The ending with the most value moving forward

First off, something unrelated to this post.Season 2 was decent but seriously lags behind season 1 and the wolf among us.Only the death of Luke mattered to me.
Now on topic, many felt that the story arc for Clementine is done but she may yet return provided that they may use the ending where she stays in Wellington as canon. There she can grow up and maybe return in some season down the road. She can have a similar relationship with AJ like she had with Lee.In the mean time,I wouldn't mind Kenny taking over as the lead.He has much history and would face a similar dilemma to Bigby(whether to redeem himself or give in to the rage).

  • You have too high expectations. Season 2 is fucking great, so is Season 1.

  • They will just start with a new protagonist and at one point in season 3 you will possibly meet Clem and have (unimportant and soon to die / go off) cameos by Kenny or Jane and/or anyone else not explicitly dead in season 1 or 2.

Anything else would be just too complex and difficult to pull off.

  • It was good I have no doubts about it but it felt a little fragmented and there weren't enough characters with whom you develop a connection with.Like I said, only Luke was one character that I was rooting for.Season 1 was much superior in this respect, many deaths had emotional bearings.

  • Or just end S3 E1 the same, regardless of the ending. Seems better than a new protagonist, specially a completely new character.

  • I think the characters get a fair amount of development, all of them. Some are just less important in order for the game to move on.

  • Well, that's also possible, but quite the challenge considering that the 5 different endings let Clem end up in all different locations and that they basically have to write 3-5 different S3 E1.
The lame way would be that they collapse all endings in the first 5 minutes of S3 E1 which would be quite cheap to be honest.

Anyway, I'm kinda sad that Jane won't be a big part of Season 3. Hope they design a good "replacement" for her.

  • i personally think that Telltale will do a timeskip, were either Jane or Kenny is dead (or at least right after the timeskip). But what i really hope is that Telltale actually makes a different version of s3 ep1 for each ending (which is very unlikely) if so, i would have to go back and save Kenny, if not, ill just stick with my alone with baby save, were i have lost (and told the other one to fuck off ;) already

  • Well TTG have good writers, they'll figure something out.

  • Fair enough. We all have our theories and would like to stick by them :D
