One thing I didn't like...
...credit music.
Yes, you heard me right. Nothing about Jane and Kenny.
Don't get me wrong, "Alive Inside" is a great song and it fits well in a TWDG soundtrack, but I was expecting something else to end this season. After all the songs we've got (emotional and perfect - Anadel, Janel Drewis, Devics) and Season 1 Finale "Take Us Back", No Going Back ending was somewhat empty.
Then again, that could be intentional - many endings and one instrumental song to encourage you to reflect. If it was, didn't work for me.
Please, use this thread to NOT argue about the endings and stuff.

I liked Alive Inside being the ending music. I think it felt right ;-;
Agreed, was expecting something more emotional.
But that clem gif is so cute. omg
As long as they didn't have Darude Storm right?
WHY DID YOU POST THE SECOND VIDEO?The song..The picture..the feels..It made me cry ;_;
I actually thought it was a nice touch. This song has represented Clementine and Lee for a while now. If this was indeed the end of her story, great job. If not, it's still an emotional song that brings back the feels and I love listening to.
I was kinda hoping for credits music too
Yeah, I still like the song itself. Whole soundtrack is amazing.
Yeah, wasn't Anadel supposed to write credit music for No going back? They said so on Facebook I think.
They did? I don't know.
sorry for the delay, I mean this:
I would have been satisfied with that ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I'm pretty sure they're talking about "In The Water" and some of their other songs used on TWD like "Remember me" or the No Going Back trailer music.
Or even Amid The Ruins trailer music, I belive this post was published some time ago.
I was kinda disappointed too. But at least trailer had an awesome music. Does anyone know the name of it?
If you mean the reveal trailer, its In the water anadel remix
I've been trying to find it too but no one's uploaded it to youtube yet.
In the water anadel remix was amazing, I loved The way it showed Clem going from a decently happy young girl, to a matured, afraid very young woman. Lee talked to her as if he'd be there with her forever, which is why shes happy in the vision, and it snaps back to reality to show her surrounded by walkers. Trailer made me teary.
Do you know what the season 2 episode 5 trailer music is?
Sorry, I tried looking for it a while ago. Couldn't find it.
It's ok, i'll tell you if I find it
It was disappointment the season 2 finale song/tune I agree! but I guess it is to calm u down from after the dramatic events
the end song is lee and clementines song, it doesn't really make much sense to have it at the end of season two.
i even thought maybe i had played it too soon and they were going to patch the real end song in later
This one?

Hart to find a clear version.
I've heard this one already. Damn. I hope Anadel will release this composition soon.
It's Clementine's theme by Anadel (the music in the episode 4 trailer is an early version of that same theme), it hasn't been released yet but here's what they posted in their facebook page :
I can only think of two reasons why they would use this song for episode 5 ending instead of a new one:
-It was the end of Clem's story so they used this theme to close her story and to make us remember our journey from the beginning.
-Because there were 5 different endings, and some were happier than others they couldn't find a song that fits all the endings. If you compare the ending where Clem goes to wellington (happy ending for me) and the ending where she ends up alone (sad and tragic ending because she is just a little girl and there is no one left to take care of her, she is now the one that has to take care of a child on her own) a single song couldn't cover all those opposite themes and emotions.
I also love that music and it was also used in episode 5 trailer but I don't think it's Clem's theme:

yeah both reasons seem possible
oh, I like this one.
Thanks
I agree with you on the ''there should have been something more imotional or something'' side 100%. But I think that this song is more symbolic than anything and it fited in a way. But I reapet that I agree with the fact that they could have found something else to use.
They probably couldn't have too sad or emotional music because some people would have got happy endings, i.e. I left Wellington with Kenny, in general that was a happy ending for me, so I didn't want teary music.
In S1, the ending was the same, with just a detail tweaked, in general though was a sad ending, therefore they could have more emotional music for it.
I wanted it to be "The Best is Yet to Come" from Metal Gear Solid.
Now that you mention that, how cool would it have been if what ending you get could have determined your credits song.
this sounded a little bit scary!! XD but good
devics salty tears should have been the season finale song.
