I'm going to be pissed...
...if Telltale decide on a canon ending. This isn't a hate thread against any of the characters, or who you should have gone with and why. But in my ending, I'm walking off with Kenny. I don't want to be plonked with Jane down in the hardware store just because the majority chose that. If that happens, then truly, our choices don't matter.
This may be coincidence, but I think a lot of people who play The Walking Dead are copying YouTuber choices, I've looked at popular YouTuber choices and they all chose the most popular choice, and they got to play before everyone else. When I played on the Wednesday it came out on XBL, most people were with Kenny... but now most people are with Jane and the family... Hmm?
Anyway, there shouldn't be a specific canon ending because that just ruins the whole aspect of choices.

I don't think there will be a canon ending. I'm sure they will have a time skip where we will all end up in the same place or we will all have different intros. I don't think telltale would do that
Maybe there will be a DLC, offing Kenny/Jane and sending us towards the beginning of season 3.
That would be a good idea. It would get everyone on the same page for the new season
In playing dead they said they would think of something to start Season 3 off. I don't think anyone would buy Season 3 if they went, "You were with Kenny or alone? Thats cool. Just kidding have fun with Jane, k bye."
Every ending will probably sooner or later come up to one place. Or there will be a time skip, which leads to the actual story.
Right?
Nothing influenced my choice. I didnt watch any playthroughs endings before I played. I think probably it's going to be a new protragonist anyway.
Your avatar makes Clem look so chubby.
The majority didn't go with Jane. Either my statistics are wrong or..
Lol she does look chubby in my profile picture. Its so adorable XD
I honestly think we'll end up in Wellington.
Now, hear me out, people with Jane or alone or with Kenny.
There could be a DLC which is unique for everyone.
If you stayed at Wellington, you will find Kenny's dead body/walker at some point.
If you were with Kenny, he will die, but ask you to go back to Wellington and they let you in.
If you were alone, Clem finds Wellington and the characters you might have left (if you didn't kill both of them) will be found dead.
If you were alone with Jane, you decide to search for Wellington because supplies are running out. Jane dies on the way, and you also find walker Gill aswell as Randy and Patricia who killed themselves out of grief.
If you were with the family, they are against that idea and there is a fight between you and them, in which Jane and Randy aswell as Patricia die, and you can decide to kill Gill or not. If you do so, Clem finds Wellington alone. If you choose to let him live, he will get eaten by walkers later on.
To be honest I think there's a good chance it'll be resolved in DLC before the third series (or maybe in the first few episodes of the third series).
At first not, but now 70% of players shot Kenny and about 50% are with Jane, while 20-25% are alone.
I think this will Clem's last season as a protagonist. And as much as I love the Walking Dead I wouldn't mind them ending it all together just my opinion is all.
Where do people get the idea that there is only 1 canon ending.
Did we play different games? The whole point of the Telltale TWD Games is that choices matter and we end up with different people alive or dead. People who hate or love us. They gave us the option for different endings, which means all endings are canon.
Same here, it just makes sense. All endings leave everything resolved.
Yeah, I got my perfect ending, walking off with Kenny, and people who don't like Kenny got their perfect ending with Jane. Story concluded, everybody wins.
I'd like a fresh start for S3, wouldn't mind some cameos though [Bonnie, Mike and Arvo].
