Ok. Now, i think that after Ep.5, Kenny is a hero. You see, if you let Kenny kill Jane and forgave Kenny, you head to Wellington with the Alvin Junior. He even races you to the top of a hill where he sees Wellington. They are given supplies and told that they are at capacity, so they should check back later. Kenny then BEGS to atleast let Clem and AJ into Wellington and even gives Clem his hat and tells her to give it to AJ once he grows up. So, i think Kenny redeemed himself in the end. And if you choose to shoot him to prevent him killing Jane, he say "Do it." I think he knew he was going crazy.
But if he had been successful in killing lee, or if him refusing to save clem meant she died, he would never be able to do that.
We can't ignore everything he's done when that's exactly what we're discussing.

If you shoot him, he also says that Clem did the right thing. This moment just broke me.
Well, it did not break me because i was so "disgusted" by that option that i did not even bother to hover over it XD.
So it turns out that Kenny could die. My theory was kind of true then. You got the option to kill him.
He wasn't a hero when he punched Jane and tried to murder her.
He didn't know she was lying when she did it. She said it was an accident, and he attacked her and tried to kill her.
That's not heroism.
He didn't die in episode 5, he may die later, but not now.
