Which scene was more sad?
Which scene got to you more? Lee's death in Season One? Or Kenny's farewell to Clementine in Season Two? Take note that I'm not talking about which character relationship means more, or which characters I like better. Lee is my favorite character in the series and obviously his relationship with Clem was stronger than what Clem has with Kenny. That being said, I would personally say Kenny's farewell scene hit me harder.
I have always been with Kenny, through the hardest of times. It was so brutally difficult to finally make the choice to leave one another. I knew it was the right choice, no matter how painful it was for both Clem and Kenny. Kenny had finally reached a level of peace, knowing that he had finally accomplished what he had set out to do, knowing that the only person he has left is in a safe place. He sacrificed everything for the people he loved. I couldn't take this away from Kenny, no matter how much Clem and him wanted to stay together. This scene was the definition of bittersweet. Even for people who do not like Kenny, I think you have to be happy for both of these characters in this instance. Neither character wanted to part with each other, but they knew what the right choice was. Really powerful stuff. Lee would be so, so proud of Kenny in this situation.
Anyway I could really go on and on about this scene (the stuff before it was really touching as well, racing Clem up the hill, laughing, ect.). Lee's ending was massively depressing, but maybe that's why it didn't hit me as hard. I was also maybe a little more ready for it to happen. Definitely a very, very, very close 2nd though. The Kenny scene is a different type of sad. Kind of "Fox and the Hound" esque.. if you know what I mean.

Wish I could find a better quality video, but all the other ones cut Kenny off mid speech.. which is really lame. Cut off the first part of what Kenny had to say as well, but what can ya do. Not sure where there isn't a better video out there.

Kenny ending. Definately.
DON'T MAKE ME CHOOSE!!!
Now that is hard to say because I literally cried on both endings. I want to say Kenny's, but Lee's death made me a bit depressed for a few days. I guess Lee's since it had a bigger impact on me.
Luke's death.
To be honest, Kenny's ending probably would have probably hit me harder if it was KENNY who was the one protecting Clem all throughout season 1 and season 2, or maybe to some extent, if it was Lee who was saying goodbye to Clementine from Wellington.
While I cried at the "Staying in Wellington" ending, and Lee's death...I feel like Lee's death hit me harder. That shit actually made me contemplate my life! lol
that ending is so saad
Lee definitely, Kenny didn't come close to Lee's awesomeness in my eyes. Losing Lee was more tough than losing kenny
For me, I'd say Lee. Having said that though, I was also cut up at the Kenny ending.
The Kenny scene had better pacing, and a more bittersweet ending. It's much more enjoyable to watch multiple times compared to the Lee scene. Both scenes are amazing, and while nothing could really top the build-up and sweetness of Lee's goodbye, Kenny's goodbye has a better flow to it. It feels more like a parent saying his last farewell to his child before going to war.
I cried waaaay more at Lee's death. I did cry at Kenny's farewell to Clem, though.
HE'S NOT DEAD DAMMIT QUIT SAYING THAT
Clem leaving Kenny outside Wellington takes the cake.
Kenny's goodbye got me misty, but Lee's death ruined me.
Kenny ending for me because he is my favorite character in the whole game.
Regardless of how you feel about his level of awesomeness though, I think just the style of how the scene was worked was really powerful. Lee's my favorite character in the game, and I still got hit harder by Kenny's scene.
Did you ever see the movie "The Fox and the Hound"? May seem like an odd thing to compare to, but the endings are stylistically the same in pretty much every sense. Compare the old woman to Kenny, and the fox (I think his name was Tad..?) to Clem. Even after all of these years, the ending to that movie is brutally sad... and I don't really even remember anything about the characters at this point.

If you never saw this movie for some reason it might be hard to see what I'm talking about.. but thought I'd give it a shot anyway.
Kenny's scene.
I actually teared up at the Jane ending with Gill, it was tears of joy i guess.
Oh, it was still a really sad scene with Kenny, just think Lee's made me more sad for a longer time overall. (still grieving lee)
Lee's death was saddest IMO. But I cried more at the Kenny scene. I was crying tears of joy and tears of sadness at the same time.
My Kenny didn't came in "No Time Left" to help my Lee to find Clementine so in my case your point isn't valid
Um, I was actually just replacing Lee with Kenny, I was just saying Kenny's ending would have hit me harder, IF HE WAS THE ONE who found Clem in the house and stuck with her in season 1 and season 2 and Kat and duck don't exist, it was just Kenny and Clem for most of the story.
ALL Y'ALL ARE JUST MAKIN' IT WORSE!
S1 Lee's
S2 Luke's .Mainly because it could have been avoided sooooooooooo easily.
Why give us two failing options to save him .So fucking stupid...
Luke was more of a shock factor thing to me. Similar to Carley in season one.
Well, I actually cried. Like freaking sobbed when Lee died. With Kenny I teared up. So Lee wins. xD
HE AIN'T LIKE THE OTHERS.
Lee.
For sure.
It's close, but I have to go with Kenny's farewell. I'd accepted that Lee was dead from the moment that he got bitten, while with Kenny it looked like everything would be okay for him, Clem, and AJ. Don't get me wrong, Lee's death still destroyed me. It's just like I said, I'd accepted it before I had to deal with it. And seeing Kenny give up everything, his new "family" and his dream of actually getting to Wellington with Sarita that he'd had since Episode 2 wrecked me emotionally. After all that pain and suffering, he was forced to give up what little he had left. And he did, gladly.
S1 ending was tearful...
The end credits scene... so sad ;-;
I thinks lee's dearg was more sad than the ending of season 2 because there are alternive endings... if you got to wellington without kenny, i really cried like a baby. But nobody knows if kenny will die or not
So its not that sad as the death of lee
Both endings are very sad, lees is much sader because he really died
But the ending with kenny is also sad but we don't know if he dies soon
Kenny's one
