I Agree, the ending episode was supreme,so many funny moments mixed with memories and great pacing,Telltale didn't rush, they just told a beautiful end to Clem's story it felt like,i didn't abandon Kenny no matter what, weve been together since the season 1,i know his flaws, but i always trusted him, even if i had to agree too much on his side,it was worth it,a great ending, walking away from Wellington together, brilliant job Telltale!
I did like this episode except for the last minute of it, how it abruptly ended but I guess it's supposed to leave us wanting for Season 3.
However, one big thing that I want answered:
400 Days. I saw the one guy, the long haired-glasses guy (its been a while since I played, but I recognized his face in Carver's camp.) But I am curious to what happened to the rest of them? As far as I remember, Carver wasn't one of the characters from 400 days, but it is plausible that some of them banded together with him to create this camp. Im assuming from some of the stories, that Bonnie is related to someone from the 400 days saga. Either way, I hope that Telltale does one of two things: either they release another Epilogue episode to show us what happened, or it plays out in Season 3. I'd really like to come across the Asian Inmate, or how the hippie guy ended up with Carver after abandoning his friend... how any of them left their little "camp" and where they all ended up. Thoughts?
-edit-
been replaying it. So, I don't know what happened to Leland, although he's eerily like Carver, maybe he changes his name/ways? But given Bonnie's nature in her part, I assume her drug habit past and whatnot, is what makes her skitish and why she tries to flee.
I also realised, or atleast think this is true, that Vince the Asian Inmate is the gay lover that Nick shoots on the bridge. If so, short reunion.
Gonna play the other three now. I am predicting that Russel is Mike in some variation... but i doubt it. Idk.
-edit-
Was Shel the same woman that you meet back in Howe at the end of the episode?
-edit-
ok so i finished them all over again. Tricia (the black lady guarding the walkie talkies in the warehouse) is the one who comes and scoops up the survivors. this mustve been pre-carver, because they're actually looking for people instead of killing them and taking their stuff. However, on the end of this particular playthrough, Russel and Wyatt did not join the group, only Shel, Becca, Bonnie and Vince went along. (on a seperate playthrough, Vince and Russel didnt go, but Wyatt did instead.) It always seems unless I purposely pick choices im not comfortable with, that theres always two who dont tag along. Russel primarily being one of the two. Anyway, i made the connection for Bonnie (the most obvious) and im pretty solid that Vince was the lover and that Wyatt was one of the random people who lived at Howe. But other than that, nothing on the others. I guess I could play through season 2 again all in order and keep my eye out for them, but if any of you have theories id love to hear em.
double posted. won't let me delete, so... anyways. Well I guess I can add this, the dream sequence when it first popped up, I thought thats what they were gonna do, "it was all a fever dream"
also, it is very possible that Jane was part of that group.
Why noy have Christa's story? I could see that turn into a full season, maybe not us playing her but centered around her. It also gives a chance to see where they'll go with the branching stories of season 2. The way season 2 ends makes me feel we're gonna see another time jump, while I don't really mind I'd really prefer not to see that just to tie up the loose ends. I could care less who the story is about so long as it hits the heart and keeps on hitting it.
So a recap on 400 days. Each story centered around the location of that garage diner. The guy shot on the bridge was Mathew. Tavia is the big black lady who tries to convince the group to come with her to a community, that community is Carver's at Howe. Btw she was the one guarding the walkies. So who you meet in season 2 there is really based off of your choices in the DLC and who left with Tavia, they have small talk parts but nothing major so just a mention really and I think aside for Bonnie we see them all in season 2 episode 3 while we're stuck at Howe. We don't really know the fate of many of the other people from 400 days that you didn't play as, but we know Roman is dead at the river where Pete got bit in season 2 episode 1. There was a guy there with Roman's jacket, who knows maybe Roman found Carver and given how they both are I'm not surprised Roman got killed.
I finally worked out how it felt. Like when you're about to get on a huge ass rollarcoaster and you reaaaaally want to but you're scared. And then you go through excitement when you get on, and for the whole ride its all AGHH NO I WANT TO GET OFF but you don't really because it was great.
It finally felt like a telltale game. I didnt abandon Kenny too, because of what you said, when he's mad, I know how to deal with it. I got the same ending, and it felt good!

