It was his time, he was crossing the line like a mad dog and he desperately wanted you to stop him before it's too late. It's okay to cry but it's what he wanted which was for you to stop him from becoming no better than Carver or Lily, a Monster, and to save a life - Jane.
Kenny is at peace and can finally be with his family and Sarita again(Awkward?) and he wont have the blood of an innocent on his hands when they see him.
Now go on and take your Clementine to Fort Clementine, as Jane would differ the naming to Clementine like with all things, with Jane acting as your mentor/bodyguard and go run your own community because if there's one thing Walking Dead Seasons 1 and 2 has taught us is this.
Clementine gets **** done and it's now her time to lead!

Yes, because I love Kenny like I love Old Yeller.
I also remember the time I had to walk my Dog to the vet, he was very sick and it was making him very violent that he was biting at children, so he could be put down. So many tears that day but it was the right thing to do and it was his time.

I respectfully disagree, Jane was not innocent, she even told Clem she was going into the fight with the intent of killing Kenny.

She is innocent in that she didn't deserve to die and Kenny knew it hence why he's glad you saved Jane from him.

I don't know if she needed to die or not, but before the decision scene there is a part where she gets on top of Kenny and sinks her fingers into his maimed eye section and starts yelling "How does that feel!?!", if Clem hadn't pulled Jane off of Kenny, she likely would have killed him.
He'll come back as a talking walker and say "I got lucky" in a broken walker voice now that walkers can talk in the comic (not confirmed)
