Option 1 = Gill is adopted
Option 2 = Patricia did the same thing as Rebecca (ehuehueheuhe)
Option 3 = He's crazy and wanna use these 2
And did Patricia said that she was his mom anyway? I don't remeber
They looked sinister to me. The way the kid complimented Clementines hat reminded me of Michelle and how he had a gun though I believe they said they were unarmed.
Well, I thought we could build a nice community here
The guy had a gun which he should for obvious reasons, I mean why were Jane and Clem even shocked? It's a zombie apocalypse, I would've been shocked if he was unarmed.
Kid could've been adopted or it could've been a Lee/Clementine situation.
The kid liked my hat so he's cool.
Yeah, the man had a gun, but that doesn't mean he's bad. Who wouldn't have a gun just in case when you come to a strange place with unknown people who could kill you immediately? And of course, it's a zombie apocalypse. Also, he had a family. Well, it's not exactly confirmed, but at least people that he cares about. Of course you should have a gun with you. You have a boy to protect. Just. Like. Lee.
I let them coming in because iin every case that's what My Clementine would have done. If people need help, she'll give her. And stop talking about Randy's gun, just and idiot would go around without one in a ZA. My Clementine started something. Hopefully,a good community from the ashes of a bad one.
i think we will meet that family in all endings this might be the start of a new group and duck was brought up a lot this season from episode 1 to 5 clementine says duck was her friend and she didn't have alot that she could trust this boy is mature kinda like clementine but don't know his moralities
Your point is? pretty much everyone has weapons on them nowadays. They need it for protection. Clem has a gun on her, so did Luke, etc. They didn't storm the castle robbing and murdering whomever just to loot their bodies and take their things.

I let them in for two reasons, although it did take me a while to decide.
Firstly I couldn't see Clem turning them away, my Clem is toughening up, she watched Carvers death...but she hasn't reached the point where she turns people away yet. And she's having an affect on Jane, because Jane went with Clem's choice.
But mostly, for some strange reason, the child reminded me of Duck. Yes I know there is one very obvious difference (Well two, Ducks dead) and it may just have been a combination of Duck being talked about recent in game and the fact here was another child boy, but it still reminded me. Given what Clem had just done to get this storyline, the kid reminding me even vaguely of Duck meant Clem could never turn him away.
I am worried it was a bad decision though, though given the way the games work if they attack now, they'd have attacked anyway soo...
Right, everyone will die, but will Tell Tale be able to attach us emotionally to another character when that happens? I am sorry, but if Cl… moreem had died in this season I am not sure I care enough for Jane to follow after her.
There were so many characters in this season, that died so quickly I could not get attached. Look at Rebecca. When I shot her I it did not bother me. What gripped me was that I had Clem do it.
One of the reasons is because I never liked Rebecca. She was an annoyance and a hindrance to the group.
If you didn't let them in, then they would've just came back and attacked you anyways, if they really were bad. Might as well keep them close by for a while.
is it just me or did you get a carver feel from that guy plus once he got inside it was as though he was looking for something or someone maybe he was sent out to find people and got delayed trying to get back he questions if that is your place he might be tidied to carver in some way

An interpretation I heard was that the dad send to be just as protectiv as Kenny was of his family. Thus it was implying that the dad would become just another Kenny and start the whole Kenny vs Jane thing again. More reason I prefer the Kenny ending
The problem is, there's too many ways to read into it.
The "Is this your place?" question could be purely innocent. Or it could be 'because when I left here, another guy was in charge, and I'm wondering if you had anything to do with the fact he doesn't seem to be here now'.
He did seem to move in pretty quickly whilst Patricia thanked Jane, but then that also could have been a game design choice just so Clem could see his gun. Too many ways you could read it.
Though generally, if you aren't sure, assume bad with TWD,

To be honest I thought it was really creepy. Watched the video on youtube. First you see the guy has a gun, and the music changes, and then the way the kid said "cool hat" it almost felt like he was saying "cool hat. Can't wait to take it from you". Also how often do people show up, and turn out to be good anyways?
When does he say this? I went back and watched a youtube video of the ending and all I saw was that Jane says "They don't look armed" when she saw them from a distance. He doesn't say anything about being unarmed
I don't think I have a Shane attitude, if I did I would say screw the baby and leave it in the cold. The fact is that there was very little personal interaction with many of these characters. In the first season we had some down time, like at the motel or on the train, where we could talk and learn about each other.
However, this season moved at a much different pace. I am still trying to understand what this season was about. What was the overriding goal? Getting to Wellington? Finding somewhere to have the baby?

I don't know about you all, but I certainly did not trust the family or the "father". He said they weren't armed and he said that AFTER I no… moreticed that he had his hand behind his back. In the world of the Walking Dead, you don't trust anyone when the first thing out of thier mouth is a lie. Besides, after eveything that has happened, I really could not trust anyone anymore. Especially one who has lied. Plus something about the tone of his voice and something about him did not sit right with me. He pushed the woman he had with him. In games, my instincts about people are usualy good. In season 3, this guy will be trouble. I knew that it would be better off if he was away. I just hope no more big groups are formed. Jane is right, big groups are bound to fall apart.
I'm not sure if they are trustworthy. I do know that I'm not going to give up on Clementine's humanity and taking a chance on people. Although I do find a few things the guy says suspect.
I've just finished the episode, And DAMN, THAT WAS INTENSE!
But as I've already stated in another thread, They rub me the wrong way. I thought maybe we could establish a group, But after i saw his hidden gun, I became suspicious. And if you actually chose to convince them to leave, They tell you that they're pretty dangerous. Something is really off about them.
The thing about that hat was my only concern. I soooo got the "I want it" vibe from that kid.
Can you just imagine next season starting some place else, and then you run in to that family with the kid wearing Clem's hat?!
Madafakas would be so dead!

How is that relevant to the thread entitled ' TO ALL THE PEOPLE THAT LET THE FAMILY IN'?
We get it, you chose Kenny. Bring it up in the abundance of threads about his magic mustache that poops unicorn eggs, not one that is utterly irrelevant.
I took that as showing that he could've shot them or held them up at gunpoint and robbed them but instead asked to come in. He doesn't even pull out the gun when you refuse him. Although that intense music didn't help.
still they only have one gun the wife doesn't have one so if he trys anything my clementine will fill him with so much lead he will be able to use his dick as a pencil

In a world filled with zombies, I'd be more suspicious if a person didn't have a gun on them.
She didn't. Which is odd.
So he was lying.
Well, I thought we could build a nice community here

TeamLuke all the way ;-;

Wait, what family are you talking about?
He said he was unarmed. That's my point.
Okay...
They're in the Jane ending
the family if clementine go's with jane back to carves community that was over ran by walkers

Of course you won't get attached if you have a Shane attitude, Expecting all characters to be hardcore badass and ruthless isn't a good idea

The father is shady as fuck tbh
Good point. I hope they really expand Clementine's story for every ending esp this one.
I don't recall him saying anything about being armed or not.
Jane remarked that they don't seemed to be armed, but that's about it.
Or which accounts for the kid's skin tone.
IDK I went with Kenny instead
I'm not sure if they are trustworthy. I do know that I'm not going to give up on Clementine's humanity and taking a chance on people. Although I do find a few things the guy says suspect.
Nope.
They're giving my a weird vibe.

That's where Lee kept his weapon. Should people have distrusted Lee if he came to the gate with Clementine?
The thing about that hat was my only concern. I soooo got the "I want it" vibe from that kid.
