* might be back in Season 3

Mike might be back, or at least would have been back initially.

There is a major fail in the PS3 version of 205.

Instead of the [Ask to leave with Mike] option, there is a [Shoot Mike] option, which actually results in his death.

Seeing as this happens on no other platform, I think it's safe to say it wasn't planned like this. They probably forgot to edit it.

And if they edited it, they didin't want Mike to be determinant, but unknown. It's similar to Kenny is 105. He would have died in the first concepts, but it got changed the last second.

I could see them doing the same thing with Mike, but it may have been so late they weren't able to take it out anymore or just forgot. Of course, now Mike can't be back, as he can die on the PS3. But I think he would have been.

  • Interesting, now I'll have to buy a ps3 version >:D

  • Yeah, I know. But it wasn't Nick Breckon's plan.

If mike dies on one platform , he's fucking dead.

  • Did he share his personal plans with you? Cool. You guys are best buddies, I suppose.

Yeah, I know. But it wasn't Nick Breckon's plan.

  • If it isn't in now on ANY other platform, it can be little less than a fail don't you think?

And that means it wasn't Breckon's plan, as it was his goddamn Episode. If he took it out, but someone fucked up for PS3, I don't need to know him personal to know it's a mistake.

  • Ah fuck mike anyway , no wait maybe he's cool? plz.
I CANT BELIEVE HE BETRAYED US!

Yeah, I know. But it wasn't Nick Breckon's plan.

  • It wasn't his episode. There is a team of writers that plans the entire season, and then the individual writer go and finalize the single episodes. This episode does not belong to Nick Breckon, it belongs to the entire writing staff and Telltale.

It's obviously an error that it's only on PS3. But it could be the other way round - Nick Breckon wanted to kill him off, and in the end, the staff decided against it but forgot to edit it out of the ps3 version.

It is normal that during the production of a game, book, movie or TV series, plot points are often changed. Everyone in this forum acts as if it would be a bad thing to change a script, but it isn't. It's normal during a creative process.

Thing is, we'll never know wether Nick Breckon wanted this or not. Then again, It's not that big of a deal, is it?

  • I never said it was bad, nor that it was a big deal.

I see where you're coming from, I guess it wasn't his Episode. But he made it this awesome.

  • At this point, I completely agree with you. No Going Back was breathtaking.

  • I have a PS3 and when I played it, it said 'did you ask to leave with Mike' or not?

  • But you did have the shoot option, or didn't you?

  • Good that we can agree on that :)

  • I also think that Nick Breckon is probably the best writer, considering from what I've seen during the second season.

Good that we can agree on that

  • Oh well, now they just have to patch it up and make Luke
saveable at the same time ;)

  • Looking back now, I also think so. I personally didn't like 202 that much, and 201 neither, but they sure as hell weren't bad. And what he did with 205...fantastic.

  • All That Remains is my fourth most favorite episode out of all, behind Long Road Ahead, No Time Left and No Going Back. I loved the isolated beginning and the entire feel of that episode.

  • For me it's

    1. 205

    2. 102

    3. 103

    4. 204

    5. 105

    6. 203

    7. 202

    8. 201

    9. 104

    10. 101

    1. 205

    7. 203
    8. 204
    9. 101
    10. 104
    11. 400 Days

Interesting how much these differ, but be see 101 pretty much at the bottom in both lists and 205 on the top.

    For me it's * 205 * 102 * 103 * 204 * 105 * 203 * 202 * 201 * 104 * 101

  • I don't think so, I think there was only a threaten option. But I didn't choose it I think I just gave him the gun.

But you did have the shoot option, or didn't you?
