Now that I know Mike can die it kinda confirms that he won't return 
It's pretty dumb that both Mike and Bonnie can die but not arvo.
Mike is probably my favorite character in the whole game which makes me even more sad ;(

He can't anymore. It has been patched, so it might just be possible that he returns.
Something I'm really curious about is why a lot of people seem to really like Mike. I found his character the most unremarkable, to say the least, and aside from being big enough to give Clem a boost once in a while he really doesn't contribute much to the group. That line about the Confederate coat was funny, but aside from that he's pretty meh, in my opinion.
If it were patched then don't you think they were planning something with mike to possibly return?

Clementine could shoot him when she discovers him trying to take the truck with Arvo.
They changed him from determinant to alive.Im sure they will do something with him at a DLC or season 3.He seemed a funny dude but left Clementine back while she was shot.FUCK YOU,MIKE.

I saw a video where, when time runs out wether to [Threaten] or [Give Gun], she automatically shoots him. But I've also seen a vine where Clem actually has to point the 'mouse' at him and push R1 (the button of action in PS3 version).
Too bad they removed it. Though, better yet, I would've shot Arvo.
My reactions towards Mike:
Episode 3: "He looks like Lee"
Episode 4: "lol, "I'd eat the shit out of that Raccoon", Mike you're so awesome!"
Episode 5: "You friggin a-hole, how dare you steal our stuff and leave us behind!"
