Why the fuck would you...

Shoot Kenny! I was NOT expecting to see only about 40% sparing him! Why? I want some explaining...

What I want to know is how is this possible unless people rewinded I guess.

    Survivalism: Shot Kenny?

    Shot Kenny - 69.2%

Looked away/Didn't pick up the gun - 30.8

Friendship: In the end, who are you with?

With AJ and Kenny - 36.8%

    Alone with AJ - 23.1%

With AJ at Wellington - 16.5%

With AJ, Jane and the family - 13.6%

With AJ and Jane - 10%

  • Well my reason was I wanted to put old Ken out of his misery since I thought he would be done after the baby was dead, if I knew the baby was still alive I would have let him kill Jane's stupid ass. :P

  • Telltale made him the threat during the choice..This confused a lot of players..Even myself,Im a huge kenny fan but I thought about shooting him since he was the threat(but I didnt)..You get panniced, think that kenny is the threat and shoot him..Nobody remembers that jane actually stabbed kenny at the stomach..If jane was the threat during the choice, more people would go with Kenny..And the status are changing everyday..

I had to stop the fight in some way.

I felt like Kenny was a broken man and I couldn't let him satisfy himself with stabbing a woman through the chest. That would only make him more blood-thirsty.

Also, if you hear what Kenny says when he's dying, he actually thanks Clem for shooting him and that she shouldn't apologize for what she did.

On another note, I didn't go with Jane. I liked her and Kenny equally through the entirety of Season 2 (well, the parts they were in) but I couldn't forgive her for what she made me do and wanted her to feel the pain I was feeling.

  • Because he was freaking the fuck out and trying to murder someone and i don't put up with that

  • For me, I saw Kenny as broken. Throughout every episode of the season (or almost every) it is foreshadowed that Kenny was on the verge of completely snapping. What Jane, while I in no way think it was 100% the right thing to do, was show Clem truly just what he was capable of. Yes, it is true, Kenny seems fine in his endings, but unless you can see in the future there is no way anyone could have known that. So I shot Kenny. The world had robbed him of too much and I felt that it was finally time for him to rest and be reunited with his family. I loved my ending and how bittersweet it was, though I'd love to hear other peoples' opinions on the matter :)

  • But really...only 13 fucking percent stayed with the bearded mann

    Because everybody is different

  • But I already knew that Aj was alive...Jane told us she just wanted to mess with him

  • A lot of players are willing to put down an old friend for some new survivalist. I mean, I prefer survival over humanity anyway, but it surprises me how quickly players chose to shoot Kenny over letting him kill Jane. Most of them didn't even hesitate.

  • Well I shot Kenny because I've been waiting for the chance to remove him from my playthrough ever since about s1e2.

If the game had made it possible to ditch Kenny and go with Team Bike and Arvo (and I should like Jane too - she would be the only reason not to go, if possible), I would've taken it - though I would have liked it better if I could've killed Kenny before we left.
Hell if the game had made it possible to leave with Jane when she left from the platform place in episode 4 I would have done that in a heartbeat.

I was sad when Kenny showed up in s2e2 and this entire season was tainted by his being in it. Season 3 can only be better, because season 3 will have no Kenny.

  • I'm surprised so many stayed with Kenny instead of Wellington. That guy was too dangerous, and offered redemption by letting them go to Wellington! Staying with Kenny seems like a really unnatural decision for Clem to make, everyone's entitled to their own opinion though.

  • She tells you that after the pizza and ice cream choice, I didn't know the baby was still alive before the pizza and ice cream choice.
