)
I wouldn't say it's terrible, but it was disappointing. I tried looking for a walkthrough, couldn't find one and looked up the episode, even still, Kenny and Luke dying was still a shock. That being said, Telltale wasted a lot of potential throughout the series. I feel like we really didn't get a chance to know the cabin group that well, and they just didn't get the development that the Season 1 group did. I really gotta say that Telltale let a lot of people down here.
To be fair, the game is still miles better than the show or the comics, but I agree that they tried so hard to give good and bad sites to every character, and people were coming and leaving constantly that finally you ended up with no attachment at all.
Who said they can't make a timeskip after the comics? Last of Us had a 20 year timeskip with the outbreak still going on so I don't see why walking dead can't do something similar. And I did think about a miscarriage at first, but in this episode there's a choice where Clementine mentions Christa's baby was the first baby she had ever held in her hands, and this is why she feels confident in holding AJ.
Lots of things that you listed aren't flaws, they're things you dislike in the story. Lmao
Because it's Robert Kirkman's choice on how long the outbreak is, never jump far ahead of the source material
STFU pls.
Yay, lets nitpick the fuck out of episode 5 that will make it better for you not the sad thing is, this episode was a huge improvment and yet there is still those claiming it was "terrible" if it was so bad you wouldnt have to nitpick every single con.
