  • "Hush, Sheila or I'll send you to the deepest, darkest crevices of the mirror!"

Sheila mumbled a few time before folding her arms and sinking deep into the couch cushions.

    XD

"Mary, they need to learn proper table manners and-" I was inturupted by Mary's loud burp. "Really?"

"Tell me, Ariana-are you still sleeping on twenty matresses with vegetables under them or did you finally upgrade?"-Laughed then was like "OMG I know who she is!"

There were so many burns between the girls, I think I need some aloe for my own back just reading it! Lol. And that ending....geez. It was rough. Almost as rough as the ending to the Walking Dead season 5 (If you have/keep up with that) I liked it! Even if it ended as sour as it began. (sad face) :(

Pssst, Georgie Junior. Maybe if you wave some orange chicken in front of the mirror, Mary'll probably forgive you! (I hope)

I loved the ending to the Walking dead season 5 and I can see the resemblence to being 'rough'. Mary doesn't play well with others...and we will find out their history soon enough.

Then I'm glad i changed the Fable cus I'm not sure anyone would have known wtf I was talking about. XD

"We've never gone this far, Harmony," Tim said, following me down the beaten trail. The woods that enveloped us soon turned to a swampy area full of shallow waters and a murky glow.

"That's part of the fun. Finding new places," I say. We take our time strolling along.

"I don't know, this place is giving me the creeps. Can we fly back?" Tim is walking directly behind me, looking over his shoulder every now and again. He's got nothing to fear, I don't sense any living creatures whom are considered Fables.

    Hey look! Those houses, they're...."

"Tree stumps?" Tim questions. He clutches my arm, forcing me back.

"I don't know Harm, it looks-"

    BAM!!

I felt my body fall backward before I felt the pain. It started in my right shoulder and spread out to every inch of my now aching body.

    "HARMONY! NO!"

"Oh shit, I think I found her! And just in time, too!" Morgan opened a portal.

"Stay 'way from me swamp, ya buggers! I'll put 'nother round in ye'!" The nasty green ogre yelled.

"Where the fuck did he get a gun?" Morgan yelled, walking in from behind.

Tim jumped at her voice,"Morgan! You found us! We need to help Harmony, she-"

    BAM!!!

This shot missed Morgan by mere millimeters.

"We need to get her out of her! Tim, grab her legs. Harmony? Can you here me?"

    Harmony didn't answer.

"Shit- Just...I'll take you to Swineheart's. We have to be quick before-"

    BAM!!

This one hit Morgan in her lower bicep.

"Fuck!" She yelled in pain. In the moment, she decided to ignore her own injuries and she lifted Harmony with all her strength through the little portal standing behind her. Tim helped, though did a little more screaming in fear than carrying Harmony's legs.

Once through, the whole room around them was a white emergency room. Swineheart, who'd been flirting with a nurse in the waiting room, looked over.

"Oh my," He said. Immediately he ran to both girl's sides and began assessing the problem.

"Don't worry about me, worry about her!" Morgan yelled. Swineheart took her pulse, checked for breathing.

"The bullet is lodged above the lung, in between the shoulder blade and her rib cage. She's unconscious from the pain," He concluded,"But if we don't get her in an operating room, she will not make it."

As soon as he said it, two nurses ran over, carrying Harmony onto a portable bed. They began to wheel her through the doors.

Tim ran after them but was stopped by another nurse,"You can't go with them right now. She's heading into surgery-"

"She's my wife!" He yelled. After a stern inmoving look from that nurse, he gave up and began to sob. "She's- She's pregnant. Please, tell Swineheart. Tell him to save my family."

The nurse nodded grimly, walking through the doors to catch up with Swineheart and his surgeons.

While that was happening, Morgan was helped onto a chair, her bleeding arm being looked at.

The nurse she had was a young guy, one she'd never met before.

"The bullet went through you, all the way. You'll need to get stitches and have some Physical Therapy, but otherwise, you'll live," He gave her a wink.

Morgan wasn't the flirting type, but she liked the fact that someone would try.

Not that they'd succeed at reeling her in.

She was escorted to another room, leaving Tim by himself, hoping deep down that the worst possible thing was not going to happen.

