About the 5 Endings

How is telltale going to continue Clems story in season 3 when there are 5 different endings to season 2?

Time skip seems most probable, with 5 beginnings that all come to a certain place. Idk if this is how theyll do it but thats what im hoping, doesnt have to be too big of a time skip either. It would suck to see determinant Jane/Kenny die right at the beginning though.

I guess we'll have to wait and see ^^

I mean, they can kind of coalesce them into two endings instead of 5...

So like, if Clem enters wellington, they could make it so Kenny rejoins eventually, and if Kenny leaves with Clem, then they can make it so they all get in eventually.

Thereby the same people would be in the same place.

Then you can say that the family eventually manages to get let in regardless of your choice with Jane, so that's another two endings into one.

Then if Clem is alone they can make it so she goes to wellington or back to Howe's, and so is essentially the same as one of the others.

This would be annoying, but possible.

  • SOON

We'll find out....soon. I'm guessing different intro's though, with a few changes in the main plot here and there.

  • Cutting & pasting from a thread I started this morning:

Everyone is saying that we can't have Clem be the protagonist in season 3 because of the 5 endings but with a simple 1-week or more time jump all the endings can be wrapped up to bring her to the same place.

    If you chose:

Clem alone at Wellington: She's already at Wellington. Kenny could have come back (remember, the woman said to come back in a few months to see if they had room) or else they just leave him questionable. At some point, if you chose Jane Kenny would need to die in the opening or just never be heard from again)

Clem with Kenny: They could have the woman stop them, telling them they'd make room, or Kenny could leave Clem while she's sleeping so she'll go to Wellington on her own, or they could time jump a few months and they find Wellington (again, Kenny would need to die or go MIA at some point)

Clem Alone with the baby - Just have Clem find Wellington on her own. She's a kid alone with a baby. They should let her in.

Jane & Clem - Either ending, whether you invite the family in or not- I haven't played the ending but I've read others' posts and know there was some concern over the dad(?) with the gun. Well, he can either come back and kill Jane, or kill Jane while there (if they let them in) and Clem runs off on her own with the baby. Ends up in Wellington.

This is just one idea, where Wellington is the starting point of season 3. The starting point could be anywhere. The point is... No matter what ending you chose, season 3 could still continue with us playing as Clem.

  • I totally agree wit you! The only problem is, people would complain saying that their choices didn't matter.

  • For the Clem/Jane one, they could also run out of supplies and head back up to Wellington, if they don't let the family in/Something happens to the family they let in.
