I believe, as a hunch that we will get a new protagonist, perhaps an old character from s1 (Christa/Lilly, as we havent had a female protagonist yet) And that protagonist will find Clem at some point.
Thing is, In Season 1 We played as Lee, He protected Clemintine. Season 2 It's Clem with the baby/Kenny/Jane. We won't play as Jane or Kenny that's for sure. We also can't play as a baby. So we either play as Clem again or they create a new character somehwere else. Which in my opinion is not a great idea.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I'd love to have Christa back, but not as a protagonist. I would like to interact with her as Clem again.
