Hadn't tried that outcome. Did 2 playthroughs, one in which I didn't give a fuck about the ice breaking under me, I just kept smacking - and in the other I became the dumb bitch and walked to Luke to see what happened then.
Shoulda let Bonnie drown, that cunt deserves to die slow.
Indeed. Previously he was either the bland nice guy (1-2) or a complete retard (3-4). They actually made him a person in the latest episode… more. I think Pierre wanted to make Luke fallible in ep3, but he made him too fallible without any redeeming qualities. He did that here too, but Breckon helped roll that back and couple it with the nice guy nature to make an actual character.
What Bonnie does after Clem gets shot depends on how you tried to save Luke. If you cover him she tells Mike to just leave Clem, but if you go to save Luke then Bonnie seems genuinely sad about Clem and yells at Mike for wanting to leave her. She still leaves either way though, probably because they are afraid of what Kenny will do.
The way Bonnie yelled "Just leave her!" makes me think otherwise. If I ever see them again and they want to explain themselves, they better … morehave some worth hearing excuses.
Also, I have to be in the mood that day to take anyone's crap. Until we know for sure, I'll believe what I saw. They left me to die, wounded.
I enjoyed 1 and 2 well enough but 3 and 4 were serious let downs. The finale was really good though. I agree with everything you said in the op, and pretty much everything you've said up until this point, the point I've read to. Very great job by Telltale.
Well, the episode was better than all the previous ones multiplied by 20. I'm not even trying to look for flaws now. I did enough of that throughout this season.
I think the best ending is the one with Kenny, Clem and AJ heading to Wellington. Not only because that proved Kenny was still forgivable (even though he was broken and had those awful rage moments), but even because he showed all his human heart when he convinced the woman guarding the camp to accept Clementine and the baby, "sacrificing" himself to find them a shelter.
It was dense of emotions. Kenny proved that, at the end of the day, he was still the one who truly loved Clementine, after Lee's death.
Yes, but... Jane?
Jane was an idiot. She had already taken for granted that Kenny was the unsavable mad broken man with a dangerous behaviour. Did she even realize how much he suffered until that moment? Why were she going on arguing with him, instead of trying to calm him down? Oh, yes, for her personal proud. Maybe if she was a bit more emphatic towards Kenny, things could have gone a lot more better.
Someone came up with the theory that Jane was just engineering a scenario where it would be okay got her to kill Kenny and take Clementine under her wing. I wouldn't doubt it at this point.

It sucks that everyone we met in both seasons dies or goes missing (except for the baby and clementine). As for Kenny or Jane he/she 'll most likely die in season 3 because their statuses are determinant. And that dream sequence with Lee, man I wish it was real but then I realized that it would be a huge anti-climax if that was the case. One more thing, Jane mentioned that she was forcing her sister to march through hell before abandoning her, I guess that was supposed to prepare you to put Kenny out of his misery since he was not having fun being alive.
It's impressive Telltale was able to pull themselves together in just an episode after messing around for a full season. I'm now excited for more TWDG like before.

I bawled my eyes out when I chose that option. The dark atmosphere combined with Dave Fennoy's soothing voice saying that foreshadowing line… more was simply too much to bear after everything that happened to Lee and Clementine over these two seasons.
Nick Breckon, in my eyes, you've completely fixed the season.
My feels meter is broken. I've shed only a few tears in my gaming career (Season 1 obviously, Mass Effect 3 (never played the original endings) Beyond Two Souls). But this. Wow. The connections to season 1, seeing Lee, the death and mayhem. I need some time. Just wow. This finale was a glorious feels trip.

My. Clementine.
I loved Kenny, but it hurt me so much to see him like this...I shot him even though I suspected Jane had set up the whole thing. And then I… more left Jane alone.
At least that's what I did on my "me" playthrough. I have a couple other games running so I can see what the other decisions do.
Of course now I can't play because the game won't connect to the servers...Same thing happened when Episode 4 got released, had to wait several hours just to be able to get past the title screen.
He was the unsavable, mad, broken man that Jane called him out to be. But she's no better - what did she honestly expect by pretending to have killed a baby just so she can rile up Kenny?

