Freaked out for a second

edited August 2014 in The Walking Dead

For a minute after clem was shot and passed out, and the flash back to Lee started.. I was about to lose it.
Was starting to think the season was a dream....somehow.(would have been one hell of a dream.)

Then I realized like 2 years passed (correct me if I'm wrong). ..bummer

What a roller coaster this episode was, had some of the most amusing moments in the whole season. I played a few of the outcomes would have been nice to end on a semi positive note.

Anyway great job telltale. Would have never thought I would be playing this game and hooked on it, considering I never got past the first two episodes of the TV show.

Have to admit that thought crossed my mind too. The game play was a little longer for me so I was starting to think "I have to be close to the end".
There are a couple of times again when you have a choice of telling a character they may see a dead family member again.

I believe you can tell Kenny that at the beginning of the game, and luke?

  • That scene was great. I was so surprised when the screen faded out and then "Alive Inside" played. I wasn't sure what was going to happen since that was always the Clem and Lee together theme. The thought that it was a dream crossed my mind, but that would be a pretty big ripoff. I also thought it was some sort of extended death scene, but that seemed unlikely. With all the references to Lee, and then discussion with Kenny, it made sense we would have a scene like that.

The hardest part was replaying that section of season one from Clem's perspective, all while knowing what would happen. I couldn't ask Lee to tell Clem that he wouldn't leave her, since that would end up being impossible.

  • Same here. I think everyone was like "FUCK YEAH LEE'S BACK!" Then was like "oh shit no he's really dead."

  • I was liking the lee clem scene since it seemed like lee was there talking to us to wake up and survive for his sake in my opinion it was lees angel in that scene talking to us from past memories

  • I wasn't getting my achievements on steam so I didn't really know how far I was.

Lots of scenes where I thought... "This better not be the fucking ending yet"

I think Luke makes a toast that everyone will meet again. You can tell Kenny also, but that's like telling him to commit suicide.

  • I thought she died at first.

But then I was kind of hoping that everything had been a really twisted nightmare, as unlikely as I knew it was. It made sense in a way, though: that she would dream of people doing terrible things, and of Kenny losing it, seeing as not only was Duck bitten, but at that point in season 1 she had witnessed people close to her do terrible things to others in the group. (Lily with Carley/Doug and Kenny with Larry.) Not to mention they had recently escaped cannibals... all that's got to have an effect on the psyche of a nine year old.

But of course, that was just wishful thinking. What I wouldn't give to help Clem get her Lee back.

  • Yeah I was having a issue on the ps3.
The screen faded went black, was having long loading screens. If the game ended there
With her death and that flashback, I wouldn't complain ..much.

  • I thought she may have died... that part made me hate Arvo instantly.

  • I thought that maybe TellTale came to their senses and realized how stupid killing Lee off was, and tried to change things in an albeit far fetched way... Then I realized they just wanted to bring more pain to us by helping remind us he died... Actually it was nice to think of him still watching over Clem. It was left open for people to believe it was a simple dream, or him coming through from the afterlife

  • I still hate Arvo. That kid is a tool.

  • I thought it was a dream as well when that first happened, and I was extremely pissed off. That would be the worst cliché ending ever to a great game.

  • I knew it was just a flashback. Thought they were going to end it with her dying and then a flashback. : )
