S1 VS. S2 = Pointless Comparing
After S2's ending, I gotta say; both seasons made me feel sad. Lee's sacrifise and death in S1 and Kenny's sacrifise in S2 (Determinant) A lotta people out there trying to making this S1 VS. S2 bullshit. I mean... why? What's the point? They're both different. Personally, I can't say;
''I like this season! This season better than this!''
I LOVE BOTH! Both of these endings from S1 and S2 made you cry, right? Then we're done talking here. Both seasons succeeded their own achivements. Maybe you enjoyed S2 more than S1 or the opposite doesn't matter. That was your journey and don't let some shitbird ruining your experience. But don't yell and type in every discussion that;
''This season is nothing! Don't play!''
It's annoying as Ben. Also I heard some of the people says this;
''Choices matters, huh? What a lie.''
Same thing happened in S1 too;
Cutting off the arm or not Lee dies anyway.
Doesn't matter if you saved Carley or Doug, they'll end up dead later.
Whether robbing that Station Wagon or not, The Stranger still comes after you and kidnaps Clementine.
What I mean is, every game has flaws. S1 and S2 had their own flaws. Hell, of course I wanted some choices matter like saving Lee. But in the end, that's what we got. Both of the seasons stroy was great. These seasons gave you different perspectives. Different situations, they had hard choices on thier own. No need to rush it. Of course we're gonna crtiisize, we'll say the points in the game we don't like. That's how things work. But doing this;
''THIS SEASON WAS A COMPLETE TRASH!''
''I WASTED MY MONEY ON THIS SHIT!''
THIS SEASON IS NOTHING COMPARING S1!''
''FUCK YOU TELLTALE!''
''I'M OMID!''
''TELLTALE SUCKS!''
That's just wrong. That's not critisizing. That's one of the worst disrespectful towards to the people working hours, months, years for giving you this game. You're throwing thier hard work in a second just saying these. Don't do these again. It's not cool and only proves that you're just some shitbird. #DontBeAShitbird
Long story short; both of the seasons were great. And I can't wait the S3. I hope we can play as Clementine again. For the last time.

Season 1 > Season 2
Season 2E5 > Season 1E5
But that's just my personal opinion.
Kinda sad that the forum will turn into Season 1 vs Season 2 war and Kenny vs Jane vs fuck both war, but it was expected.
It's expected, yes. But like; if you look carefully you'll think like something bad is happening. If you love Luke, you're Cluke supporter. If you like Kenny, then you're just some another silly Kenny fan. I get it people really attached to these characters. But it's just a game after all. They're attacking each other like there's a life and death situation. It's just wrong.
Agree with the Season 2 finale being better. It really was intense. I'm genuinely surprised it's getting as mixed reviews as it is. Upsetting too, because I can tell Telltale went all out with this one.
I only agree that there were a lot of things left open as in: what was the deal with Arvo hiding the supplies, or what happened to people at the lake, what happened to Christa, how did Clem survive for 9 days without food (I mean yeah you can last pretty long without food, but are you really able to move at reasonable pace?)... That didn't really happen in season 1, everything was tied together in that.
But I don't mind, since it was really intense and these questions came up AFTER I finished the episode, not DURING because of all the tension and action. So I'm cool with that.
Agreed.
If anything, choice matters more in season 2, with 5 different endings. We didn't get that in season 1.
sure, but all of those endings are connected to choices done within the final ten minutes. none of the OTHER choices actually matter.
True. But the same thing could be said for season 1, and pretty much any other "choice" based game. It's impossible to make a truly dynamic, ever branching storyline in a video game. There are simply too many variables.
I wish all episodes were just like the last episode.
Yea it is pointless comparing them, season was way better.