Jane will take Kenny's post as the biggest hypocrite on earth.
She was as demented as Kenny, but at least he's honest about and you can count on him when it matters. Jane showed flashes of loyalty, but she's perfectly capable of leaving someone to die.

The different endings gave me the impression that Clem's story is over. Hopefully not. I will be disappointed in Telltale if they just included so much story branching because they don't have to follow it.
Exactly. You simply don't prod the bull. She was pushing his buttons to make him go off, so she could get rid of him. Lying about killing the damn baby? That's disgusting and although Kenny's methods may have been somewhat... explosive, all he wanted was to get Clem and AJ to safety. Now that I've come on the forum I feel a bit bad about denying him that, but I'm with him to the end, just as he was for Lee.
Exactly how I feel. If I didn't buy the season pass I wouldn't even have played this episode because after 3 and 4 there was no way I'd have purchased it, but in the end I'm really glad I did play it. Episodes 3 and 4 still sucked, but 5 was a very good conclusion to a really shoddy season. The hype has returned.
Thanks.

I still enjoyed both episodes for the most part, but they had too many flaws and the writting decisions were terrible. I mean, Sarah's second death was a joke. So was Nick's role after EP. 2. The illusion of choice evidently missing was what made Amid The Ruins less enjoyable. I did like the character development of some, though.

I feel like fucking horse shit. What the actual fuck, Telltale? I've never cried that much in my whole life. I shot Kenny and I feel... So, so fucking shit...

I'm not sure why the original poster is speaking so highly of the different endings. None of them felt particularly satisfying, and if there is going to be a season 3 (is that confirmed or not?), then we all know how things are going to turn out: No matter which ending you got, you end up in the same place.
It's quite possible to have Clem as the protagonist in season 3, but they'll need to jump ahead several months, if not a couple years (which would match up with the comics' timeline), if only to cover up the plotholes from the multiple endings.

I cried like a little girl when Kenny told me to go to Wellington, it showed me how much he cared, how much he ALWAYS cared. That's why I refused to leave him. I am SO PROUD of My Clementine!!!
I left with Kenny, but if you choose to stay in Wellington that scene is even sadder. Let's hope he can pull himself together now that he's seen how much My Clementine cares about him.
See what I did there?
The Lee flashback; that was brutal. It was definitely a nice touch. Seeing the gang back together, although at one of their toughest times, was touching. Kenny's different speeches also were heart stringers.
There is going to be a season 3, that has been announced. As to the endings, I thought, the two ones I tried, they were well done. In regards to season 3, we don't even know if Clementine will be the center of the story. So I'd hold back on the "same place" comment. Wayyyy to early to tell.

This. This completely.
We need a new fuck wallstreet gif...

I think we all could use it! That was rough.
Yeah. What made you so sad?

What is wrong with you? It's a video game discussion and you're insulting me and being incredibly rude. Grow up.
You can't claim self defense when Kenny attacked first.
Bonnie only yells leave her if you "cover luke"
not defending her at all, as i made that choice but still

I cried twice on this episode. It was too much even for me.
Yep. I can't forgive Jane what she did. She could have stopped it at any point by saying that the baby was still alive.

I think season two was better than one ._.
Clem: Fuck Arvo.
Jane: Fuck Arvo.
Kenny: Fuck Arvo.
AJ: Fuck Arvo.
Yeah, I only forgave her because I figured Clem's chances of survival were better with her than without her. My Clem was pretty close with her too.
Lee's flashback killed me.
I'm curious, did anyone think Season 2 was a dream all along? A friend of mine felt that way. Trolltale strikes again.
So, we can say she is our Clementine.
I would be disappointed if TTG took the easy way out.
