Who wanted to shoot Arvo?

Seriously though, guy was a little fucking shitbird like Kenny said. I knew we couldn't trust him, he turned Mike and Bonnie on us!

  • Not me, I still like him.

  • I certainly did.

  • I wanted to shoot Arvo from the moment Clem and Jane first met him. If Jane had shot him, then he wouldn't have been able to go back to his group and the shoot-out wouldn't have happened.

And I pretty much wanted to shoot him all the way through episode 5. Kept waiting for him to lead the group into a trap.

  • Yeah, I kind of saw where he was coming from. He's still in my top 10 characters list for me.

I wanted to kill him. That fucking skinny bastard!
Nobody shoots Clem! And gets away with it!

  • he turned Mike and Bonnie on us!

That was Kenny, they couldn't handle Kenny's PTSD.

  • shoot him in his kneecaps and leave to freeze to death?

  • If I had been in there, I'd have shot him after the ambush. Or at least left him behind.

It was clear as day that he was 100% hostile to the group, even those who had tried to be kind to him. Kenny beating him up wasn't what started it.

He might have turned Mike on us, but I expected nothing else from Bonnie. She was a weak person. Not evil, but weak to the bone, and unwilling or unable to stand up for what's right. She'd follow literally anybody and back up any cause if only it meant she could live her miserable life for a little longer.

  • You probably don't want to see my Top Ten Character's list, it would be considered odd around these parts.

  • Here's hoping Kenny and Jane made him suffer.

  • I just don't understand how he could be in your top ten list. He shot Clementine, even if you treated him well and tried to talk to him and didn't take his things, at least that's what I did. If anybody deserved to be shot, I could understand him wanting to shoot Kenny, after what he did to him. My Clementine didn't try to intentionally hurt him or steal, and I still get shot.

  • They were probably just afraid of what would happen when Kenny found out. I understand why they left. I wouldn't leave Kenny, but i wouldn't force people to stay with him because of me.

  • Just look at the flowers Arvo...

  • I get where he was coming from but he fucked up.

  • Yeah I wanted to let kenny beat his ass up after the opening firefight, but popping him right there would be a tad too much.
After that though, when he ran off on the ice and every single time he gave Clementine a dirty look despite her mourning over Luke's death, i wanted to kill him.

I was hoping Mike would beat him to a pulp when he shot Clementine.
A Carver-sized treatment would do him well.

  • Are you by any chance Russian? If you are, it'll be highly understandable. If not,

    HUH???

  • Warning: Language

I would've taken his glasses and made him play Where's Waldo. Out in the cold, on a single platform of ice, slowly melting away, surrounded by ice platforms with zombies on them, slowly approaching him (for some reason).

FUCK. YOU. ARVO. RIGHT. IN. THE. ASS.

  • They all ran away, Kenny says so if you ask where Bonnie and Mike are.

Honestly, I felt Arvo would harm Clementine if he had the chance the moment he started giving her death glares after she shot Natasha. I could take a picture each time he gave her one, it was a lot, and it instantly reminded me of Lilly giving Carley death glares.

I think he was blinded by grief and paranoia at that point. Nothing Clem could have said or done would have prevented him from shooting her, just like there was nothing that could be done to prevent Lilly from shooting someone.

Kenny was the one bullying him, there's no reason for him to shoot Clem. It just adds insult to injury that my Clem never stole from him, stood up to Kenny for him, and quietly handed the gun to Mike, and Arvo still shot her. He hated Clem for some irrational reason. He even gives her the death glare when she was freezing to death after trying to help Luke, before Kenny even laid a finger on him. It's like he really wanted her dead.

I remember I was reading your theory about staying in Wellington or leaving with Kenny, I guess you were half right.

About Arvo though, I'm glad I told Mike to let Kenny beat him.

  • Me, I'd pop him the moment I saw him. If Mike and Bonnie or whoever would say otherwise, fuck em' shoot them too.

  • I hated Arvo the whole time I wanted to kill him before he even shot me and I wished Kenny beat him to death.

  • I wanted Clementine to be a pacifist, but Arvo was the closest I've come to wanting her to pull the trigger on another human. Arvo was a total asshole. I can see why he was an asshole, but he did not redeem himself at all.

Letting Kenny kill Jane didn't matter so much I feel, as in terms of their inner demons I think they're both as bad as each other. Plus, Kenny knew about Wellington, which was kind of ideal for Clementine and AJ, and this sacrifice redeemed him I think.
