Really?! Kenny chose to...

edited August 2014 in The Walking Dead

Beat Arvo into a bloodly pulp instead of helping Clementine and if you ever disagree with the MANY brutal beatings he snaps at Clementine.

He chose to satisfy his own blood-lust over someone who needed and trusted him and doesn't respect Clementine's views against beatings.

At that point Jane knew the group was pretty much over, as the remaining members are scared ****less of Kenny and wanted to get the heck out of there before he snaps on them, and she had to quickly come up with a plan to save Clementine as she wasn't going to wait for Clementine to be the next Arvo for Kenny to beat into a bloodly pulp until he MAYBE calms down before someone dies by his hands.

Jane didn't intend on doing what she did when she set out, her plan was made on the fly because she was literally scared ****less that Clementine would be next and latched onto the first thing she could think of(The Baby) to save Clementine's life from a proven madman. Nor did Jane intend for Kenny or her to die and even tried to end the fight multiple times. Things went down so fast because she was scared for Clementine's life and underestimated Kenny's madness.

Kenny realizes what he's becoming but it doesn't hit him that he's fallen so far, and is no better than Lily and Carver, until you shoot him or if you help him commit murder upon Jane and than point your gun at him.

  • When did he snap at Clem? Seriously, am I not remembering right, or what? I literally got Kenny to stop every time, and he didn't flip out once.

  • Kenny was angry at Arvo because he ''killed'' Luke (I didn't really get how, but that's not the point).

Arvo also Killed indirectly Bonnie (determinant.) Rebecca. (Maybe she would've died anyway. (?) ) and got Luke and Mike shot.

Although i don't think in anyway Kenny should've beated Arvo's ass, he at least had some good reasons.

Also, this thread quickly became a Jane vs Kenny thread. It's like we are cursed, aren't we?

I myself would've shot the Clementine that shot Mike.

Evil Glare/Look in eye - "What, don't got the stomach for it anymore?"

Based off memory, not sure if the words are exactly as such.

  • He still chose to beat someone over looking to Clementine.

  • If you don't watch Carver die, he doesn't say anything. =3

  • That was in the beta versions of the game. You can still do it in early PS3 version (after download don't patch the game).

  • Its because she was being hypocritical in that instance.. as in she was totally fine with watching Carver get beaten down but then not fine with Arvo getting beaten up.

  • Beat Arvo into a bloodly pulp instead of helping Clementine

He deserved it. After everything he had put the group through, he had the gall to insult Kenny? Right after a member of their group had just been killed because of his stupid pointless march to nowhere?

Clem was being tended to already.

He chose to satisfy his own blood-lust over someone who needed and trusted him and doesn't respect Clementine's views against beatings.

The point was that Clem was being hypocritical. Not really a big deal.

So in other words, you were just making a really big assumption that wasn't really based on anything other than the fact that Kenny beat up someone who deserved it. Kenny would never hurt a member of the group without reason. There is no evidence to the contrary. It isn't fair to just abandon the guy based off of a baseless assumption.

This doesn't justify her actions at all. It doesn't matter if she was supposedly scared or not. Being scared doesn't mean you intentionally try your best to bring out the worst in someone so you have an excuse to abandon them. What was done to Kenny was very, very unfair.

And what do you mean she underestimated Kenny's madness? She fully expected him to flip out. That was the entire point of the plan. She was the one who escalated the fight into a life or death situation.

  • He will still get mad at you and violently snap at you even if you didnt watch him beat Carver to a pulp. It only happen's every time you try to stop him from beating Arvo. You have to agree with Kenny or some what agree with him 100% in order to have him not snap at you.
