Challenge to Find a Legit Complaint in The Plot
I just finished so I am a little juiced on adrenaline but I gotta say what a great episode. Now with every episode there are things I wished turned out differently but unlike many of you I don't confuse that with complaining about the game. If you do have a complaint about the storyline, instead of creating your own annoying thread please post below and I will make sure to respond to your complaint. Just to get a few of the common ones of the bat:
Lukes Death was cheap : That is the point! If you watch the Walking Dead (and probably if you read the comics) the important people die from freak accidents or from humans, not from zombies. Look at Herschel/ Andria (sp?) from the show. . .in this world its other people you have to be worried about.
Characters Acted Out of Character at times: This one I could see being a complaint arising so might as well tackle it now. Most specific examples are Mike and Bonnie just ditching Clem to steal the car after Mike shows compassion for Arvo. Once again thats the point of this game. You need to constantly put trust in people that you don't know. . .that could just be putting on an act. Hence, the closing scene (if you are with Jane . . .)
Alright so lets hear em' might not respond right away but give me your best shot and I will tell you why you're wrong . . .

Well, I thought Luke's death was a good one, WAY BETTER than Nick or Sarah's, as for characters acting out of character, this I think mostly applies to Kenny and how the episode portrays Kenny when you let him kill Jane or kill him, again I think you should be more open to honest criticism, because this episode wasn't perfect.
Honestly, what the fuck was going through Mike and Bonnie's heads! I was like "What the fuck?!"
Ah I see. Mine was about the favoritism towards Kenny..
Yours was about plot holes. Still similar though
What, are you kidding?
Jane, whose whole character is based around survivalism, decides that the best course of action is to force an 11-year-old girl who can't drive to floor it through a bunch of zombies and a lot of crashed cars? And then her plan is to purposefully antagonize a man she believes to be a violent lunatic? This is survivalism?
Oh, and Clem can't shoot Arvo first, even when he's pointing a gun at her. That's a problem.
Where's my 400 Days importance? Is there going to be a 400 Days sequel DLC for S2?
To be fair, Kenny was the one who started with the personal insults. He tells Jane how she's a nobody who cares about no one and no one cares about, which would've especially hurt because she lost her sister and we know that she was warming up to Luke, and clearly appreciated it if Clem tells her that Luke really cared about her.
All cabin group characters were swept aside
You're never given the chance to say you full agree with the others that Kenny is unstable if you believe so
This was one of my biggest problems with Season 2. I loved 400 Days, and honestly thought that it was intended to serve as an introduction to characters who would reappear in Season 2. Sadly, TTG thought that Bonnie was the only character worth bringing back, and instead decided to introduce 7 brand new characters at once.
I just don't understand why they did that. Vince, Shel, Wyatt, and Russel were great characters. I wanted to see them as supporting characters throughout Season 2. The 5 second cameos they get in Episode 3 are embarrassing. They deserved better than that.
Force her to drive? It was a moment of panic. She just drove essentially a straight line across the bridge. Seems pretty realistic actually.
And her purposefully antagonizing was too prove a point, which she was right! Kenny was too unstable. Jane said she did it for Clem. And she did. Clem being with kenny is a liability. So yes it was survivalism.
It was a standoff. I don't think anyones Clem would shoot Arvo just for pointing a gun. I agree I would have shot him but in that situation it would have seemed a bit rash.
The key point here is that it was a DLC, meaning not everyone played it. They did a good job of balancing it by having Bonnie in the storyline the entire time. Obviously, we all would have liked more ties to 400 days but like I said not every player of S2 played 400 days. It was supposed to be an optional game.
They say they only have enough formula for 1 day and if you go with Jane a 9 days later message appears as they Howe's. That baby went hungry for eight days.
You spent a full 3 episodes with the majority of the cabin group. . .how on earth is that being swept aside?
There are AT LEAST 3 chances you get to say to Jane/ or Kenny himself about his sanity.
But it's always a half hearted maybe you're right, it's then dropped and Jane and whoever you talked to go on believing you are Kenny's BFF.
I hear you. Doesn't change how I feel, though. TTG should have made 400 Days more worthwhile. They really dropped the ball by not doing so.
