Telltale - Focus more on the walking dead?
So maybe its just my opinion, but I feel the zombie apocalypse coupled with the telltale type game is absolutely perfect. The wolf among us was a great game, but I didnt feel emotionaly attached to the characters, just, wow this is a cool storyline. With the walking dead however I am astonished how attached I get to the characters and how much I care about them. With Telltale expanding onto borderlands and game of thrones I cant help but feel that the quality of the walking dead will drop and so will the rate at which we get the episodes, which is already painfully long. I suppose its nice they're expanding into other games, but borderlands and game of thrones arent really the games id associate with a multiple choice ethics type game that telltale provides. I do however feel that the walking dead is and should be the jewel in their crown and should be front and center when it comes to priorities. Maybe its just because I was a bit disappointed in season 2 and the way it was so different to season 1 and think it may have been due to TWAU and they may have rushed. Or it could be the fact that with 4 games on their hands in production the team will be overloaded with work and I dont want that to affect the quality of the walking dead, which for me is a game that comes around once in a generation. I dont think there will be a game for a very, very long time which will affect me in the same way which the walking dead does. I know im being protective but I have every right to be, i desperately want season 3 not to suffer and wish telltale would go back to writing it like season 1 was written (more hubs and exploration, interaction and immersion, making characters count opposed to all out action which i feel like they got affected by THWAU and brought that same sort of action into TWD which wasnt the best idea)
