Molly should have been used instead of Jane

They were practically the same characters. Both were loners and shared a similar personality. If Molly was used,it would have been far more engrossing since both have an history with Clem and the decision between Kenny and Molly could have been tougher

Molly is very anti Crawford though, Jane encourages Clem to abandon burdens, Molly dislikes that attitude

  • And how do you know if Molly's attitude? We only had her for one episode...

  • Lilly should've been used instead of Kenny! I mean like, they're both like rabid dogs when angry!!

  • jane was preety much a more realistic take on molly. remember when molly was introduced and one of the major complaint was she felt out of place in the walking dead well jane never had that problem.

  • I can easily see Molly leaving Kenny. Of course she won't leave the baby but if Molly was faced with Season 2 Kenny. I can see her leaving him

Um half the ep was devoted to her character development and backstory in Crawford. They said no burdens, they execute or throw out burdens, Molly's sis was a burden so they murdered her, thus Molly dislikes it

  • So if Molly had Jane's sister instead of her regular one in the same situation Jane had, you don't think she would of done the same. It's not like Jane didn't regret it. She said it herself, "it killed me for a long time"

  • Unsure. I think that if Molly and Jane met, they'd either get along very well or they'd see too much of themselves in each other which would hurt emotionally and they'd dislike facing each other tbh. Molly could be angry Jane abandoned her sis because she'd do anything to have her own sis with her, the idea that someone would abandon their's could really anger her

  • I kind of agree. I think that they probably thought of bringing Molly back, but it was too much effort to make her character more realistic, so they just created Jane instead.
