But to kill? That's just insane - nearly as insane as Lily. It's pretty much the exact same ordeal - they both tried to kill a person when d… moreeath was not needed in anyway. Maybe your Lee would have done that, but certainly not mine.
Just like Jane said -
"How's beating a kid gonna help anyone?"
Kid being Jane in this situation.
Arvo brought my wrath on him , himself. I didn't steal from him. I shot a zombie, and he got all crybaby about it. Then when i tried to include him in the group when we were resting at the transformer, he got all crybabyish. At that point i was ready to hit him in the face with that rum bottle, then he runs off and tries to escape.
Who knows what Arvo was leading us to, it could have been a base filled with more Russians. Then Luke dies, because of the stupid idea of crossing the ice, i liked Luke. I care nothing for Arvo.

Look, you guys can get as salty as you want and try to make as many broken excuses as you want.
But you fucked up.
If you want a good ending, you can rewind and [Look away].
Don't know why you're getting upset about it.
Lee would definitely have done the same. I used this example in another comment, but suppose that Lee and Clem got separated by a horde of walkers, but he saw Clem running off with Ben. Lee later meets Ben in a safe area, but notices Clem isn't there. He asks Ben where she went, to where Ben starts stammering about how sorry he is and that it was an accident and that she's gone. Ben, already established as a screwup and who has abandoned Clem once already to save his own skin.
Lee would go absolutely apeshit on Ben, and probably be supported by most of the playerbase to boot.
Kenny wasn't insane he's just overprotective. His reaction was completely justified, anyone in his position would react the same. I think even Lee would.
I imagine there was. People are rationalizing the stupidest things. Like Jane.
And I don't say that lightly. I tried my best to stop the fight. Ever since I woke up in that damn car, I yelled at them to stop fighting, told both Jane and Kenny individually to lay off, and during the fight, I even kicked Kenny in the knee. Yet when it came down to it, I looked away, because it was obvious that someone had to die. Who deserved it more?
Jane didn't deserve to die. But what she did was stupid. I never thought that something Kenny did was stupid.
He would've reacted exactly like Kenny, maybe a bit more - but that's still insane. He wasn't reasonable, what would killing her do exactly?
The only person who didn't turn insane when the exact situation popped up was Walter - Walter's boyfriend, student or whatever was dead due to Nick - and he took it like a champ and saved Nick if you told him he was good. Kenny was basically Walter - but instead of asking the important question, were they a good man or woman, he just jumped on her to kill, because an lie or accident makes her like everyone else.
I liked to think that ending was happy; I really do. But what's next, over that horizon? We don't know if it's a bad ending or a good one until we see.
Well she did say no matter what happens to stay out of it. And plus she wanted to look and run away as Sarah was about to get eaten. So following Jane's instructions until the bitter end turned out perfectly in the end. I mean we wouldn't know how to kill zombies as effectively had we disobeyed her directions. Plus something is bound to go wrong with that family of newcomers either way I think. Whether you let them in or not. Jane's ending isn't as theatrically moving as Kenny's ending.
Arvo brought my wrath on him , himself. I didn't steal from him. I shot a zombie, and he got all crybaby about it. Then when i tried to in… moreclude him in the group when we were resting at the transformer, he got all crybabyish. A trap? I understood that Jane hadn't killed the baby because of what she said to Clem, and I understood why she was acting that way, but I still decided to save her and go with her, so I wouldn't call that a trap. Kenny was the threat because he was dangerous, and that's what Jane was trying to prove: what if Clem was the one returning without the baby, saying that he was dead? He would have probably reacted the same way. I even tried to stop the fight staying between Kenny and Jane, but HE strongly pulled me away and kept attacking her. Kenny was dangerous. If you killed Kenny that's probably because you understood that too. The fact that the baby is alive doesn't really change what kenny tried to do, in my opinion.
And rewinding kinda messes up the whole meaning of the episode with the "No going back" theme: you can't go back, yet you rewind? In real life that couldn't happen.
One of TTG devs said he liked the alone ending (which was my ending), the other one said also but that he also liked the Kenny endings. People worry too much about these endings. There is no good or bad ending. Telltale wouldn't make it that way.
I agree.. I didn't know during the fight the truth.. If i knew it the decision would have been easier to make, but thankfully i didn't shoot Kenny. I don't like being lied to.. and it was fucking stupid and risky from Jane.
I imagine there was. People are rationalizing the stupidest things. Like Jane.
And I don't say that lightly. I tried my best to stop t… morehe fight. Jane didn't deserve to die. But what she did was stupid. I never thought that something Kenny did was stupid.
I was the same way. I felt like such a murderer once I saw the "Stay at Wellington" ending. The fact that he was willing to do what he did, it made me physically sick, knowing that I had shot him. So now I live with the regret of my original ending, but also the happiness of what I consider to be the "most-proper" ending.
Clem is alive and safe. That's all that matters. I don't care about Kenny being alone, he can handle it. I don't care about Jane and Howe's, it's only a temporary shelter at best. I only care about Clem's safety, and she's the safest in Wellington.
Look, you guys can get as salty as you want and try to make as many broken excuses as you want.
But you fucked up.
If you want a good ending, you can rewind and [Look away].
Don't know why you're getting upset about it.
Kenny was the threat because he was dangerous, and that's what Jane was trying to prove:
By doing something terrible to him to make him do something terrible in return? This was the only time Kenny ever manifested himself as a direct threat to a group member, and it took heavy manipulation to pull it off. Jane wasn't just trying to prove something either, she was trying to kill him. Not at first, but as the fight went along she was the one who decided to turn the fight into a battle to the death.
At any point during the fight she could have admitted to Kenny that the baby was still alive in the truck. She wanted to fight.
what if Clem was the one returning without the baby, saying that he was dead? He would have probably reacted the same way.
Nope. Because he knows Clem would never intentionally kill a baby. Jane though..? Would you really put it past her? Based on the knowledge that we have of her, it isn't far fetched to think she tossed it away because it was a liability to the group.
I even tried to stop the fight staying between Kenny and Jane, but HE strongly pulled me away and kept attacking her.
Nope. This event happened after Kenny got slashed across the stomach and retreated out of the building. Jane sprinted after him knife in hand and met him outside where he was slowly backing away. She kept advancing on him. THEN you have the opportunity to get inbetween, when Jane is clearly being the aggressor. If you try and grab Kenny he tosses you to the side, but Jane is the one who follows that up by attacking Kenny... not the other way around.
Kenny was dangerous.
Yeah, if you manipulate him into thinking you killed his kid. That should definitely be on the list on what not to do to anyone ever under any circumstance.
The fact that the baby is alive doesn't really change what kenny tried to do
It's actually kind of irrelevant to what Kenny tried to do.
A trap? I understood that Jane hadn't killed the baby because of what she said to Clem, and I understood why she was acting that way, but I… more still decided to save her and go with her, so I wouldn't call that a trap. Then why did you let Kenny kill Jane? She needed you. You looked away.
This is what could've happened if she let the baby die - that's why she wanted to leave Kenny.
So guys... I would just like to toss out the idea that it is entirely possible that Kenny survived Clementine's shot. We don't really know that he died there for sure...
There's no shame in rewinding. I'll admit for a second I contemplated shooting Kenny to incapacitate him, but I was under the impression that Jane let AJ die, or even killed him, and then she started gouging out Kenny's already wounded eye, so it wasn't a very difficult choice to let Jane get killed. Even though TellTale tried to make Kenny look like the bad guy, the only bad guy I saw was Jane. I'm biased as hell, but Kenny, Clem, and AJ becoming a little family of survivors is the happiest ending to me.
So guys... I would just like to toss out the idea that it is entirely possible that Kenny survived Clementine's shot. We don't really know that he died there for sure...
I think both Kenny AND Jane sort of lost it with each other. It just goes to show if you lose enough and get pushed to your limit anyone and everyone no matter who you are will break. I shot Kenny, it was awful I am so sad I did it, but really I did it because he had lost so freaking much. I wanted him to finally be able to rest in peace. I went with Jane and I didn't let the family in. I didn't like the way the Guy threw is wife's hand away from his and the kid was supper dark. They can't both be his parents...
Kenny wasn't insane he's just overprotective. His reaction was completely justified, anyone in his position would react the same. I think even Lee would.
I shot Kenny the first time, cried like a bitch, then Jane was like "lol dat was good prank."
You bet your ass I rewinded. I usually don't. I usually just stick with whatever happens, but that time, I couldn't. I felt bad in my gut after I did it. I generally try to go about this game as "Which off these choices would I most likely choose." Which, admittedly made me realize I'm sort of a dick. I was all for smashing Larry's head in. I felt bad afterwards, but hey, it happened.
I just couldn't do the rest of the episode with that, though. I felt like I did something I wouldn't have actually done in the first place, and Jane pointing out it was to prove a point just made me say "Fuck it," and rewind.
Exploring the different options is part of the experience, You rewind and see if you could of done things different and see what ends up happening depending on the different choices you make. Nothing wrong with it.. thats part of the game.. go through the different endings and pick which one suits you.