That he wasn't about to loose the only person he truly loved.

Yep. Bet you didn't see that one coming! And no, the ogre in the swamp isn't Shreck, although he's from the same ogre species of sorts. Sorry for ruining anyone's childhood on that one.

We might get a little sneak peak next chapter ;) No gender(s) but, well...I've said enough!

  • What...the...hamburgers....0.0

Wow. Didn't see that coming! I truly believe everything will work out in the end but you have thrown us for a loop before so at this moment, I'm guessing. :) I was like on edge the entrie time reading. Haha Shrek....XD

    Gender(s) Hmm? I can't wait to see. :)

  • Thank goodness it wasn't Shrek, if it was, it'll never be ogre for Harmony.

Besides my silliness, I believe that she'll pull through. She always has. I really hope she gets revenge on the ogre in due time.

  • The waiting room was filled with Harmony's relatives. Her mother, donning full North Wind form, sat in the corner with her three sons waiting nervously. The boys flipped through outdated modelling magazines and continually asks what each individual article and advertisement meant.

"What's 'Car Insurance', Mommy?" The little one with brown hair asked.

    Winter sighed,"Not now, Dare."

"But I want to know," The boy pestered.

Winter rubbed the stress out of her neck some and suggested,"Why don't you go play with Blossom, Conner, Ambrose, and Ghost?"

"Okay!" All three boys got up and ran across the room to the cubs who were playing with their Ranger Danger Mike action figures and some Barbie Dolls.

Snow and Therese made their way over to Winter, siting on opposite sides of her.

"Has Swineheart talked to you at all?" Snow asked, rubbing her daughter's leg.

"He just said that the surgery went well, but we still have to wait for visitors. The only person allowed over was Tim..." Winter scowled.

    "Oh, hush now. He's...her husband."

"I don't care, she's my daughter," Winter said, looking away from her mother.

"I'm not about to argue with you. I know it's hard seeing her like this, but you know what? It's hard for me too. You're still a little girl yourself. Things will be okay, okay?"

Winter grumbled, but accepted her mother's words. Snow gave her a hug from where she sat and then got up to look after the children, who had just knocked a painting off the wall.

Tim followed Swineheart down a series of hallways. Along the way, he bumped into the one and only Bloody Mary, who'd been on her way to find the waiting room that held Harmony's friends and family.

"Tiny Tim! Ma Man!" She joked as soon as she saw him.

"Mary, I'm not in the mood." He said.

"Oh, c'mon. Listen, I heard what happened," She looked to Swineheart and said,"Hey, ya mind if I come with?"

Swineheart sighed, and said,"I suppose, since we're almost there. This is the only exception, though."

The three of them rounded another corner and entered the first intensive care room on their right.

"Harmony..." Tim whispered as they entered the room.

"I figure you will want to see the ultrasound, so-"

"Ultra-fucking-sound?" Mary gasped,"No....you- You little bitch, you got my Harmony pregnant?"

Tim feared for his life, backing away from Mary in attempt to not be slapped, or something worse than that.

Mary started laughed,"I'm just kiddin'. But seriously. I can't believe you defiled my innocent best bud."

"Hey, look. She came onto me the first time. And besides, we're married."

"Since when? Why do I fuckin' miss everything around here?"

"Well, if you haven't noticed, we've been gone for a long time."

"A week? That ain't long, a century is long."

"Wait...we've only been gone a week?" Tim looked up at the calender on the wall.

"Yeah? How long did time go by where you came from?"

"It's been 6 months for us," Tim stammered.

"Shit. Well, welcome back to reality, Timothy."

Doctor Swineheart interupted,"The, um..Ultrasound? Want to see it? I think it'd be best if you did."

"Yes, of course, doctor." Tim took a seat on on side of his wife. Swineheart got out the photos he took and handed them to Tim.

"This can't be right," Tim said, staring at it.

"What? What can't be right? Mary said, trying to look over his shoulder.

"She's about 20 weeks along," Swineheart started,"I counted 5 fetuses. No identical children. I can tell you their genders, too, since it's just about time-"

"No. I mean, maybe...We can wait, right? Until she wakes up...I'd hate to know without her...um.."

