“Will There Be A Season 3?” The Walking Dead (Discussion)
The reason I ask this is because Season One was amazing! Season Two hasn’t ended yet but it’s shaping up to be a great season. I can’t just compare the two, not just yet due to one being incomplete and the other being completed. Season one shared tears and really emotional-heart-breaking scenes. Season Two has heart-breaking scenes too but doesn’t have the same affection Season One delivered. However the dog’s death scene really got to me. It was short and sweet but got a message across to the players.
“Will there be a Season 3: The Walking Dead by Tell-tale Games, I’m curious to whether there will be or not.”
I feel that a Season 3 could work, but nobody can be for sure at the moment. Since there is no proof that our main character survives until the end of Season 2. If Clementine does disappear, where would they start? Also, I feel that without Clementine in Season 3 it would make Tell-tale games jobs easier. Since they could start a whole new story in a whole new location around the world. Honestly, just think about the potential and the amount of comics and books that The Walking Dead has generated over the years of its legacy…
So… will there be a Season 3? What do you guys think?

There hasn't been any announcement from Telltale so we don't know yet. Fingers crossed that we do get a 3rd season.
I hope there's a season 3 and if there is I don't think I could play it without clementine.
Only bad TV shows run for 1 or 2 seasons.
Is TWD a bad game? No? Then expect multiple more seasons.
If anything bad happens to Clementine in this season I don't think I could play through season 1 or 2 again either. We've had enough sadness and loss as TWD fans.
Hopefully it'll come/be announced after Game Of Thrones. That will give Telltale a good amount of time to come up with something super awesome.
I guess it depends on the ending of Season 2. If Clem dies, then no, there won't be a third Season. If she's alive, there's a greater chance.
Yeah and besides if they decide to kill her off in episode 5 it'll show they have no creativity with plot, i'm loving the game so far though
Also, if she dies.. they can still make another one. But in my opinion, they shouldn't do that...
This series generates too much money to kill off. Of course they're going to milk this and make many more seasons. That's the way the market works silly.
The only way we would be able to infer that a third season is coming would be at the end of the fifth episode, I think. For season one, we had enough of a clue when we saw Clementine sitting on the log with the gun and noticing the two mysterious figures on the hill.
The Walking Dead is their most successful game. I highly doubt they'll make only 2 seasons.
If Clem lives which she will, then Telltale wouldn't stop at 2 seasons while the content is still good. But it will be a while until they announce a 3rd season because of the 2 stupid new games yet to be released.
Clementine is basically Telltale's poster girl at this point. I doubt they're done with her.
Telltale have potentials to keep the story going...meaning...one gets lost and make new group...and again gets lost and meet another new group...
I feel like that's the pathway they are taking.
After completing The Walking Dead Season 2 and The Wolf Among Us, Telltale is gonna shift their focus to Game of Thrones and Tales from the borderlands. Then, We'll know if there'll be a new season of TWD and TWAU or not. I surely hope so.
Don't worry guys there will be a 3rd season I just know it!
Hopefully, there will be a Season 3. What Telltale has created for everyone is truly an amazing game series, with some of the best storytelling and collection of characters ever put into a game. It would be a shame for them to just give it up only after two Seasons. The purpose since the very beginning of The Walking Dead has been to get Clementine to a safer place. Until that happens, then it would seem reasonable to see the game series end. This is all just my opinion, though. Telltale can do whatever they want.