So if Jane walked in and told Lee that she had killed Clem, accident or not how do you think he would react?
but if there a 3rd season i think that you will keep with kenny because 36 percent people went with kenny so.....

Ain't going to look away at murder.
Don't worry - you'll would've gotten used to the feeling bad part about killing Kenny.

My ending.
why?if you don't mind me asking.

Also - my Lee thinks reasonable.

Arvo is a freaking baby - I can agree with that, but beating a kid isn't helpful in the slightest.
We don't leave leave Friends behind. That is my vote.

Well i found the Clem/Jane ending more emotionally...my opinion, Im okay with my clem
Well I got Kenny on my side on this one.

It was not the best option by any means. It was sick and taking advantage of him.
I still think this is good though
That's now changed: 70% of people actually shot Kenny.
Wow, this is sad. You do notice it their decision and you don't have to be a d*** about it?
By doing something terrible to him to make him do something terrible in return? Jane was never my friend, just someone i knew.
(not sure if you know but that last one was a quote from Clementine herself in S1 E4)
So guys... I would just like to toss out the idea that it is entirely possible that Kenny survived Clementine's shot. We don't really know that he died there for sure...
This Thread is full of Kenny aplogists. This thread needs Flog.
That kids face disturbs me to much to go with Jane. I feel like any second now, he's gonna say "Giggity."
Sometimes taking out your aggression can clear your mind. You never broke a controller, mouse, keyboard, nose?

Kenny cheating death again is not at all hard to believe.lol
