Gotta say, in light of that fact, Clem and her group are looking like pretty awful people in hindsight. Here everyone is chastising Kenny for his treatment of Arvo and yet their tiny group killed an entire settlement full of people so they could escape.

The problem is, Arvo said he could help. It turns out, he was just in a small group trying to survive.
Kenny just beat the shit out of him. Not trying to make good out of a bad situation. That's what why most people disliked Kenny's treatment of Arvo.
Remember, it was Kenny's idea :P
Yeah, but he was one kid. Clem's group caused Carver's entire settlement to be overrun and eaten so they could escape. I'm pretty sure after you've sacrificed that many people so that you can escape, you've crossed the point where you should be quibbling about the rights and wrongs of beating up one kid.
Yeah, but everyone else went along with it.
