Why people can't accept that Clem's story is over?
Well, I didn't want to post this at first, but it became so annoying to see "Clem in s3" and "She is the meaning of the game" posts.
I think Telltale made this story a very interesting one, and well written. But cmon guys, you couldn't accept Lee's death at s1ep5 as well! At least Clem isn't dead, and to be honest they pulled off the endings really well.
Both Kenny fans'n'haters got what their wanted. I don't think that story has a continuation, because the ending was great (at least for me). And starting all alone again pretty much would be the repetition of season 2.. SO I had to write this down now. I'm interested if there is anyone, who thinks the same way as me about this?
Bring the hate if you'd like to, i understand that some ppl are still in the stage of denial. (lol no dislikes pls)

Preach it brother. I agree. I thought Clementine was fun and a cool protagonist, but I'm fine and ready to move on.
I got the "Stay at Wellington" ending, and so I am perfectly fine with leaving Clem alone. I'm sure everyone else that got another ending would be clawing to see what happens to her next, probably because she's still not safe in either of the other conclusions.
I'm willing to accept it if it's true, but we don't know that it is, and I personally don't think it is
I got the leave Wellington with Kenny ending and would be happy with Clem's story ending there, it was the kind of ending I'd secretly hoped for (although for obvious reasons, didn't expect). To me, that ending makes sense because it provides closure.
Because the developers themselves say she still has some room for growth.
I'm perfectly fine with the ending for my Clem and letting it be the last time I see or hear of her, because it was a happy ending to me.
I DO NOT want her in another season. Why? Because I can't bear putting her through another season of losing people all over again...
Personally it wasn't fun for me, can you elaborate how playing as clementine was amusing for you.
Yeah, that's why i asked this question in the first place. The ending with Clem and Kenny walking away was the perfect ending for me. And i couldn't survive Kenny dying :c
I just want a happy end that clem survives the apocalypse she deserves it
same reason people couldn't accept Lee's death
My ending is pretty open (Alone, killed Kenny) so I would welcome SOME closure - a DLC, not necessarily a whole season. Having Clem as a protagonist (even in a DLC) would require some serious railroading to get all players into the same scenario, or long and costly production to factor in the different endings.
In the end though, I want Telltale do what they feel is best, I'm fine either way.
I'd be happy to see her become the messiah of the apocalypse.
Knowing, in the universe, where the End Point is would make it easier. I never read the books, so I don't know how much longer the world will exist as it does. If Clem lives the rest of her life in fear, constantly going from place to place surviving; it's far less gratifying than knowing that Wellington/Carver's Compound is where she will ride out the next couple of months/years until the world returns back to "normal".
Just a thought.
Until the Tell-Tale staff and creators announce that her story is completely over then I will accept it. Until then anything with her is still possible especially without her death yet. Not being able to accept Lee was over is just denial because he died. Which should have been Kenny's case in season 1 as well. But he came back in season 2 anyhow which still worked out plot wise in my opinion even though it made no sense how he made it back. Unless they kill off Clem I feel she will always remain involved somehow with the narrative as long as the game series is concerned. Just because she is at a community or at a hardware store or open field doesn't mean she is done. What about the other endings where she isn't at Wellington? With such a massively important character I know she can't be finished just yet it'd be like saying Rick and Carl's story was over once they reached Alexandria or made a life at the prison. Like Clem says* no one is safe forever* and Jane with everyone's luck runs out. Anybody else claiming character's story arcs are over is really just theories based off ignorance and assumptions. No one has any idea what the writers have in store for her still. Otherwise she may as well had died when Arvo shot her for the sake of shock value once again. But whenever they are truly done with Clementine they are also done with The Walking Dead or in other words Clementine's death will be Tell-Tale's "series" finale for their Walking Dead franchise as Tell-tale themselves have stated in a old interview that "Clementine is the heart of these games and without her everything else just falls apart" which I believe to in fact be the truth. Because as you know without the heart nothing survives.
Well she's definitely getting herself there.
To be honest, I prefer an absolutely new protagonist for S3. But it still would be cool to see Clem's cameo somewhere in S3. Maybe next season will be in 16 months gap between S1 and S2, when we may meet Omid, Christa and Clem. All in all ending of S2 was rather well as final of Clem's story. But who knows what will be in S3, we'll see.
