Idea for season 3 start to include choices
So I'm hoping our ending choices have longer lasting effects than just the first few minutes of episode 1 of season 3.
Here is an idea on how it could work (its pretty long)
Ending: Alone - If shes alone it starts with a quick flash of clem with the baby walking when suddenly they run into somebody, it could be christa/Lilly a 400 days guy/gal or even someone new (from this point on I'll refer to them as christa as an example). Christa says shes going to wellington and tells clem to come with her they go an arrive, its been a week and some people have died so there is space for them. The walking dead appears....
Ending: Wellington - If clem is in wellington she is talking with that woman edith about a week after she arrived there someone is at the gate and wants to be let in this person is christa/lilly or a 400 days guy/gal or even a new person (from this point on their christa to save time). They let the person in either because they have space now and/or clem recognises christa. Christa enters and thanks clem and the group. The walking dead title appears
Wellington and alone continue here: After this it shows that a month has passed christa and clem are talking, food is running low and fights keep breaking out, spring is coming and now its warming up there are more and more walkers, After some time through a mixture of people and walkers the community is overun and clem christa, edith and maybe one or two others flee. Christa falls and clem has to save her as they go. Christa remarks that she is not sure she would have made it without clem.
Later after walking some way they encounter the family from howes who have also just fled a herd they decide to join forces and continue.
Ending Kenny: The episode starts with Kenny and clem on the roof of howes talking about AJ, Duck,Lee and everything else. Kenny then looks up and says there back, the family from howes returns with a bag Kenny talks about how it was wise to send them away as they could be trouble (kenny sent them away in the timeskip). The woman claims they have food now and if they can stay here, Kenny agrees and they let them in. The walking dead title appears.
Ending Jane - Send away family: Read the last paragraph and replace Kenny with Jane, Jane says to clem that they have food and they are running low so they cant pass up the oppurtunity.
Ending Jane, With family: The episode starts with clem talking to Gil (the kid) about what they've been doing since everything started. After this Jane and The dad of the family return with some supplies and jane remarks its getting harder and harder to find supplies. The walking dead appears.
The Kenny and both Jane endings continue here (Kenny and Jane will be called Kane): Everyone is running low on food, The family think they should stay and try to fix it up, Kane think they should leave and try to find someplace safer. Regardless walkers soon appear and the group is forced to flee, Kane suggets Wellington may take them now however on the way they encounter two people from the commnity coming the opposite way they say wellington is overun, the groups unite and continue on.
So I feel this may work as now the group has clem, and someone with her, this means Kenny,Jane and Christa have a shot as every story has one of them. This is the only hope they have of surviving and not just standing in the background.
Summary: the main jist is that clem ends up with a few people and one ally who is alive but that person is determinant on who it is. Its too much to expect there to be branching stories for too long so this is the best I think we can hope for

Here's my theory: trying to load any non-canon ending causes your hard drive to catch on fire. How's that for longer lasting effects?
I don't know why Kenny would go back to Howes, but i agree with everything else. seems like a really good idea
Its more to save people the trouble of making third place. Remember the end goal is to end up at a simaler point I know it dosnt really make sense
a new ending or them choosing one ending would be the worst choice
to me any major splinting of the storyline seems totally unlikely and uncharacteristic for telltale.
someone capturing survivors left and right and getting clem wherever she went sounds possible and a nice way to bring clem together with a familiar character. possible mike (and co). so you get to see a little consequence of your actions in season 2. (maybe a 400 day's character, if taletale feels ashamed for screwing us with that special episode) but the story will likely immediately blend together (bonny, 400 days character dies) with nothing but minor dialog alteration. A possible explanation why they suddenly kept mike alive and did not give you the option to shoot arvo.
they could also just make a bigger time jump giving clementine the chance to step in lee's shoes and become a mentor for not so little alvin. i can't really imagine clementine draging a baby around all season and just killing it seems to make season 2's ending a little pointless. although it would fit telltales well known cruelly.
it would be nice if we would get in this season's special episode 5 characters with 5 different stories. and in each of them clem could appear depending on your ending.
The point is this isnt major splintring from this point it will be the same story but one of the characters will be 3 different people, thats the only way I think it will work
Also I really dont want any more time jumps, Clem being 14 isnt going to change anything and then they'll have caught up qand wont be able to do much more
Kane vs Jenny hmmm
Yeah i understand, sounds like a thing TT would do
