I found this sound file while doing my Left 4 dead mod... Its from episode 5!
I will be looking for more files like this one! But it might be a bit as there are a lot of sounds
EDIT: it has come to my attention that this sound plays when you choose to go and grab Luke instead of cover him, however the ending of the sound file where Luke is shivering is not played

Yeah, he was getting out to donate to ALS, but we left before he did... Luke is still alive I know it!

Pretty much, but he makes that weird noise you make when you're really cold. But in the game files this sound was named "NV_Luke_Pull_out_of_Ice" So...

Apparently there's a "Luke_Pull_Out_of_Ice" file in the game. Meaning he was supposed to live, but it was scrapped.

I'm guessing it was originally going to be Kenny vs. Luke at the end, but it was too out of character for Luke, so they changed it.
He just went to far with the Ice Bucket Challenge.
I think that's what happened. The last part of that sound file definitely sounds like Luke's out of the water and trying to shake off the chills.
In the death scene, that last part is muted and only the beginning part plays, the part that can also pass for Luke drowning.
Knowing Telltale he'd probably just freeze to death a few minutes later anyway.
Fuck... I just wish that he grew gills and lived.