Saemunder cleared up a couple of things there, but I wanted to add:
YEAH, I'd be down for that, an episode on how the entire gang ended up at Carver's, did their friendship last. The only way I see us getting that is if they'll play a role in season three, and I really dont think so.
Tavia, that was the name. I said tricia. my bad but yeah, im just curious about them. Before season 2 released, they promoted 400 days as a preview for what was to come, and didnt really tie anything solid into it except if you count Bonnie. I like what GoneButLivedOn said, about releasing maybe another special episode or something to show what they did at the camp, or how it turned into what it was, etc. And yeah, the guy on the bridge was named Mathew, but he could have changed his name. Remember the Governor in the TV series? First he was Philip, then... David I think or something. Not that anyone knew him as Philip, only the governor so I don't see the point of it unless he was trying to convince himself, but cest la vie.
I didnt think about the roman part but it makes sense, im gonna try playing it over again and make more connections. Although im more concerned with the main characters. Maybe too many choices left it impossible for them to include all the characters, i dont know. Id like to find out what happened to Shel and Becca mostly. ALSO Vince mentioned something at the end of my more recent playthrough. This time I let the WallStreet guy live, and instead of having to kill him, Vince said that he left to go find a settlement, which made Vince alot more agreeable to join the new group. I would like to find out if he made it, or where he ended up. Most of the other choices had finite endings to characters. If you kept the other prisoner alive, Vince was later forced to kill him. etc.
And last but not least, one thing im gonna search for is if Roman really killed Stephanie, or if after my "escape" that she got out of the truck and fled or so.
And I need to pay close attention to who the guy I give water to in the first episode of the second season is.

It would actually make for a pretty good dlc. Us playing as Roman on the hunt for Shel and Becca, you could tie in the 400 days characters, some encounters with Carvers group possibly ending at the river scene.

Well 400 days wasn't really a preview I felt, but then I didn't watch many trailers on it or anything. Bonnie was obvious to be in season 2 because no matter what she always goes with Tavia. Btw I'm pretty sure that Carver was still in charge when Tavia picked up the 400 days crew, you forget what Bonnie said, "He used be different.." and Bonnie was sceptical about Reggie(the one armed indian guy) getting killed. Also it's mentioned through overheard conversations on the roof that they are prepared this time for the herd and I think it's Bonnie that said something along the lines of Carver becoming different after that first herd passed. That time could have also been when the season 2 group fled or near that time, it would make sense why Carver seems so on edge.
As for the bridge guy, defintely not Vince, the dude doens't look anywhere near close enough to him, smaller shoulders, different cheekbone structure. I doubt the artists at Telltale are so sloppy to overlook those kind of major things, also I think he may be shorter but that's just me. And yeah Philip from the TV series was also known as Brian or the governor, I think the name change was to show his differing nature from murder extreme to kinda okish. I've heard Philip was the name of his brother while his real name was Brian but I haven't read the book on the governor so not sure if that's true, but I do know that one of the buildings he walks past has a full on convo between a family and their missing son called Brian cause it's scrawled on there multiple times. I figured that's where he got the name from but mind you we as humans are creatures of habit so maybe that was about him and he was walking old paths? I mean the guys at woodbury knew each other for a long time when they mention escaping from some house.
Vince is seen walking past in season 2 episode 3 I believe when they first came in(could be wrong) but he definetly walks past the season 2 crew. Shel and Becca are kinda arguing (both have assault weapons btw) and Becca seems very dismissive of Sara thinking of her as annoying maybe to much like a child even though they seem about the same age or so. Russel is near the door with a gun aswell when Clem walks outside with the Walkie looking for Luke. Wyatt was seen walking around some place but I can't remember where exactly, I believe it's when the season 2 crew first enter Howe. That pretty much sums up all their involvement with us. Given that they all are armed and in line it seems that they agreed with Carver likely cause they knew him from before he started to go cray cray.
As for "wallstreet guy" whose name is Justin, he seems like the move wherever he can have it easy. Danny was the rape accused guy. I think Roman killed Stephanie, if we kill her we know how it goes but if you run away given the mexican guy's attack if he's set free meaning they attack or his resolve if you kill mexican guy and that Stephanie was stealing all their stuff he seems like he would be bolstered to end Stephanie's life.

Freaking Kenny. Doesn't matter if you hated him or loved him he was the only person left of the original crew, at least that we know of.
Yet Clemmy outlived him. It's kinda freaky when you think about it, the person the others thought of as a liability is the only one that made it out!
It would be a nice way to tie up some of the many loose ends!
