Question is, why Arvo wanted to hide the meds in the trash can. Why he chose the observation desk? The first thing that comes into my mind is a meeting place. Weird habit of mine.

Well if it was a meeting place, whoever would be waiting at the observation deck would have the advantage--they can see whoever's coming to meet them from very far away. And they could also easily have a gun trained on those approaching too. As a location, it sticks out like a sore thumb. There's no subtle way to approach it without being noticed. (No I'll eat my words; you can approach from the side of the gift shop.) But Arvo didn't seem to be meeting anyone there, just dropping the meds off in the episode.

If Arvo was just dropping off meds, whoever was supposed to meet him or pick up the meds will be in for a big surprise when they find the deck all smashed to pieces. These surprised people might thus be wary of new people around, and if they don't get their meds, they might look for Arvo's group, and end up coming across Clem's.

Also, whoever wanted the meds may not have had access to the hospital then (if that is a hospital). Or perhaps, the hospital doesn't have as many meds as we thought. :(

Actually it is likely, as you can see Bonnie has a backpack when she left the Carver's camp(even though the damn thing vanishes from time to time).

Very nicely put together! The baby formula did seem to appear out of thin air, but maybe they had some from Carver's camp. (That does seem unlikely, though.)

  • This last episode will undoubtedly be the most arduous for Clementine and i shudder to think what awaits her. Great post aswell as always. :)

  • The theory "somebody was supposed to pick up the meds Arvo left there" is probably wrong, though. :) I was just thinking out loud. Supplies traiding looks like good choice in the zombie apocalipse (theoretically), and if the Russians were close to the hospital and managed to get enough meds to spare, they might exchange some for stuff they actually need.

I really don't know. We have to wait. :>

You may be underestimating the snow fall. With the way it's falling the ground could easily have that amount of snow coverage in 1 or 2 hours. I also estimated as best I could their pace in the gif. I believe they move about four feet in roughly four seconds. 60ft a minute is 3600ft an hour or .6818181..MPH. I hope that helps in some way.

edit: I forgot to note that the snow had actually started the night before so we may not be able to use that at all. =(

  • Wow good for you for calculating their pace. Less than 1 mile an hour is really slow. :( But hopefully if they have a car like the achievement, "We Slowly Drove" seems to suggest, and if the roads are passable enough, they can make some good headway there.

  • Thank you for calculations.

There is no visible difference in the amount of snow when you left the observation desk at the first light, or you decided to wait a few more days. Again, Telltale doesn't care about things, and I can't even call this "detail", this should have changed at least time of Rebecca's death.

    Late evening; light snowfall:

Forenoon(?), the next day/ a few days later; still not a heavy snowfall:

  • I skipped through a youtube video for reference and since the sky looked the same I forgot about the time jump from sunset to sunrise at the observation deck. With their light jackets and the first snowfall i'm estimating the time of year is around mid-late October. That puts sunrise just about 7 am. The light level in the gif could be anywhere from 8am to just before 5pm. The conversation suggests it's later in the day, at least after noon I would say. If the trip from the ruins to the museum is closer to 1 mile they are off the map, if it's closer to 2 they are nearing the edge or just over.

Yep! That's what I thought too at first! Unfortunately I'm pretty sure the tweet picture is the Capitol Building from Washington DC.

  • Dunno, man. There're so many theories we'd cook up... probably to discover that Telltale didn't use most of those/forget majority of details.

Well, people on the Finale Hype Thread, are talking about Arvo right now... "Why hide the meds if he has a sick sister" and such :)

  • Uhh honestly I don't know. I'm sorry! I got these pictures from youtube and by editing them so they're clearer!

Where do we go to look through the game files?

  • Hmm.. I don't think it's possible they have the right date but being two months off doesn't sound reasonable either. That wouldn't change sunrise but the sunset is an hour earlier.

  • what i don't get is why is why did the writers have russians in ep. 4?

  • It seems they wanted people whose language would be foreign to most so you couldn't immediately determine their true intentions. Most assume they are bad guys but the translated dialogue i've seen doesn't make them overtly malicious.
