I went alone. I think she sees clem too much as the sjster that she left on that building, and here's her second chance.
Clementine knew kenny was a ticking bomb, but to pretend a baby is dead? At that point i was done with her. She was even the one to say give it up when clem tried to smash through the ice to get to luke.
But, i shot kenny to save her. Does jane deserve to die.... No.....but she made me kill kenny.
She needed to bring resolution to the conflict. It wasn't going to end well. Kenny was like Lily, just on the edge of killing Jane. She needed to demonstrate right then and there how far gone Kenny was. She needed to bring the the threat into the light so it could be dealt with one way or another.
You could argue Kenny latched on to Clem like Duck. And to the baby like boat. By the way both Kenny and Jane care about Clem. Both characters have showed the capacity for selfishness and selflessness.
I don't understand it either. The Wellington ending just shows what a great guy Kenny still is, deep, deep inside. Lee wouldn't have done an… moreything else, but people just need reasons to keep hating on Kenny without reason, it seems.
And it's funny how everyone says Jane is saner.
She's not! The woman was completley nuts, way more than Kenny ever was. She talks about her dead sister all the time, and obviously wants Clem to take Jamie's role now.
She has manipulated her, lied to her and left them when they needed her the most.
Jane fans that say Kenny only cares about himself should really reconsider their point of view. Kenny cares about noone but himself and Clementine and AJ.
Jane cares about noone but herself. Not even about Clem. Jane left AJ for dead, I'm sure she would have gladly left him there if he hadn't screamed.
She doesn't care about Clem. She cared about Jamie. And to her, Clem is now Jamie.
She didn't need to do that because I already understood that Kenny's dangerous. I know what she was trying to do but there frankly was no need. In the end however it should not have got as far for Kenny to kill her. May Kenny rest in peace.

You understood that he was dangerous and you would be comfortable being near him waiting for him to explode? Deal with it as soon as humanly possible and increase your odds of survival. If Kenny snapped when she was prepared for it and she only survives on account of Clem shooting Kenny imagine how quickly it would have ended if she didn't see it coming,

She sent him over the edge into insanity to prove a point? Totally cool, right? And yeah, she very much wanted him dead. Clem can try to get her to back down once the fight goes outside, but she shoves Clem away and brandishes her knife at Kenny. Jane was just as much in the wrong as Ken was, and wanted him dead almost as much as he wanted her dead.
She didn't want him dead, she wouldn't have sheathed the knife during the confrontation if she did. She pushed his buttons to demonstrate on… morece and for all that Kenny had lost control. Kenny was going to snap like that eventually, the same way Lily snapped and shot Carley/Doug.

She put her knife away and backed up. Kenny charged. She pushed Clem to get her out of the figurative line of fire. She couldn't have a child between her and a madman.

Kenny accidentally hits Clem if she interferes with Arvo. Being hurt accidentally is still being hurt.
I'm not sure whether he would ever snap and intentionally hurt Clem or AJ or not.
But he's dangerous to be around.
I agree with you that Jane is no Lee. She's not as dangerous to Clem as Kenny was when he was angry about Arvo or Sarita, but that stunt she pulled with AJ was way out of line and dangerous.
I hate Jane. I never liked her. So I really hope she doesn't turn out to be "another Lee" for Clem, because thats the worst thing that could… more happen to her. Kenny, though dangerous at times, would never hurt Clem or AJ. He practically begs Wellington to take her in.
I'm sorry but I wish there was an option to shoot Jane myself.

I don't have the right to tell you youre wrong, because it obviously is a personal opinion. But I disagree with it nontheless.
Also, if you get between them and try to hold Jane back, she does the same thing. And then swings her machete at him, with which she tried to gut him earlier.
You guys disagree with me but you're not really giving good reasons to why I'm wrong, you're just arguing to why you don't like Jane in comp… morearison. What further solidifies my point is that if you shoot Kenny he thanks you and admits to being out of control, and hell, he even admits it if you don't shoot him. It just shows that he would have rather died than be proven wrong.
Also, I don't understand how people get so angry at Jane for tricking the both of them. Sure, it may have been a bit unorthodox, but it's not like she tried to murder Kenny like he did to her. Also, several times when you try to break them up during the fight, he violently shoves you aside so he can continue to try to beat the shit out of Jane like a madman; that alone made me lose hope in him as a character.
Of course she swings her knife at him - he was already on the attack and she needed to defend herself. He's twice her size and he was hellbent on killing her.

They are almost the same size, and Jane brought deadly weapons into it by pulling her machete.
Of course, she couldn't have known that it would escalate as much as it did, but I just can't understand why she didn't just tell Kenny where AJ was/that he was alive. I know I wouldn't have sacrificed my life to prove a point to a little girl that I don't even know for a week.
And Kenny would have stopped. He is broken, but taking away the one thing of a broken man that keeps him going, and see what happens. He thought Jane destroyed his last hope on earth, and that made him completley snap for a second. He says himself that he lost control and gained it back only when it already was too late.
Kenny wouldn't have killed Jane if she had told him the truth. He would have told Clem to go see if it's true, and then told Jane to piss off.

He wasn't listening to a word anybody was saying. I think it's just plain wishful thinking that he could have been talked down by anyone. Sure once she was dead and he wasn't angry anymore he was more open to discussion but hindsight is 20-20 and it was too late for that.
Ignore the immorality of him trying to kill Jane all you want it doesn't change the fact that Kenny was wrong. Even if Jane was wrong, Kenny would have been more wrong.

Well you don't exactly get the option to just leave him now do you.
"I see real potential in her character to become a new 'Lee' to Clem."
I couldn't agree more, let's hope Telltale follows up with that during Season 3.

If you play your cards with Mike and Bonnie right you can.
Dangerous and absolutely necessary. Kenny needed to be confronted while it was still an option - meaning before he could kill Jane without warning.
True you get the option too but you don't actually leave with them because Arvo shoots you.
