WHY THE F**K 400 DAYS DLC

I say ... 400 days was only to introduce bonnie and make her the main character for season 2 ( or side character).... apart from that i dont see any importance of 400 days ... what do u think?

  • Not everyone got the DLC.
And they figured Bonnie's inclusion was enough.

Sides lots of variables to handle especially if the characters weren't being used all the time.

  • Its was its own episode with its own charcaters away from clem for a change. I never expected it to be more than that. Thats why it was a DLC and not an official episode

I'm with you. I knew it was something pretty dumb since it was announced and the scope seemed too ambitious for its own good. I loved playing more TWD episodes, but I knew it wasn't going to amount to much and the content was lacking. It was like playing a part 1 and not getting a part 2. Nothing was answered nor accomplished overall. Kind of disappointing, but whatever, Jane is the best new character of the season anyway.

Yes, but TTG persistently told us that we should play 400 days prior to playing Season Two -- which means the choices from 400 days were supposed to have an impact on Season Two (though it didn't matter too much in the end).

Edit: I hope that some of the 400 days characters are at Wellington (Wyatt, Nate, Vince, and Eddie), otherwise 400 days was merely a quick cash-in from Season One's success.

  • whats the point of choosing different options in 400 days .... finally we end up with bonnie in season 2 and her character unchanged ?

  • they never had any impact .... TTG lied to us ? o.O

  • 400 days was kind of a money grabber. If they would've made it only about Bonnie, and how she ended up in Carver's camp (like we saw) it would've been nice.IM guessing telltale didn't know themselves how they were going to make 400 days matter when they released it,other than Carver's camp.

  • Why are people still so mad about this. Let it go..The dlc was nice with interesting characters and stories beside the main one. You should be happier about it.

  • It really didn't end up mattering at all and besides Bonnie all the other characters didn't even play a part in the season which is a shame because I wanted to see what happened with Russell and of course Eddie would have been a nice inclusion to season 2. The only thing I got out of 400 days is that Bonnie is a hopeless romantic and her aversion for men in S2E5 didn't seem too out of place because of it.

  • intresting is not the thing we are talking about..... its about how the hell it affects season 2 .... TTG is known for creating different scenarios for different options but in 400 days whatever u do u end up with bonnie and she too turned out to be an asshole

  • TTG are constantly changing the stories, so there's a chance the main cast (playable characters) of 400 days were originally meant to be regulars in Season Two. If that's the case, then the developers should have mentioned that the choices were non-canon in the end -- instead of the constant tweets telling us we needed to play 400 days before playing Season Two.

I remember them saying that 400 days would bridge the gap between S1 and S2 and that the decisions you make in 400 days will be carried over to S2. The ONLY thing that 400 days did to S2 was give us some very brief and poor cameo appearances from the characters we played as who went with Tavia.

For the characters who actually featured, Bonnie, the only connection she had to 400 days which came up was in ep4 when Mike asks her if she was bit but she says that they're just old scars which she tries to hide, these are obviously from her drug addiction days. As for Tavia who comes across as a leader and good person in 400 days has no connection to it whatsoever in S2 and she is just a robot working for Carver.

So they might as well of told us that 400 days was going to just be something completely separate and have no relevance whatsoever to the main story, because that's what happened.

  • They were ministories with some pretty big decisions but those don't even matter since we didn't even bump into this characters other than the cameo. If they wanted to do a separate DLC they should have just stuck with one 1.30 hour long story which would have been more satisfying. A lot of people were eagerly waiting for some of their choices in 400 days to come into play and since they didn't what's the point of having these 10 minute long look into a bunch of random characters' lives. It wasn't worth the 5$

  • i wonder those characters will ever have a continuation or their status will be unknown forever in walking dead wiki

  • In fact bonnie was lame character in 400 days ... i thought she would never deserve a chance to be in season 2 .... but she came and betrayed us ... that fucking bitch!!!!!!!!!!

  • Maybe it would've been better if instead of Arvo and his group, it was Eddie and the 400 days characters who didn't leave with Tavia?

  • It doesn't affect the story. It just a matter of opinion if you are disappointed about it or not. They surely had potention, but i think we had enough good character in this season.

  • No it's not just a matter opinion!! I'm sick of people saying that.

  • Then they would have all died in the shootout, rendering the DLC useless if they all died.

  • I think when Jane and Clem went back to Howe's they should have found the other 400 days people, either as remnants of the community, or scavengers if they didn't come with Tavia. That would have been cool.

But Telltale could rewrite how the shootout goes. At the end of EP4, it looked like everyone other than Clem would get killed. Then in EP5, everyone was spread out and still battling.

  • I'm sorry if you feel like this. And i'm just tired of the complaints about the dlc.

  • Because it refrences Camp Carver and things. Because in Ep 2 we find out. Wow. That camp that our characters went to was this guys?

  • Yeah, I'm kinda disappointed about that too. I miss Vince.

  • I'm just mad that out of all the awesome characters from that dlc it had to be fucking Bonnie.

  • yeah ... totally hated bonnie.... in e2 she was badass... in e3 she was like "i feel guilty ,,, i am sad blah blah blah..... in e5 she was a fucking bitch " i didnt mean to clem ,,, iam sorry " piece of shit