"Shit......" is all Mary could say.

"Alright, well you've got a few more minutes with her. We aren't sure when she'll wake up just yet. She'll recover though."

"Thank you, Doctor." Tim held the photos to his chest.

Morgan stepped out of the hospital through the emergency room, so as to avoid Harmony's family. She wasn't sure if they'd treat her as a savior, or the reason this all happened in the first place. Her bandage bulged through her shirt and she knew the pain would come back in a few hours. She had until then to go back and figure out what exactly happened back in that other world. In the parking garage exclusive to Fables, she created another portal back to where they came from, and stepped through.

I hope you liked that one, there's more to come later today ;)

    "When in doubt"

'Mmmm....love me some Pudding n' Pie.'

'OH! This is the cool part, Junior! This guy's limbs get torn off, then thrown into the meat grinder!'

    "Daddy, where did mommy go?"

"She went for a walk, George. She will be back."

My son sat at the foot of the bed, while his sisters played with Barbies on the floor. His legs hung over the edge, as he swung them around. I carefully packed the larger diaper bag with the necessery supplies the kids would need.

"Why are you packing so many things? Are we going on a trip?"

"Daddy has to work tonight, so you and sissys are going over to Nana and Papa's for awhile."

"But, I thought mommy was gonna watch us?"

Sheila poked her head up and glared at her brother.

"NO! Gonna go Papa's house!" She continued playing with her dolls, as I packed the final pair of clothes. "Nana make cookies."

Of course. This became her excuse to visit my parents; Nana makes cookies out the ass and Papa let's them 'rough house' when it comes down to play time.

"Its good for them, Junior. I let you fuckin' kids play like that!"

"Dad, its not safe and I don't want them thinking that's okay, either."

"Hm. Sounds familiar. I said the same thing to your grandfather years ago. Its in their blood, Junior. Can't ignore that. And besides, they are Fables. We can take a few beatings now and then."

"Yes, sweetie. Nana makes cookies." I let out a faint giggle, as I closed the diaper bag. "Okay, let's see here..."

I made a mental note of all the things the kids would need: Diapers, extra clothes, shoes, snacks, wipes, toys. Mom always swore I did too much; even Mary gave me a difficult time when it came to the kids. But mine came with something extra when they were born: Surprises. No matter how prepared you THOUGHT the Porgie and Mary kids were, they always threw in that last minute surprise. The girls especially liked to throw you in a tailspin.

"Okay. Think you kids are all set."

I peered over and noticed a disconsolate look upon his face. He dangled his feet over the edge and began playing with his velcro straps. I walked over and planted a kiss on his head. His freckled face looked up and smiled. I know what was bothering him; Mary had to understand something. Her son was very emotional and needy. Kind of like me, I guess. He required constant attention and affection. When she vanished like this, he was always devestated. I fucking wish she would stop being selfish and understand.

"C'mon, George. Let's get into the car so we can head down to nana and papa's house."

I buckled the girls in first, then assisted George with his. I turned the ignition and as the car warmed up, I pulled out the mirror from the diaper bag. I sat there and whispered her name five times; her image slowly appeared but she refused to turn around. The symbol located on my neck began to burn, so I knew she was receiving my message. But she continued to ignore me.

"C'mon, Mary. Look at me...please." I pratically whispered this, just so the kids couldn't hear. "Please...please..."

Nothing. She was in her true form and from what I could make out, standing in the middle of a very old cemetary. She sat upon a headstone, as she looked out into the mangaled mess of trees and weeds; the moon hung above her head, as his gave an eerie glow to her apperance. I stared at her for a minute, until I sadly placed the mirror in my glove compartment. I never meant to hurt her tonight; there were times I honestly forgot, despite her rough exterior, Mary had 'normal' feelings she liked to hide deep within.

"Daddy-" I tried wiping a tear away. I turned around and found my soon rubbing his eyes. "You okay?"

"Ssh. Lay back and close your eyes, okay?"

"Daddy-" Sheila lifted her blanket up to reveal her face. "Can you play a song on the wadio?"

    "Which one, baby girl?"

    "We are 138. Please?"

