But The Critique What The Fuck Wants !?

I mean, seriously!?!?!? Give 6 or 7 at this episode!? Are they doped!?

But they are capable of evaluating a product!?

This episode deserves a 9.5 or a 10!!!!

What do you think?

I reviewed this episode, gave it 9.8/10 its my favourite of Season 2 :) who cares about reviews some critics make, its about how you feel about the episode that actually matters.

  • Well, critic is imoportant to understand if Telltale continue the series.... xD

The Xbox Version got an 86. Which is Damn good. Though I personally would give it a 100.

  • I give this episode a 7-8 depending on how I personally look at it. still better than amid the ruins... shit lol anything is better than that.

I'd give it a 10/10, there wasn't one thing that I actually disliked in this episode.

  • 3/10 (3 to the optical aspect´s)

I always laugh when people think a 6 or 7 out of 10 is a horrible score. The episode was definitely flawed in a number of areas so this seems fair. Though not ideal for a season finale I guess.

  • MetroGameCentral reviewed it again, they always gave the episodes mixed reviews, even Season One's.

What really shocks me is Gametrailers' one, it's unprofessional and it looked like it was more of a rant. Plus, the guy seems to think that the only proper ending they're was is the Jane one.

  • It was awesome, made up for some of the boring episodes :)

  • I understand where they're coming from, but after what happened in episode 4 I enjoyed finale a lot.

The biggest problems I see is making a stupid mistake by swapping Burricko with Vitali which could just take 2 minutes of playing finale to see that mistake and removing choice to shoot Mike.

  • My personal score for the final episode is a 5. I'm not gonna say why though...although, the 'dream' thing we got near towards the end is the only reason that score isn't a 4. Season 1's finale was better in my opinion :(

This episode was easy 9.5/10, maybe even 10. Not sure what the reviewers want.

I enjoyed the length and hubs of episode 4, but the dialogue was pretty much awful. Since noone died in the standoff they could have kept Nick and Sarah till that point.

I love episode 5, but since I was pretty invested in both Kenny and Jane, you guys have to understand it's hard to pull off emotional ending where the main character doesn't die. Everyone was invested in Lee since you played as him, some people hated both Kenny and Jane so the ending didn't have impact on them. Well if you don't try to understand side characters, you can't be really mad if the ending didn't have any impact on you.

Unrealism is the other thing, but it's a game, the realism can always work ONLY to a certain point. You think all this crazy stuff that happened in a month of season 1 and in a month of season 2 would happen in real life? People are complaining about plot convenience, but not a single game would work without that - especially a story game.

I would understand giving the finale 7/10 if you are REALLY demanding, but giving it lower is dumb. I'll keep my rating between 9.5-10.

  • official reviews most of the time rate cod games 9/10 so who gives a fuck about what they rate twd we all know they are most likely wrong about it

I can never take Metro seriously after he said that Clementine was 8 in his review for episode 2 when she is obviously older and she clearly has the option to say that she is 11 in the same episode so it's obvious he doesn't pay much attention to the story.

I think he's only playing it to review due to it's popularity and not because he enjoys the game.

  • It was the perfect end to a perfect second season. I honestly don't know what some critics were expecting...

  • I liked the episode, but it took reaching the ending scene to make me love it.

  • i bet they got the jane or alone endings

  • Well, I don't give a shit what they think.

IGN rated 'Amid The Ruins' with 6/10? So what? For me it's a 9/10.

Some noname reviewer rated 'No Going Back' with 7/10? So what? It's a 10/10 for me.

  • I even made fun of them in their episode 3 review after that in the comment. Bringing up what you said there actually.

It just irritates me that they're considered reviewer via Metacritic. They're always the ones to reduce the score. Granted, I'm really surprised that No Going Back actually has less favourable scores that most of the episodes, if that episode wasn't good enough for the "Professional critics" TWD is somewhat doomed.
