That has no relevance to how Kenny acts or acted... Mike and crew were leaving out of fear of Kenny. Which was ultimately justified by the ending of the episode. My point is that the person didn't matter, had it been Jane or Mike or Bonnie or ANYONE. If they were the indirect cause of AJ's death, he would have flipped out on them and either beaten them half to death or killed them. The fact that you bring up the Mike/Arvo thing just shows that you are pretty irrational yourself.

There is no logic to what you just said. Say I was holding a baby and I fell down and the baby was accidentally killed. You'd think it logical to put me to death for it?
I do go on the "if"s, because you dont seem to get that Kenny is a men of free will. He wanted to go to the Wellington and he did it. He only tried to convince the rest of the group (i know that he wasnt doing it in an ellegant way), because he know he wouldn't get there alone. I dont think he felt as a part of the group really, because it wasn't his friends except Clem. They met in a very strange circumstances, not making them bond, but fight from the day 1. Fight for Clems approval, fight for the right, fight for leadership. Because this is Kennys character all the way - I decide something, Im doing it. He repaired the truck, and it was his fucking right to use it to go whetever he wanted. We dont know what happened after Clem was shot, so Jane ended up with Kenny in the car, but i can assume one thing - despite the motives, they both loved Clem and wanted the best for her.
In my opinion, like someone said before me, there was not right or wrong choice between them both, but i just think that i know Kenny, and it was his normal behaviour, his character like from the previous season. And Jane? She's adapting to the situation, i dont think we can trust her, also, we dont really know if all of the things she's been saying were real. She didnt had any problem to lie about the baby, maybe she lied about herself too. We dont and wont have any proof wether thing she said were real.
As for Kenny, after being with him through his worst, i know that good could come too.
That was just an initial goal because of the circumstances. They had no other direction. No idea of anywhere else they had heard was safe. S… moreo their goal was to go to Wellington to see if it was true. Kenny was oblivious to the WHOLE GROUP when they had decided that it wasn't safe to attempt to go to Wellington in the cold without food and supplies. Also you're not just going off on some "if" and "but" journey. If only the Zombie Apocalypse hadn't happened they'd all be happy and normal.
I can say that your ego is pretty big, and while fighting for your "right" you resemble Kenny to me. Discrediting me saying i cant read, im irrational, just because i see things my way. Hey guy, everyone can have their own opinion. No matter if you dont like smileys, or you thing your right is the only one.
Also, i told you to chill out, because you seem to be pretty tensed about Jane/Kenny situation.

So again your stance on Kenny is because he's consistent? You're right. He consistently acts without thinking. Consistently blows up, and consistently goes against his word.

agree completely sure him killing Jane was way too extreme BUT in my opinion
Jane is even more crazier because she pushed him and manipulated them just to prove a fucking point
At least i know what to expect. And with Jane? What if she left me first time she had her occasion (im saying after Clem and her being alone)? I know Kenny would've die for Clem, even if he's crazy and shit. And Jane? Dont think so - in the end, all she wants is to survive and live, at no matter what cost (cost of Kennys life, of AJ life and others).
She took care of Clem because she saw something in her, and thought she can make her her sister, but the way she wanted it. Like a little Jane copy. And that's really sad.
So again your stance on Kenny is because he's consistent? You're right. He consistently acts without thinking. Consistently blows up, and consistently goes against his word.
I realised right away Jane hid the baby to prove a point, I also knew how Kenny was going to react because Kenny is Kenny, this made Jane a complete moron in my eyes, if she wants to commit suicide just to show me something I already knew, then go right ahead. Kenny is mah bro.
Im thinking about what Im saying, really. And forced opinion is like a forced fart - it becomes shit.
And, basing on the post title, you thought that i would side with Jane or something? Because its clearly implying that I will be Team Mustache here.

Why would she have came back previously? She also listened to me when I instructed her to save Sarah. She's risked her life previously for people and Clem.
Jane? Dont think so - in the end, all she wants is to survive and live, at no matter what cost (cost of Kennys life, of AJ life and others).
Kenny was going to be a problem to anyone and everyone he was around, risking his own or everyone else's life. She also put AJ out of the cold, in a car, away from walkers.
She took care of Clem because she saw something in her, and thought she can make her her sister, but the way she wanted it. Like a little Jane copy. And that's really sad.
Kenny took care of Clem because he wanted to replace his Duck/family with her... He even called her Duck at the dinner table... how is that not equally or even more sad?