I sighed heavily; why can't you ask for Twinkle little star for once? But with a heavy heart and a faint smile, I played her favorite song. She leaned back into her seat, as I drove down the roads from the city that never sleeps.

I reached my parent's place, just as Peter and Ariana departed. At first, she hesitated; probably assumed Mary was with me but when she noticed I was the only one, she let up and assisted Peter with the kids. Before mom and dad made their way to the car, Peter grabbed Sheila.

    "She not here, Junior?"

I closed the driver's door. "Do you see her, Peter?"

"Sorry. Its just-don't you get tired of this? I mean, look-I'm not a therapist of any kind but you can't do this alone. Four small children and when there is ANY sign of trouble, she vanishes into the mirror?"

"Peter, please. I have a long night ahead of me and I'd like to get going before-"

"Yeah, no. I understand. Sorry. I'm just worried-"

Ariana carefully held George, as dad made his way to the car. He carried the twin in his arms and carefully rocked them.

"I 'memeber doin' this to you boys when ya' were little like this. Brings me back, honestly..."

"Thanks for watching them for me."

Dad peered up. Even in the dark and his bowler hat covering half his face, I could see the concern and worry upon his face.

    "So, Mary take off again?"

    "Dad-"

"I'm not gonna' tell you what to do, Junior. You're a fucking big lad now and I'd hate to treat you like you're five again. But this-this can't go on, son. I see what its doin' to you and YOU'RE my main priority, boy."

I carefully placed the diaper bag around his arm. The twins moved for a second but instantly came to a halt when they heard my father's voice. They adored him.

"I gotta go. Tell mom I said hi, okay?" I kissed each of the kids and waved at Ariana."It was nice seeing you again."

"You too, Junior. I'm sorry. I didn't want this-"

    "It's...fine."

The drive to the Trip Trap sure was lonely and miserable; my mind was full of her images and what took place back at the apartment. All I could see was the devestation on her face; disapointment lingered in her eyes, as she vanished into the darkness that consumed the mirror. As I parked the car in the alley located behind the bar, I sat for a moment and rubbed my eyes.

"Fuck's sake, Mary." I whispered into the night, hoping somehow she would hear me. "I didn't mean to-I'm so sorry...I regret nothing. You know that."

There was a sudden pounding on the driver's window. I nearly jumped out of my skin, as I turned to see my uncle Gren. Drunk son-of-a-bitch, I thought, as I carefully got out of the car and turned the alarm on.

"Really? I'd think the age YOU are, uncle Gren, you'd be too old for childish games."

"Nah, Junior. You know I like to poke fun at you."

"Did you just get off of work?"

"Actually, your aunt and I just came from a movie and we needed a drink or two..or three...or-" I caught him, just before he hit the ground. "Huh. Guess you ol' uncle Gren ain't what he used to be."

"Well, let's get you back inside."

We carefully walked around the corner. I still had ten minutes and figured a cigarette would help ease my nerves. As the cloud of heavy smoked lingered from the burning end, I continued thinking about Mary. Fuck. I really prayed she'd find her way to the bar tonight. Or, even better, back to the apartment. But that was asking too much; it was never that easy when it came to Bloody Mary.

It was going to be a long night.

    Chapter 8 soon :)

It's based on the styles of noir movie posters from the early and mid 20th century. Really, I had to do something directly noir related given my name.

I think it's the first acrylic painting I've actually finished, and I know it doesn't look amazing but I'm still pleased with it.

Anyway, Mr Weasel is over on the top-right, below him is Bigby (and if you didn't know that then my painting skills are far worse than I thought), and next to him is Snow White.

Mr Weasel was mostly inspired by the actor John Hannah, and a face I made in Skyrim for the purpose of having something more unique to look at. Snow White is based on the actress Ella Raines, specifically in this photo: http://images.fineartamerica.com/images-medium-large/2-ella-raines-1946-everett.jpg She's the closest person I've seen that resembles how I think Snow would look in real life. Pretty stunning, in my book.

So that's that. As I say, I know it's not great, but I've spent hours doing it and after all that I thought I might as well post it!

