They totally screwed him up. Not intentionally, due to his way better endings than Jane, but because they subliminally FORCED players to save Jane over him. They made him look like a complete psychopath when he was trying to kill Jane, and they made Jane out to be some weak damsel, so of course the player's instinct is to shoot Kenny. I wish they had made it more fair, and now if Telltale continues Clem's story, they'll choose a cannon ending by how many people shot Kenny, in which a lot did. ARGH.

But come on, you're being ignorant. The game is already biased as it is towards presenting Kenny as a sympathetic character and giving him honorable send-offs. You're never in any way FORCED to kill him - indeed, the game gives you plenty of options to forgive him - and plenty of people already hate Jane because she dared oppose the Great Wounded Warrior. If you killed him and complain about being forced to do so, it's only your own fault.
Even when you get to kill Kenny, he gets a far more respectable and peaceful death than either Nick or Sarah. Which personally bothers me - a genuinely nice, innocent young girl is condemned to be eaten alive, screaming in agony while her 'friends' refuse to help her, and a troubled young man in search of redemption instead dies without any real reaction from anyone. As far as I'm concerned, they were far more in need of 'redemption' than some angry old bastard whom I had grown sick of.

Hell, I wish Nick was the "Kenny" of Season 2. Telltale even seemed to want us to feel that way by how he was presented in Episode 1's trailer...
This is exactly what the Kenny Endings represent.
TWD is all about making you feel shitty and guilty. Telltale didn't "screw" Kenny so much as make it more difficult to get his superior ending.
Go and watch the people who get terrible non-Kenny endings react to Kenny endings or look at the youtube comments from LPs that shoot Kenny where they dump all over the LPer for screwing up, it's hilarious.

If Kenny didn't get screwed why is he the only guy you get a chance to shoot and kill 2 times or leave him in the snow or leave him at wellington. I mean really what fucking games ask you if you want to kill a character then after your decision not to they immediately ask again like are you sure you don't wanna kill him?? lol This game is like final destination and I was shocked there wasn't an ending where Clem died lol they're saving it for season 3:)
There was no trick Kenny once again was in a rage to kill someone and you could kill him or let it happen. I dont. see why the aftermath changes that
I'm sick of kenny's crap anyway, two seasons of being left to be eaten cause I dont agree with every single thing he does, yet the game forces me to be with him and support him.
I shot Kenny...felt bad but he's dead in my game! My main problem was everyone saying how Jane was right and she doesn't even need forgiveness. My feelings all bullshit aside is adults in this game are useless and dangerous. And all of them fight about stupid stuff always. Didn't they ever watch Bambii. If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. At least for a day or two lol grumpy ass bastards. Also in the Car Kenny and Jane totally act like a married couple on the verge of divorce even putting Clem in the middle for no reason. Clem should have stayed asleep and just keep dreaming of Lee

YES... I blame TTG for this one. Giving us options like SHOOT KENNY and LOOK AWAY when kenny is on top of Jane is forcing your hand.
I bet if Jane was on top with knife you would shoo Jane. Or at least they could give you option SHOOT KENNY and LET KENNY KILL JANE. In such instense moment it's really necessary to be really clear about choices.

The only thing I kind of wanted was an option to shoot Jane after you find out she lied. Like If I don't shoot kenny to save Jane I can shoot him right after he kills her. Technically that wouldn't make sense if i just choose not to shoot him but never is Jane an option. I think the real reason why people disliked Jane was because she tricked some of us into killing someone we didn't want to kill. She screwed with our trust and messed up our heads. Some felt it was Kenny's fault and that's fine but most Jane forgivers refuse to see the part she played in it all and just claim Kenny had it coming.