But the simple fact is he DID NOT KNOW. Jane isn't a "serial baby killer" or anything. There is no evidence to even suggest that she would have killed the baby. I know Kenny BELIEVES she killed the baby, but he doesn't KNOW she killed the baby. Which is why his actions aren't justified.
The fact that he even believes that she did it proves his insanity. Anyone who knows Jane well enough as he should would know that she would never do that. Hell, when it came to my Clementine and Jane, Jane wore her heart on her sleeve about ten times as often as Clem did.

If it had been Clementine instead of AJ, and Lee instead of Kenny, I can assure you one thing...
Lee would have tried to killed Jane, just like Kenny did, and it is normal, you just don't go around doing what Jane did, playing with fire for the sake of it and a distorted sense of superiority. She wanted Kenny to get mad with her to prove she was superior or something, that kind of people does nothing but to endanger everybody else.
I'm with Kenny.
You don't know this. Lee loved Clementine yes. But he was also rational and didn't let his anger get the best of him consistently. If he knew that it was an accident that caused Clementine's death I don't think he'd try to kill someone over it.

Kenny's mental state has definitely deteriorated during season 2, especially episode 5. He has become unsafe to be around when provoked or in a group argument. However, he has been there for Clementine since the start and (as you find out if you decide to let him kill Jane and go to Wellington with him) will do anything to protect her and AJ. All he wanted was safety for Clem and AJ; he was willing to say goodbye to the only two people left in the world who he cared about and venture off into the unknown by himself in order for them to receive safety and shelter at Wellington. Kenny has been through absolute hell and while no, it does not excuse his actions in any way and does not mean it's "okay" for him to flip out and attack or even try to kill people, I genuinely believe that he tries to do what is the best thing for the people he cares about. And he cares about Clem and AJ more than anything.
Jane however, made such a moronic choice at the end of the episode that I absolutely couldn't stand it. I know that Kenny has made many idiotic and stupid choices in his time and goes into a blind rage where he doesn't think straight, but what Jane did was unacceptable... As Clem pointed out, she endangered the baby and got someone KILLED just because she was trying to prove a point. Anything could've happened to AJ, she left him alone in the freezing cold with god knows how many walkers around! And as Jane said when talking about Kenny "you'll see him for what he truly is" she deliberately lied and allowed Kenny to believe that the baby he had promised to protect had died whilst in her care, despite knowing how close to breaking Kenny already was. All this, just to prove a point and convince Clementine that she was right. I know that it was Kenny who started the fight, and that Jane did try and back down/calm him, but realistically? She knew all along that he was going to flip, yet still decided to lie and provoke him. And anyway, she does then proceed to try and gouge his eyes (or eye!) out. I had agreed with Jane pretty much all season up to that point and to be honest, if she hadn't of made the stupid decision of lying to them I would've definitely sided with her. At the end of the day though, I can't have someone who endangers everyone in the group simply because they want to prove that they're right, and lying is just the worst. If you're going to be with someone in a world like this, you have to know that they will be honest and tell the truth to you and as far as I can recall, Kenny hasn't lied to Clem once.
Going off with the baby by yourself and walking through a hord of walkers seemed like a stupid idea at the time too, the baby could start crying or kick off at any point and as we saw in episode 3/4, the consequences of that can be devastating. I decided to let Kenny live and went with him to Wellington, then stayed at Wellington because that is what he desperately wanted and had worked so hard to get for Clementine and AJ. I'm still not sure I'm happy with this ending, however I didn't like either of the endings with Jane - the group seemed dodgy, especially the man with the gun, and if you turn them away Clem is cold and threatening towards them, which I don't want my Clementine to become. The option of leaving both Jane and Kenny and going off by yourself with the baby seemed stupid and suicidal, and Wellington I just don't know about.... I wish there was a way to save both Kenny and Jane though, neither of them deserved to die...
This episode was absolutely phenomenal, my favorite episode so far out of both season 1 and 2. Well done and thank you telltale! 10/10, So pumped for s3!
This is all just my opinion, I respect that people will completely disagree and feel differently!:))

I'm with Kenny.
Kenny is not the only one who lost people he loved...
What about Clem? She is a little girl who lost her parents, who saw people killed by other people or eaten by walkers, and above all, she has to kill Lee or leave him to death.
I love Kenny too but please, don't try to justify his action just because he's your favourite character.
Like I said, whilst Kenny has gone through hell, so have many other people and it in no way excuses his actions or makes what he does "okay." Maybe I am trying to justify his actions in some way, because while I know that they're not right, neither were Jane's or anyone elses. I'm just saying that I think Kenny does what he thinks is best for the ones he loves in the heat of the moment.