  • Lmao yeah. I figured 4 felt like I was copying and 6 felt like too many, so I settled for in the middle, 5. Snow and Winter are both going through similar issues, seeing as Snow had to witness Winter grow up to some extent, and Winter had to see her own daughter grow up. Winter isn't too fond of the idea of her daughter having children already and such.

Harmony's brothers are adorable, I know!

It looks like the issues between Mary and Junior are taking a tole on both of them. There's gotta be a solution, hopefully soon. The kids are still cute as ever, I was surprised the girls were playing with Barbies and not monster trucks XD Poor George, he's so much like his dad. I could picture the kid's face all sad and wanting his mom :( I'm not entirely sure I should like Ariana. Something about her doesn't strike the right chord for me, if you know what I mean. Maybe it's just me though, who knows what happened between her and good ole Mary. I can't wait for more!

  • I opened my eyes, and an extreme wave of deja vu hit me like a tsunami. The room was dark, with the exception of some light from the hallway window. A monitor beside me beeped at even intervals, and the faint humming of an air conditioner filled the room. I noticed someone was in the room, sitting upright in the chair across from my bed.

My head ached as soon as I tried sitting up, and I immediately felt pain shoot across my body, starting from just below my shoulder.

"Shit," I said, though my voice stayed low and raspy.

The figure in the chair across from me jumped and looked up.

    "Harmony?" It was Mary.

I let out a cough, trying to clear my throat.

"Harmony, I can't believe you're awake. Hell yeah, during my watch shift, too!" She seemed so proud of herself. I tried again sitting up, but it was too much for me.

"How long...?" I started. It was hard to breath and talk at the same time.

"Don't worry, it's alright my blue-haired beauty, you should rest. I'll get a nurse in, have her do whatever she has to or whatever. When you feel better, I can bring my boy over, if you'd like."

    I cough again,"Carter? He's allowed over here?"

"Sure is. I'm taking him home tomorrow, Harm."

"Wow, that's great," I say. My eye lids begin drooping, wanting non-coma induced sleep. Mary kisses my forehead like a mother who kisses her child goodnight, and takes off out of the room. I drift back to sleep once more.

Morgan stood in the cottage she presumed Harmony and Tim occupied. It was midwinter already. The last of a few red and white roses were withering off of the bush at the front gate. She entered the home, conscious of the feeling that was returning to her arm.

"As soon as I get back, I'll need more pain meds..." She noted to herself.

She entered the front door and began her investigations.

Just a little bit for now, more later. I hope you liked it!

  • Thanks, I'm pleased you like it :D Her resemblance is almost uncanny; I tried a few actors for Bigby but they just didn't quite match up to him. And if you can draw/paint even one tenth as well as you write I know it'd be great :)

I love it! It's amazing, seriously. And I agree with you, Ella Raines makes a PERFECT Snow White! I love this painting, certainly MUCH better than I can do! And Mr. Weasel is really well done as well.

  • Yeah, I was determined to get this finished in time, unlike my vacation tale! Thanks for saying so :)

Yes! I knew you'd come through with the picture! All of this is very good for an acrylic painting too.

  • Glad you like it! I wish I knew how to draw as easy as you make it look ;) I based Snow White on an actress from around that time period, so it's nice to know that comes across! Mr. Weasel's orange waistcoat wasn't entirely planned, but hopefully it adds to the brilliance :P

I love this! Very well done! Wish I knew how to create images with paint. I LOVE how Snow looks in this picture. She reminds me of the social, classy ladies back in the early 20's and 30's. And Mr. Weasel is looking brilliant as ever!

  • Wondering just now about Morgan investigating and how she will get on, it's only just struck me as odd that the ogre a little bit back had a gun. And now I'm not sure which is more odd, the gun-toting ogre or me only just realising quite what that means. For a short chapter it's sure made me think!

    Chapter 9

    "Blurry"

"What's wrong with you, Junior? You look pathetic."

Penelope handed her brother the leftovers from dinner. As he covered the top with foil, his other sister, Emily bumped into his side.

"HEY! Watch it, Emily! Do you NOT fuckin' see me here?!"

"Ah, so you DID hear her. What's wrong, bro?" Emily reached into the bowl and picked out another Chicken leg. "You sad?"

    "I'm fine. Just...nothing."

