how is this gonna work?

ok if you played episode 5 you know we like six different endings but some are similar.

  • Kenny, A.J. and Clem alone
  • Jane and Clem in the hardware store
  • Clem in wellington and
  • Clem and A.J. alone

i'm sure i'm missing some but it seems like we might have at least three to four different versions of the same game on our hands. the question is will it work?

Probably, there will be timeskip, if they stick with Clem. Best guess - she'll end up in Wellington one way or another (if isn't there in first place)

  • They could just start the game where the endings left off, or with a time skip. Everything will probably eventually tie in again at one point.

If Telltale really wants to be complex with this though, they could make these separate paths go on for episodes, so everybody's experience with the seasons is completely different.

New protagonist or time skip. I don't see telltale doing 6 separate beginnings.

  • yeah i figure the endings will tie and come together somehow and telltale doing the different paths thing could work but they seems like way too work for them.

  • yeah or back with jane at hardware store somehow.

  • timeskip could work but we just had one so way would they do that again? a new protagonist doesn't like a very smart idea either. the endings will have to come together at the start of season 3 somehow but the hardware and wellington couldn't possibly tie together. Well telltale did it so hopefully they know what they're doing.

Bro what are you talking about, story wise a new protagonist is the easiest and probably best way to go.

  • no i mean it doesn't seem smart because i don't know why they would set up so much just to leave Clem. That and getting a whole new cast, designing new characters and all that just doesn't seem smart to me.

  • It isn't. Should they move on to a new protagonist? yes, but they can't do it now, with everything out in the open, like a house with no washing machine.

  • Yeah I don't think they'll get new people because it's just not smart but you're right there's so many unanswered questions that I think Clem is here to stay. Which I like.
