About the Kenny V. Jane War....

Please.Stop.Fighting! They are both more than flawed characters! Dicussion is great but this has turned into a literal forum war.

Kenny -

  • Mentally unstable
  • Has severe anger issues and is really dangerous when upset.

- Refuses to stop fighting even if Clem tries to break up the fight.

Jane -

  • Manipulative and untrusting of new people (with good reason sometimes)
  • Lies about a very serious manner and ends up getting herself or another "group member" killed.
  • Refuses to stop fighting when Clem asks.

So...see! they are both flawed characters and no option is better than the other, so for Uncle Pete's sake, can we stop fighting about silly things? In a video game no less!

Believe it or not, that's unintentional, for some reason the last point on Kenny's list is oversized, if you look below the second point, there is a third one.

Kill them all, let Uncle Pete sort 'em out. Kenny vs Jane should be Them vs Clem. We should be backing Clem, not an irrational manipulator or an irrational loose cannon. In this world Clem and AJ are going to be in danger every second of every day. They can't act like that. If Jane is so willing to manipulate and if Kenny is so easily manipulated they are both liabilities. That they did it for Clem and the baby means it could happen any time. Clem has been through enough. Kenny is not life, he is not love. He is pain. Jane is not a big sister, she is Machiavelli in a leather jacket. Team Clem for life.

  • Are you speaking to me or Bloody Ma...Mr.Dalton? If you were speaking to me, Yes, I did. But with the multitude of Jane VS. Kenny Threads, I figured a positive thread wouldn't hurt. (Also, that was two days ago....)

Who me? Never how dare you good sir!

  • I really like both the characters... The choices were THE hardest EVER in the series for me. Eventually it went down with me killing Kenny....

  • Ha! try to say that when I put a bullet in Kenny's gut!

  • The fact that ppl are fighting over choices kinda says it was a good episode. If the choice was easy, we wouldnt fight about it :P

They may both be mad at that situation, but after that,Jane will return to be a sane & rational person, while Kenny remain as an emotional wreck.

  • Have you even watched the Kenny endings? He redeems himself fully; in the midst of his trauma he does the right thing and gives up the two things that are making his life worth living so that they can be safe in Wellington.

The Jane ending is just some boring moral choice, in my opinion. (I like the family, though)

  • when you save jane, she wants clem to forgive her for what she did.

when you save kenny,he wants clem to believe him and and he promises to protect aj and her.

    that's the point i think.

  • The argument is starting to get tired. I took a couple days away from this forum and ended up arguing on Reddit and Youtube about it. Everyone has their own opinons. Stop acting like those with different ones are evil or idiots. I'm talking in the general sense and not to anyone in particular. But some of the people I got into it about it are kinda scary.

  • Pffft you will regret everything all of you.

  • He redeems because he just realized what an emotional wreck he was,and he knows that Clementine wouldn't be safe to be near him.

Kenny ending is too cliche BTW.

  • Yup... I noticed that. Thats why they always turn to insulting Jane with "evil" or "bitch" or whatever. Whatever it takes to make them feel better about letting Kenny become a murderer because of one mistake.

We're not all like that. Sorry to be represented in such a bad light. I'm sure there are respectful Jane fans too, but I've been seeing just as many obnoxious ones.

  • There's honestly no excuse for what Jane did. She acted as if she'd killed a child and escalated the situation, which is justification enough to not interfere. Kenny was completely right about her.

Also, Kenny deserves more loyalty being a far older friend than the shifty and unpredictable Jane.

Which is why I rewound my episode and kept Kenny. The best ending possible.

  • Your right Uncle Pete would be disgusted to be link with scum like them.

  • letting kenny become a murderer is better than letting clem become that just for a lie.

there are so many reasons that proves saving kenny is the best choice but it isn't in real world to worry about it.

at the end all choices goes to one road,i bet both kenny and jane will be dead in the episode 1 or 2 of season 3 if you saved one of them

  • With someone who goes to Defcon1 if the baby is even hinted at being in danger or someone who may not even care about the baby she'd probably be better on her own.
