Since i started this discussion, i should have bring up my own theories and ideas for the season 3.
Well, here goes: My season 3 plot idea.
(If you made the descision to stay at Wellington)
10 years later.
Clementine and Alvin Jr have grown up in saftey with the people of Wellington.
There arent so many zombies left.
Clem is now 21 and Alvin Jr is 10.
Different survivor groups starting their own factions and societys.
You take the role as Clem once again.
Your tough experience and loyalty to the Wellington people have led you to advance in ranks.
Lead the group, take care of Alvin Jr.
Its a start..

multiple beginnings
Last time someone said "Let's get creative" they took it pretty far and things got...."messy"
But anyways on the season 3 ideas: New character, His story will build up within the season and he takes care of Clementine but until the very end, the player will learn that he Murdered his kids but wants to redeem himself by taking care of Clementine. Unless it could be the other way around you play as Clementine and the guardian turns out to be a kid murder
Yes. But after watching every different ending of episode 5. I think its possible to fix season 3 to start in Wellington. I'm willing to tell you how.

TT will have this huge writers collab only for episode 1 for the multiple beginnings and episode 1 will end same way despite on which beginning you had.
As long as Breckon writes it it's gonna be cool. I really hope we'll continue Clem's story, but I don't feel so sure about that.
Xandroz keep in mind that there's only one rule that Telltale has to obey and that is they can't move ahead of comicbook timeline, so Clem can be max 13-14 years old until comicbook moves ahead in time...
I think that the episode 1 could start in Wellington, getting to know people Clem made friends with, getting to know people that have their own agenda (like someone crazy who lost his child and he wants to take AJ from Clem). Ending with walkers overrunning Wellington, the winter doesn't last forever and it can just take a series of unfortunate events where someone dies without anyone noticing biting multiple people and all hell breaks lose. Episode 2 would continue with Clem, AJ and her new friends escaping with knowing the bad guy/s got away too.
We play as some kind of protagonist who meets a bunch of new and interesting characters and the majority of them die. The end.
I'd like to say Howe's Hardware was rebuild and it just goes to shit for some reason

If Clementine chooses to leave with Kenny and AJ, they say to check back in a month so I have a feeling either way that it will definetely start off at the wellington with or without Kenny/Jane, I say Jane because I haven't played out the ending with her yet, I don't know what happens and whether they go to the wellington or somewhere else.
That would make a good season 3, with some more twists.
Actual Edward action in some form. He's too good of a character to waste

I posted this elsewhere, but I think it would be neat if Clementine's story continued with a new protagonist drawing upon the "home movie" cut-scene in the Season 2, Episode 5 trailer. The one where we see Clementine talking on the phone with her mom about discovering the baby raccoons nesting in her treehouse. I think it would be cool if Season 3 opened with someone finding that video camcorder and viewing that tape. And I think it would be ideal if it was someone who already knows Clementine and came looking for her...say, another family member? Her uncle perhaps? And that could be the protagonist for Season 3.
Meanwhile, the storyline of Clementine (which has always been interwoven through Season 1, Season 2, and now Season 3) could continue as we control this person who's trying to find her. That way, the early parts of the Season 3 story could focus on everything this other family member experiences in rejoining Clementine, including crossing paths with returning characters like Christa, Bonnie, Mike, Arvo (and, eventually Kenny or Jane, depending on how Season 2 ended in everyone's play-thru). Then, by Episode 3 or 4, the new protagonist and Clementine could meet up. And, from there, it would be a matter of this relative doing everything in their power to keep her safe (much like Lee and Kenny did in the first two seasons)...only, they'd also be continually surprised at just how capable and resilient Clementine has become.
To me, I think a story arc like that would pay huge dividends. Playing another character seeking to reunite with Clementine would immediately pull in everyone who's invested so much emotional energy in keeping her safe through the first two seasons. It could also satisfy both camps (i.e., those who want to continue experiencing Clementine's story, and those who also want to play someone else as the controllable character). Additionally, it might be interesting if the Season 3 even allowed you to switch controllable characters between the relative and Clementine somewhere around midway...or at least give you some moments where you get to take control of Clementine again...even if only briefly before switching back for the final confrontation/showdown with that Season's antagonist.
But that's just my two cents,

Okay, here it goes.
Option 1. [If your choice is to stay with Jane]
After Jane, Clem and Alvin Jr stayed at Carvers former place, a group from Wellington arrives on mission to look for more food. Jane and Clem, is also running low. and talks their way in to Wellington. (the passing by survivors at the end, may be dead at this point, or they are still alive and joins Wellington aswell)
Option 2. [If your choice makes you end up alone with Alvin Jr]
After going throu the pack of zombies, Clem and Alvin Jr found the Wellington society and joins them.
Option 3. [If your choice was to stay with Kenny after getting refused into Wellington]
Kenny, you and Alvin Jr walks away from Wellington, not far away. After some 6 month, Kenny and Clementine decide to go back to Wellington to try to get access again. (Quoting Edith the wellington door guard. -"If you're in the area, check back in a few months, we might be accepting people then".)
Shout out if i missed something.

Not bad, actually the first idea I could live with without directly continuing Clem's story and playing as her. As long as we truly do get to her and I'd hope to get to play as her once again.