"Man, ever snce you came back from Gren JR's birthday party, you have been in a funk. The hell did that water dwelling freaky frog lookin' thing do to ya?" Emily chuckled at her remark.

"Nothing. I'm fine. Just, a lot of homework."

"Homework?" Penny turned the dial on the dish washer. "You're in AP classes, Junior. Since WHEN does homework get you in a funk like this?"

"What is with the questions tonight?! Fuck! Between you two and mom and dad, I'm not sure who is worse!"

Junior finished putting the leftovers away and when it was complete, he walked up to his room. As he walked down the hall, his head began throbbing; the back of his neck felt like fire, as a burning sensation ran down his spine and along his arms. Junior tried to walk it off, as he entered his room and locked the door.

It had been a week since he'd seen her; the image of her true beauty still burned in the back of his mind. As he slept at night, he could clearly see her, haunting his once pleasent dreams. Even at school, while standing before the mirror in the men's restroom, he could make out her image.

"Go away." Junior whispered into the dark, hoping she'd hear him. "Go...away...please! What do you want from me!?"

He reached around, grabbed his neck and became alarmed when he felt the scar; there was now a shape of some kind and the flesh was scorching to the touch.

"The fuck is this?" He glanced at his mirror located beside his computer desk. "Are you...you doing this to me?"

Junior snuck that mirror from the attic. His father, for as long as he could remember, was against mirrors in either the house or club he owned. Unless necessary, he forbid them to be anywhere near the family. His excuse was simple-clutter; he couldn't stand the damn things taking up so much room. As a child, you believe it until you come to your senses and see how insane that logic sounds. He loved his father but sometimes he didn't think things through.

One night, while the family slept, he brought the largest one back to his room. During the day, he hid it under his bed; no one other then himself and his brothers came in and even if someone HAD found it, who's going to say something? Since the birthday party at his cousins, his fascination with the insentient object took control of his curiosity; her apperance in the bathroom, their first encounter and the many more he secretly wished to have.

Junior had heard of her name growing up. Who didn't know the legend of Bloody Mary? Every mundy, Folker and even Fable had some idea on the mysterious being haunting the reflecting surfaces. He refused to taunt the figure, fearing the worse; flesh eating, blood drinking and sacrafice of his remains. But when he found the courage (and was dared one night by his cousin), Junior found himself in the bathroom, summoning up the one thing that caused fear in the hearts of many.

Junior continued sitting on his bed, as he rubbed his neck.

"Hello? I know you are there. I can feel you watching me. Plus, this fucking thing hurts like hell, so-"

The mirror began to vibrate, as it shimmied on the ground and began to glow a bright red. Junior stood up and placed both hands on the glass. He closed his eyes and did the only thing that seemed to force her from the shadows.

"Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary-"

Before he could come to his senses hif this was a brilliant idea, the room was suddenly filled with a crimson red, as she slowly stepped out from the mirror and leaned against his desk. Her arms were folded, as she watched the teenaged boy rub his eyes in disbelief.

    "It...worked-"

"Well, duh, Porgie. Now I know you're a smart kid. I've seen it." She traced her finger along his desk until she came across his AP Calculus book. "Like this shit here. Really? I can barely process two plus two, let alone all this shit. do you REALLY need to know what A is or the sum of negative 56?"

Junior was still, as Mary continued fumbling through his belongings. She came across a picture of his father and mother and began examining it.

"Hm. Georgie motherfuckin' Porgie. Rumors were true. Didn't believe them until I saw you for myself-"

She paused, noticing what was being said. She placed the picture back down and watched, as Junior walked up slowly.

"What? Oh, yeah. This is how I REALLY look on a good day, kid. Trust me. You caught me on one of my shitty nights." She couldn't comprehend why Junior was silent and so intreiged by her apperance. Surely being a Fable, he KNEW the stories. "You uh, okay, Porgie? You have a stupid look on your face-"

"I'm just surprised you're not upset. I summoned you from your sleep. I-"

Mary's laughter echoed, as she took a seat. "Sleep?! The fuck, kid! Sleep? No, kid. Not sleep. Its a fuckin' hassle when you kids think its cute calling my name. I'm doing 'normal' behavior when you fuckers call me-eating, shopping, taking a walk-fuckin' taking a shit at times, I swear and I'm SUPPOSED to answer back."

