Really, [name here]?

edited August 2014 in The Walking Dead

Hey there Luke! Let me remind you something; YOU HAVE A FREAKING MACHETE! USE IT IN THE WATER TO CUT THE WALKER'S HAND!
Seriously why didn't he??!??

EDIT; Also another thing...when we saw his body floating in the water why didn't anyone get him out of there...he could be alive still.

  • I think he was panicking too much.

  • I doubt it would've been that easy for him.

  • Luke confirmed for Season 3.

Have you ever tried swinging your arm under water? I doubt you could make the swing fast enough to cut the walkers hand off, not to mention the water was so cold he probably wouldn't have the strength to do it even if he could.

  • No...he was dragged down. Nobody could have lived after that...

  • Exactly, after Kenny, i wouldn't say anything is impossible.

    He got lucky. Real lucky.

  • He could have at least tried...seemed like he forgot he had it..damn it i missmy bro Luke...

  • You could be very right about that although it is possible to do it with a machete...but really though he just used it once and he could at least try. And that about panicking..well he was pretty calm when he literally grabbed that walker from the neck and pushed it away from Clem.

    Luke confirmed for Season 3.

  • Kenny was surrounded by walkers with no bullets, and no one saw anyone running out of the alley.... (I know that he's probably dead, but I'm still in denial).

Also if you help Luke, he's pulled down into the water by a walker.

Someone needs to make a Luke confirmed for Season 3 gif!!!

  • I've heard somewhere that you can look dead from drowning,
but still be alive for a while.

In my mind , he has just as much of a chance of living as Christa does. After Kenny's resurrection, i will not believe any character is dead unless they get killed right in front of Clementine, or we walk up on them like Nick.

  • He is in freezing cold water, trapped and he has an injured leg, I don't think he'd be thinking clearly when he's in so much shock;)

  • Luke died. In front of Clementine. There was no air coming out of his mouth or nose. The ice cold water lessened his chance to live with every second. Luke. Is. Gone.

  • You think that, but I think majority of people's first thought when drowning is to just flail as fast as you can and get to the air. By the time you have any other ideas, it's too late.

  • Okay but this is freezing water anyways. I can't believe the denial here. Well nvm I actually can since I was like this with nick lmfao. Anyways aren't you an adult anyways? wow

  • As much as I want to believe he survived somehow, I think exposure would have gotten him even if he did get out somehow. First his injured leg would have made swimming difficult. Then say he got out of the water, (which might have frozen over again) he would have froze to death unless someone found him instantly. Since there was no mention by the rest of the party about finding him washed up, I'm afraid he's stuck down there.

Though if he made an appearance as a walker in season 3...

But I admit, a part of me hopes that he got away and was washed downsteam and was saved by other survivors.

  • Luke can't hear you, either. Because he's dead.

  • He froze to death, and he also panicked so much that it would have taken about 3 minutes for him to pass out.
