So she got shot in an area above the heart, a clean shot through, and she survived with no bandages or anything? It was pretty close range too. Then she resumed to life her arm just fine to drive, shoot, and push jane/kenny around. huh?

Not the first time she's been given extreme strength or vitality. Pushing walkers around everywhere, hacking off arms in two chops. So yeah.
Even if it was pretty much only a peashooter she was shot with, she was a KID, with the physique of a kid.
People always take that Dick Tracy BS about being shot in the shoulder isn't that big of a deal - judging from the blood stain, she was hit squarely at the shoulder joint where you have muscles, tendons and quite large blood vessels. She shouldn't have been able to move her arm short of being shot by a soft air gun, and I would expect the joint to be messed up. Oh, and don't get me started on the bleeding... Dear god, she had a hole straight through her, and that possible took a piece of the shoulder blade as well.
Sooo... No. Sure, you can both survive and act with a gunshot wound, but you will definitely not be as peachy without any holes in your body.
not everything in video games make sense. I am just glad she didn't die. When people pick a game apart they tend to find a lot of faults and things that don't make sense in the storyplot. its just better to play a game and enjoy what was.

She wasn't shot above the heart... she got shot right next to her shoulder. Your heart is actually near the center of your chest, the whole concept where its on the right side of your body is just wrong.
Well in the book Carl got shot in the face. Taking half his face off and hes still alive. Im going to let this one slide.
He did write it, but I think he got Pierre Shorette to write the ending.

I liked the Kenny ending and the Clementine by herself ending, but I hated the Jane ending.
It's one thing letting things slide and another ignoring them. A gunshot wound in the shoulder would have incapaciteted Clem for quite some time - heck I expected her to wake up in an impromptu operation! Every move would hurt, she wouldn't be able to use her arm... And then we have infections. I really, really hope Kenny ran a red hot iron bar through her shoulder to clean that wound since a) gunshot wounds are always dirty, and b) we see her nine days later looking pretty fine.

I guess cause it went straight through her body is the reason my she lived. if it stayed then that would be a problem. I like to think Jane and Kenny fixed her up somehow with their meds while she was unconscious.