To be honest I don't think it's rational to make someone believe that the baby died to begin with just to get a reaction out of someone. I think the point is both sides could be seen at fault but Jane is definitely the one who orchestrated all of this. I think the reason she did do it was because she thought you'd be on her side and to be honest I was thinking she was planning on getting Kenny killed so she could have Clementine to herself.
You don't know this. Lee loved Clementine yes. But he was also rational and didn't let his anger get the best of him consistently. If he knew that it was an accident that caused Clementine's death I don't think he'd try to kill someone over it.
You'd think you know Lee, but he still can brutally strangle the stranger to death.
You'd think you know Arvo and then he shoots you in the shoulder.
You'd think you know Mike and then he steals all your supplies and tries to flee.
Jane was not in any way sane anymore. She never was. She shot a guy's dick off. And I don't say he didn't deserve it, but it was totally gruesome, and she didn't even twitch.
Kenny might be seriously disturbed by now, but Jane?
The fact that he even believes that she did it proves his insanity. Anyone who knows Jane well enough as he should would know that she would… more never do that. Hell, when it came to my Clementine and Jane, Jane wore her heart on her sleeve about ten times as often as Clem did.
Miklaus, he's not my favourite character, im not like Kennys love, Kennys life, Kennys god, i just think that he was the only one appropriate person to take care of Clem after his fight with Jane.

He thought she sacrificed the baby. That's why he tried to kill her. How would you react?so you would rather side with a manipulative psychopath? Everyone has their own opinion in the end.
I don't agree. Kenny has always struggled to control his temper (and his mouth), being angry at Jane for losing AJ is fine, but he was tryin… moreg to kill her.
I do feel sorry for Kenny, the blokes been though hell, but that doesn't excuse trying to kill someone.
It made him some-what combustible when he learned that a love one had gone, causing the group to fear and dislike Kenny's actions and clouding his intentions.
Yeah, but the main difference to Jane is that Kenny just went on to attach to other people with quite the ease, which, honestly, just shows how much more Jane is affected by losing people. She found a way to keep her sanity, but Kenny on the other hand just jumped right into new relationships to make him forget the ones he lost. That's exactly the strategy that drove him mad in the end.
I honestly can't see, especially in the light that people were kinda "replacable" for Kenny, that he was affected by it more. He just ran out of people to care for in the end.

If you saved Kenny you knew that he had some control of his anger, he even goes to such lengths as to try and convince Clementine and AJ to leave him so that they can live in the protection of Wellington.

How is that any control if he wants them to get away from him BECAUSE he can't control his anger.
The Kenny-goes-off-alone was a bullshit ending anyway, because the Kenny they introduced in 2 seasons wouldn't do that shit. He would give a big "Fuck You!" to Wellington and try his luck elsewhere. It was forced to make him some sort of selfless martyr to please the Kenny fans (including the dev) after he was a fucking maniac that lost it when killing Jane. It's absolutely far-fetched and unrealistic that he would behave this way at this point.

But since Kenny believed it, he KNEW it wasn't an accident. Why do you think he was calling her a 'baby killer'?

Maybe I am trying to justify his actions in some way, because while I know that they're not right, neither were Jane's or anyone elses. I'm just saying that I think Kenny does what he thinks is best for the ones he loves in the heat of the moment.
Ok, I just wanted to share it, because that's a good thread too, just like this.
What about when he said he would kill Vernon just becaused he asked to take Clementine from him ?
I know it's determinant, but it's the only option to say "No."
Jane wasn't the sanest person either.
She was even worse.
Miklaus, he's not my favourite character, im not like Kennys love, Kennys life, Kennys god, i just think that he was the only one appropriate person to take care of Clem after his fight with Jane.
The impact of losing ones you love is not the same for everyone, for Kenny it affected him greatly.
Correct. Jane even stopped to care for anybody after she lost her sister because it was unbearable for her. What did Kenny do?
He thought she sacrificed the baby. That's why he tried to kill her. How would you react?so you would rather side with a manipulative psychopath? Everyone has their own opinion in the end.