    "Well, I was dared and-"

"Yeah. I know. Those fuckin' Grendels think its adorable, then I show up and they assume their build can take me on. Please. I've had much larger for dinner before..."

Junior was not sure how to reply back. She leaned back into his pillows, kicked up her legs and closed her eyes. Junior decided it was best to keep his stand and wait. While she laid in silence, he observed her beauty. He couldn't understand why he felt this sensual feeling run over his body; even the mark behind his neck no longer burned. So, it was her all along.

    "Uh-"

"Oh, where are my manners. Nice to see you again, kid. Been expecting your call."

    Junior was shocked. "You...you were?"

"Yeah. Don't think I can't see ya through that mirror. Been pacing back and forth, mentioning me, trying to summon up the courage-"

    "You watch me?! What the-"

Mary chuckled. "Oh, don't worry. Your PRIVATE moments are safe, kid." She looked around. "Man, this place looks so different. what with the pictures of woman in bikinis, fast cars...what band is that? Who the fuck is Relient K?"

"Its nothing-what do you mean by-"

Mary stood up from the bed and casually walked around. Junior followed, fearing something would go terribly wrong.

"You were scared that night, huh kid?"

    "What?"

"When you called me into the bathroom."

"Well, yeah. I didn't think Bloody Mary looked like, well....THAT!"

"Yeah, that was on a good day, though."

"Hate to see your BAD days, than." Junior laughed. "How come you didn't, you know-kill me?"

Mary sighed deeply. "Well, least you didn't piss yourself or pass out. I can't tell how how many fuckers pass out in their own piss."

She noticed Junior messing with his neck. She turned him around and examined the mark. Junior closed his eyes; perhaps she would make his death quick and leave something for his parents to bury at his funeral. But instead of claws and teeth digging into his neck, he could feel her finger trace the mark.

    "What, uh. What are you-"

"Fuck, Porgie you talk a lot! Be quiet for a minute."

She placed her palm on his neck, clamped her fingers tightly around his neck and held it there for several seconds. There was a second of pain, then a feeling of euphoria and intense feeling of intamacy and sexual attachment. She released his neck, as the teen turned around. Mary stepped back into the mirror and blew Junior a kiss before disappearing into the dark.

"Wait!" Junior tried reaching but the mirror rejected him. "Mary, wait! What did-will I see you again?"

She cackled. "You know the rules, Porgie. I'll be seeing you around."

Little did Junior know, this wouldn't be the last time he'd come into contact with Bloody Mary.

    Chapter 10 soon :)

Ah, yes. Junior gave us a small peak on how he and Mary began their wirlwind affair. I'll throw a few of these in there; right now, he's trying to understand why Mary is acting the way she is. We will find out in upcoming chapters. :) Oh! Before I forget I made this for you, Emmy because I love Tim and Harmony like a fat kid loves cake. I pictured her looking just like Snow and Winter.

  • Yes; that is one of the main reasons Georgie took out all the mirrors. She 'marked' him and as he's gotten older, their connection grows. He doesn't know that just yet but she does. :) Junior just assumed for years it was a birth mark. Nope. XD

holy fuck i love you ;-; But in all seriousness... I seriously love the way you drew Harm and Tim, it's excellent.

As for your chapter, my favorite part was when Mary laughed and told Junior that she does normal shit whenever she's called into action by dumb teenagers looking for a scare XD The whole chapter was awesome, showing the bond between the two before they really truly noticed it.

...what band is that? Who the fuck is Relient K?"~ Laughed so hard, I actually own a few songs from that band X3

The whole chapter was great, and it really showed their chemistry well. Mary is hilarious! Poor Junior, he had no idea what was going to happen the whole time! I loved it.

And again, I love, love, LOVE the picture ;)

  • No problem. I've been wanting to draw them for the longest time but I've been so busy. Glad you liked it. :)

I'm trying to throw certain chapters in like this; I noticed it helps with questions you guys may have. Also, I love Relient K. Seems like something she'd be 'WTF is that'. She comes off abrasive but in the end, she loves her pudding n pie. :)
