It's like putting a diseased animal out of its misery.
Personally,I think Telltale did a great job in giving us a fulfilling closure on Kenny's death,I'm not like one of those certain Kenny's fans that expected a horrifying death on a deuteragonist character,we may have history, but it's not worth it to let that madman suffer more or even wreck havoc on anyone else,he's in the dark place, his madness consumed him, enough is enough.
Also,it reminds us how season 1 goes,Clementine can shoot a nutjob like Stranger=Kenny while saving her mentor/guardian like Lee=Jane,I'm so glad we got this similiarity,it just goes to show Clementine still have a sense of survival and sanity, this kind of ending is so climatic & fitting to Walking Dead lore,as it has decent pragmatism & hope for a better life with a rational character.
Going back with Jane and start over at Howe's is the best decision ever.

The best decision according to you
Yes,and I will respect whatever your choice is,as long you respected mine.
Must...contain...Kenny fanboyism...
Of course. I realise that Telltale intentionally made it that no choice is ultimately right.
Yes, because everyone knows using a hapless baby to trigger a psychotic breakdown in a man who's already been pushed to the edge, while endangering an eleven-year-old's life in the process, is entirely justified.
I admit that both of them are having emotional problem during that condition, but it doesn't change the fact that Kenny already gone in his mind, even the smallest bump can make him explode again,Clementine can't just keep being his therapist, sooner or later there will always be condition where Clementine can't settle him down from his psychotic explosion, and that can endanger anyone.
you're actually comparing egocentric jane with caring and symphatetic lee? GTFO with your bullshit.
Kenny may not be perfect but i would let him take care of Clem before even considering that bitch Jane. You never know when she'll decide to manipulate into brainwashing Clem again for her own purpose.
You make me laugh.
Yes to everything in this post.
The fact is that Jane saved the group during the gunfight while normally she would've run away is a prove that she cared & sympathized to Clementine, without her, that russian dude would've blow your beloved kenny's brain out,she manipulated Clem for Clementine's purpose, she knew that Clementine wouldn't be safe with the walking time bomb Kenny,it's absolutely a prove that Jane is concerned about Clementine's well being, that's why I choose to leave Clementine to Christa & Omid either,Kenny already lost it.
What's that supposed to mean?
Did you let the family in?
That Randy guy,the father, seemed a bit fishy. Clem and Jane should lock his wife and kid away somewhere and play the "I accidentaly got them killed" game to see if he's not a psycho.
He's looking up at what I see as a picture of "4chan.org" in big, bold letters.
Yes,I let them in,they have a little kid, which makes them less likely to cause intended trouble.
Maybe, but Jane wouldn't pull that stuff because he's not the type of person like "I have the best plan here, you do as I say and I don't care what you think about it" since Randy seems still have a full family which makes him more likely to be sane.
But don't you think he would have snapped if they did that?
I agree that it could have been that way but the way the scene was written I don't think it was. It was strongly implied by Jane that she killed the baby, that hardly makes Kenny a monster for going off the way he did. Not that he wasn't losing it even more than usual, but yeah.
PLOT TWIST
HA, HE'S NOT EVEN MY KID! HE'S BLACK!
To be fair,Clementine is not Lee's kid,but it doesn't stop him from being a father figure for her.
I was expecting Kenny to die before the season was over and I think it was done appropriately. I'm just glad his storyline is wrapped up, hopefully, for good.
Yea,it's time to move on from the old wounded warrior and his crap.
i almost expectecd a fallout choice
"Your a rabid dog that needs to be put down!"
i almost expectecd a fallout choice
"Your a rabid dog that needs to be put down!"
Except Kenny isn't a dog, he's a person...and both Jane and Kenny were mad dogs.
Jane only really mad at that situation,at the rest of the gameplay she's really well thought & reasonable.
Why would they do that? there's no need for that.
Regardless of how it goes,Jane has proven a point that Kenny is beyond repair, and that's the only reason why she did that.
Yup thats her entire thought process. She was bored in the zombie apocolypse and just wanted to have a little fun.
Seriously you Kenny apologists are funny. Jane's the psycho for "manipulating" Kenny into something that was there from the start. The fact that he admits as much before dying proves it.
The irony here is siding with Jane is siding with Kenny because now he's free and thats what he needed.
Kenny drives everyone else away with his madness. And yet Jane manipulated him... Its like Kenny has no control over his actions. Jane manipulated him therefore he is absolved of any responsibility of his actions.
He's saying because Jane did that with Kenny she'll do that with everyone because she's crazy or some bullshit. Ignoring the fact that this new family hasn't given Jane any reason to. The fact that Jane defers to your judgement in handling the family shows she respects Clem even to the point of making her the leader.
Kenny the Madman? what the fuck? he protected Clem and Alvin Jr all the time, he didn't leave in hard times like Jane did, Fuck that Psyco bitch! she was the reason those russian came after the group and almost let the whole group die because of her ''Sexy time'' with Luke, Kenny never betrayed the group or whatever.
Your post and comparisons are ridiculous.
/meaning sick manipulative b****/
I still wish there was an ending where you kill Kenny, tell Jane off after she reveals her crazy plan, but still end up making it to Wellington by yourself. I liked the Kenny death scene. It was nice and emotional and it felt right, and I felt pretty bad about it afterwards. But I just didn't like the Jane endings as much. I don't like the idea of going back to Howe's and rebuilding it. It made me feel like even though I had killed Kenny and somewhat forgiven Jane (barely), we still went back to that horrible place and we were still dwelling on the past. But making it to Wellington makes it seem more like a fresh new start to me, rather than returning to Carver's base.
Kenny respects Clem's decision to kill him, leave him after finding AJ, and her choice at Wellington.
What's your point?
Is these kind posts looking like copy pastas to anyone else?
Or is it just me?
If Kenny was so beyond repair, he would never have gotten Clem and AJ safe to Wellington and then sacrificed himself for them.
At this point, you're just in denial. Anyone one at this point in the apocalypse would have snapped the way Kenny did when it came to family. Hell, i can imagine even good ol' optimistic from Season 1 Christa snapping at Jane if she pulled some crap like that on her now in Season 2 .
Yes... lets take advice from Joker.. The very essence of sanity.
Protecting how? by beating up Arvo? that's one of the reason of Bonnie & Mike betrayal, because of HIM! even if she left for a while, she returned to save the day and willing to make up for it,only for Clementine, and you forget that Jane only make an offer to Luke who passionately accept it,so don't put the blame on her.
He may not betray but he fucks up every group he join, look at what happened to Walter,or Alvin had Clementine not intervene, and the betrayal that I just mentioned is obviously because Kenny act like a giant dickhead, they were afraid of him,he should be the one who responsible when Clementine got shot.
