Going alone with a baby is the worst of the 5 scenarios.
She doesn't have a lookout/protection and she doesn't have a person scavenging for food. The babies cry can alert zombies at any time, even when Clem is fast asleep. She must now also fight possible threats with a baby in hand. This wouldn't be as bad if she wasn't 11.
I haven't even mentioned the part where she has noone to talk to.

I just don't believe it'll last. The "over capacity" thing tipped me off and was reason enough I didn't want Clementine and AJ to stay there. I get why people like it, but I'm also selfish and don't want to let go of Kenny.
It's true that it may not last but it buys AJ the time to grow up without endangering Clem(Cries of a baby). It also allows Clem some time to recoup and possibly make some new friends. Whether it lasts mere months or years, it allows her time recover, physically grow up and to enjoy safety while it lasts.
The fact that they are still giving out essentials to travellers leads me to assume that they aren't significantly strained on supplies. It also helps that they stopped letting adults in.

When most people shot Kenny they weren't aware that AJ was still alive and that she rused him.
The alternative to not forgivng her was go… moreing alone. Some people may have thought it to be smarter to stick with Jane than to go full solo. At that point they really had no choice.

Wellington appears to be the perfect ending for AJ and Clem. There they have a stronghold, safety, community of people to talk to, maybe oth… moreer kids, food, water and who knows what else. Clem doesn't have to stress over AJ and the possibility that his cries may attract walkers. She can live comfortable for however long the shelter lasts, whether it be months or years.
Ignoring the fight between Kenny and Jane and the consequence of that completely, Wellington is objectively the best place for Clem and AJ.
True, theres always that possibility. However, I doubt that's the case for Wellington, it wouldn't make sense for Edith to turn away potential food and then hand them essentials. I'm sure cannibals would prefer to eat others as opposed to people from their own group and I doubt Wellington gets travellers too often.
